      @@DatdudeTi You seen these tundras with mods to the max? They rip dude. Even without they do. Towing was easy just made easier. This turbo in particular cost 7,695.00 before tax. Unless your mechanic is dog shit it won’t take him a full day nor cost an additional 2 grand to install.
      If you can find a tundra for about 35k, add this along with any other mods, even with 100k on it, will still outlast a shitty Duramax.
      When was the last time a duramax popped a million miles? Or 200k without dropping thousands into it? 🫣

    If you install a SC on a lifted truck with larger diameter tires, you should consider upgrading the rear. Nitro makes a 4.88 gear for that rear (10.5” ring) that would bring back the RPM and acceleration lost to the tires. Auburn makes a posi that fits nicely. Both mods vastly improve seat of pants experience but also 0-60 and towing. MPG roughly the same.

      This is from Toyota....And helping to deliver the power produced by the Tundra's 5.7L V8 is the specially designed rear differential and its massive 10.5-inch ring gear. This enables the 2020 Toyota Tundra to use a 4.30 rear axle ratio to amplify and transfer torque where you need it most.Jan 27, 2020
      Why would you want a higher gear ratio from what the Tundra already has? I don't understand

    • @georgiafan6618
      @georgiafan6618 3 роки тому +1

      @@aceman1741 for towing. The transmission’s OD reduces the extra RPM of a higher gear giving the truck almost identical MPG on hwy and pulls very hard down low.

    Ever since I left the Jeep world and picked up my now S.A.Swap First Gen Toyota Tacoma Xtracab , I've been learning what I have always known but never experienced. Toyotas quality, well thought out designs, and amazing, legendary dependability! My truck 🛻 is far from done, and is not sellable. She's part of the family. I get very emotionally attached to my vehicles. And offroad is an amazing offroad minitruck! Drop the 38s down to 10psi, put her in 4WL and point 👉 Next is the 1 ton F350 Front and Rear Axles! 5.39s and eventually a new 2.7 and 1 of these Maguson S/C's! I drive her every day (Constantly getting asked "How do you get in and out of that thing?) Yup, she's my D.D. and offroader/Motorcycle Hauler and NY/Long Island Battleaxe! You can't beat a Toyota! I'll never go back to Jeep, Never!! And next will be a First Gen Tundra, inevitably on Tons! No kids and about to turn 50, FTW! 😅 sorry for the long story, but I just love my little red truck 🛻 She's my pride and joy! Gets compliments every single day, even with all the war wounds and its snail 🐌 like speed, she's slow 🐌 as fk! So after the tons and 5.39s will be the motor!
    This Tundra is a freaking dream truck! What a beautiful beast! I'd give my first born for her! 😅

      Hey Kelly!
      Great question. In short, yes, adding a supercharger will more than likely impact the fuel efficiency. These modern supercharged are designed to optimize fuel efficiency but more power will demand more fuel. Your probably better off with the mods than not, but the fuel efficiency gain may not be that noticeable.
      Depending on the weight of your foot, fuel efficiency may not be too far off.
      What I do know is, it will sound awesome paired with your CAI and exhaust! I've gotten to drive many trucks, including the TRX, and nothing is quite like a supercharged 5.7L Tundra 🤘
