A common one. 7) placki ziemniaczane/potato pancakes should be thinner. a lot thinner. they used too much flour and too little potatoes. hence the puffiness. Never eat cheeses such as oscypek bought in a supermarket packed in cellophane. This means that they are a vulgar imitation of this regional cheese, which is certified by the European Union and its name is protected. Oscypek cheese must be eaten fresh in the Polish mountain region - the Tatra Mountains. They are produced naturally by sheepherders high in mountain meadows from sheep's milk. They can be eaten plain, but the taste may be too strong for someone unaccustomed to them (they are very salty and strongly smoked), which is why they are often served warmed and with cranberries. They have already written about Silesian dumplings here in the comments - it is not easy to find them in Warsaw, because it is a very regional dish, but rather as an addition to meat, and necessarily with an appropriate sauce. As for vodka - you drank the mild Żubrówka, which is the so-called "colorful" vodka, served without cooling, often also in a drink with apple juice. Polish traditional vodka - it is pure, chilled or even frozen vodka, which is drunk from a glass in one gulp :) I would be curious about your reactions after such an experience.
I would agree, but nowadays its not even the case in mountains, you must find some really old restaurant or buy those from actually regional people, cause most of the time you will eat same thing like those from supermarkets. From my experience best oscypki were from the people on street, with their small vans selling regional cheeses and similar things, they were not placed on like main centre in zakopane or białka but like 10/20km far away, idk really how to better explain this but thats what i saw

perhaps a weird auto-translation? the paczki are soooooo good! best doughnuts on earth. thanks for watching!
0:55 me watching this like JUST HOW RICH ARE YOU XDD
Haha 😂 not very! But it wasn’t too expensive for all that food all day! 100$ in Canada will get you one dinner for two.
@@KeithandDev so the perfect solution would be canadian salary x polish standard of living 🤭
Pozdrawiam.
We will have to try the Mushroom rolls next time we are there. We cant wait to return. Thanks for watching :)
Placki brzmią jak flaczki xD
We need actual classes on how to pronounce things in Polish haha we tried lol
Ta dziewczyna jest amiszka
Not sure what you mean
I always order double burger, just to be sure that some vegan can’t make a difference.
Sorry we are not quite sure what you mean?

Huia da buzi
Sorry not sure what you mean
@KeithandDev how are you doing it means I think
Pączki not paczki
Thanks for letting us know ! 🥰
Yes because otherwise it means packet 😄 it’s pronounced differently
You completely lost me with this gluten free BS you don't even know what good bread tastes like how very sad.
Hahah it’s not by choice! I would love to eat some delicious bread. Although I have found some good alternatives 😊
@@KeithandDev Sorry but my French blood was boiling when I heard "gluten free", it's not bread it's just cooked vomit.
Pierogi is actually plural! Like spaghetti.... stop butchering other languages 😬
Sorry we are really trying our best. Being on the road and moving a lot we try our best to pick up parts of the local language but will make mistakes.
Polish here. Don't worry about using duble plural for pierogi. We say chipsy, krakersy and few others which are also already plural in english and we basically make "pierogies".
As long as you don't put ketchup on pierogi (or say you don't like them), then its okay.
If you dont eat anything with gluten due to Coeliac disease , fair enough , If you don't eat gluten just because , ehhhh I prefer not to say what I think about u
I am allergic and that is why I don’t eat it. Trust me if I could I would 😅
Don't go to Warsaw! Cracow is much better.
We hope to go one day for sure! :)
Gołąbki tylko z kaszą i sosem pomidorowym. Te z ryżem są mało smaczne.
Good to know! thanks for watching :)
Keith Droga! trzeba bylo powiedzieć kelnerowi żeby przygotowali placki ziemniaczane bez glutenu bo dodaje sie do nich mąkę pszenna a skoro Ty jestes uczulona to mozna ją było zastapic ziemniaczaną lub kukurydzianą,pozdrawiam serdecznie
yes you're right, we screwed up :( we should have said that for the pyzy dumplings too. thanks for the info and thanks for watching!
