This is one of the most elaborate walkthrough I have seen. Good job man and thanks. I am buying a used 2016 altima SL with tech pack and your video explained me everything. I BOOKED ONE TOO
I am really glad to see the tech features finally brought over to the Nissan side of the fence. They have worked well for years on Infinitis. Once the 2.5 SL w/ tech ships with LED headlights I will get one. Hope that is soon.
Just purchased a 3.5 SL and you explain all of the features in such great detail. The person who was doing my walk through seemed untrained. He didn't know anything really. He just sat there, while I was looking at everything and figuring it out everything by trail and error.
My wife has this Altima SL with a MSRP of $35K with tech package. Not only did that car has LED DRL, also led fog lights, adaptive cruise control, rear spoiler, rear seats USB ports, body color matched door edge, premium pearl white paint, rear bumper protective piece, etc. lol. And it is still an Altima.
I'm getting my first car, and I am looking for a brand new car around 25000 but preferably under to get me through college. Would this be a good car to do that?
Forgot to mention: 1. Driver's display is now 1 instead of 2 displays 2. Center console now has chrome surrounding it while the chrome was removed from the center front area on either side of the shifter 3. Cupholders were redesigned Sux that the tech package components are now Standard in the 2016 model when one had to buy it, IF available, on the 2013-2015 models. Also, addition noise insulation was added to the front area that supposedly blocks out the engine noise as well as adding an acoustic windshield. The NASA inspired seats are just a marketing BS ploy... some people like them, others do NOT. The driver's seat cushion in the SL has LESS bottom cushioning since coils are needed for the seat warmers, which allows the seat to be warmed up. That kills the thick cushioning esp. on long road trips or when one is stuck in traffic/on long commutes >:( For the most part, nothing has changed much. Too bad the rear headroom in the SL with sunroof did NOT improve as it still is a tad low as 6 foot people will bump their heads on the ceiling! Nissan pissed off lots of its Altima owners of those models by upgrading the few areas mentioned >:(
+Michael Chan this video only focuses on standard equipment when upgrading from SV to SL, features you mentioned are standard on lower trim levels and were addressed there, the video focuses on SL specific features to help customers differentiate as they upgrade in trim levels
What's exclusive in the Nissan Altima, the Intelligent Cruise Control can not only monitor the vehicle of you but can also monitor the vehicle ahead of it, in case of a potential collision in which the vehicle swerves out of the way before you are able to see there's a vehicle stopped on front of it, the Altima is able to read the situation and automatically stop the vehicle and prevent a collision before you even think to press the brake This is class exclusive intelligent cruise control available only on a Nissan Altima As well as including predictive collision warning not available on accord and blind spot warning for both driver and passenger side vs lane watch only on passenger side in accord That and bringing best in class gas mileage on a non hybrid The Altima presents a better value when comparing similarly equipped models
A better value? Hmmm. Last time I checked the Honda Accord EX-L had far more features than the altima even though the adaptive cruise is not as sophisticated. Apple-Car Play, Lane Keep Assist, and a standard sunroof.
+2009skyline The LED DRL and LED Low beams are standard as of now. But when the 2016 Altima`s were released in December-February they were not available.
+Viswanath Somanchi They need to make the Altima Front bumper more aggressive . THe headlights are better but the bumper is weak. The Altima has way better speakers and sound system is the only reason why I'd consider this over the accord.
+Vic da G speakers can be upgraded but the driving fun cannot be. Altima is no match to accord in terms of fun. I just bought 2016 accord V6 it is a blast to drive and butter smooth 6 speed transmission wins hands down over Nissan's CVT. This is my personal opinion.

Why is it so dark though?! Idk, is it just my phone or computer?
Perfect Sentra.
GOOD REVIEW & GREAT CAR.
Great Nissan.
Does all the SL's with the tech/moonroof package come with remote start?
+Gio Eugene yes
got a question here. how to change mode when using automatic climate control. thanks
+Charles Chen what mode are you trying to change it to?
now is always foot and i like to set it to foot and defroster.
+Charles Chen press the mode button until you see that pop up in the AC display
adaptive cruise control isn't class exclusive to the Altima. You can get it on a 24k Accord

Why are you reviewing this car and then complain about lack of lighting?
because that’s what reviews are for

2016 Accord looks way better than 2016 altima.
