      Here's a suggestion: you sound depressed and it's like you're being forced to make the video. Add more life and energy to subsequent videos. Don't take long pauses. That comes across like you're tired of talking and can't wait to be done with the video. Take a look at KBB's reviews or any other auto journalist and look how lively they are.
      Thumbs up.

    I drove a 2015 2.5 S and I was impressed with the power of the 4 cylinder and the great gas mileage. I also liked the inside truck release. I would get the 2017 in the SV trim, that would have all that I would need, I would get the bumper protector, getting suitcases in and out can scrape up the bumper.

    I just purchased a 2017 Altima SV. The radio presets are digital. Do you know if there is any way to scroll through my preset stations, rather than touching each number individually? This is my only complaint I have about this car. In order to see the number I want to touch, I have to take my eyes off the road for a split second. I don't like that. In the regular Altima without the navigation package, there were actual buttons that could just push without having to actually look at them. A scrolling feature would be a huge help!

    Does anyone know how to adjust the volume of the incoming text message sound? It plays through the Bluetooth. I cannot find the volume for this anywhere in my settings, every time I get a text message in my car the volume is super loud and it makes me jump every time. I have a 2017 Altima SV.

    I have the 2016 Nissan Altima 2.5 s and there's really not much difference between the 17 and 16 models far as the interior goes everything looks the same and there's not much difference in the front grill of the Altima but I will say I like the video

    Great review as always! I have to say the Altima styling was ways neat! This latest update has made it very mainstream and boring (my opinion) it still looks good, but is a downgrade I feel in the styling department. I can't wait until Nissan International let's them ditch the CVT for an automatic. I think it's in 2019.

    • @CarConfections
      @CarConfections  7 років тому

      Hi there, thanks for the comment! We're not 100% sure about the Altima, but in most new cars changing the zone doesn't actually affect the automatic climate. So probably just push the zone buttons on the dash (that can be seen at 14:58 in the video). Hope that helps??

    • @stonecold116
      @stonecold116 7 років тому

      when i push zone buttons, it change to manually.

    The 2.5 SR is a sharp car. However, I don't quite understand its purpose. It has the same engine as the other 2.5 models, being no faster than the others nor is there a manual transmission.

      The funny part is most of these features newer Altima’s are just now getting what Infiniti had as standard in their cars from as far back as 2005…lol. Which is interesting since Infiniti is the luxury brand of Nissan. Better off getting an Infiniti, they didn’t put CVTs in those.

    BE CAREFUL IF THIS HAS A CVT TRANSMISSION. It is over $4000 to fix it, and they are known to have problems soon after the warranty expires. Look it up! The info is out there. This is not an isolated problem. Mine gave no warning. shifted fine since 2011 and in 2016 - it just died. towed off to the dealer and waited for a new trans. aprox 85k freeway miles, and it just died. typical from what I read. I also had a 1986 Maxima that lost the transmission in less than 10K ! But because Nissan replaced that one under warranty, we purchased another one in 2011. We thought Nissan as a consumer concerned company, so we trusted them.. We were about 15,000 over warranty, and Nissan turned their back on us, even though we were still within the time of warranty (7 years) but past the mileage (70,000 miles). Needless to say, we will not be purchasing a Nissan product ever again. I owned an Inifinit. I sold it before it lost it's Nissan transmission.

    • @danc1197
      @danc1197 6 років тому +4

      The old ones had problems, the new ones have improved cvt's. Nissan had to pay for most cvt failures. So obviously they went back to the drawing board.

    The way that I see it you're going to come out with a newer car you expected to be different and better from the previous year I would think so maybe it's just me The 2013 Nissan Ultima is the same as the 2015 Nissan Ultima same features and everything so yes I would expect it to be different

    FYI. Stay away from Nissan's CVT transmissions. It is known, even by Nissan to fail after warranty expires. Transmission tends to fail around 70K-80K miles. warranty is up to 60K. It may fail very soon, but normally after 70k-80K miles. I've had them fail in both ranges. Nissan covered it, when it failed early in the 2nd year of ownership. Nissan refused to do anything when we went over 70K miles. The cost is near $4000. If you have to have it. Put $4000 aside!! You've been warned.
