I would check out this machine in the Storm Blue exterior color on an upper level trim. SB is a very interesting color. I find it far more interesting than standard Black, which I find to have a mysterious vibe depending on most vehicles also, but SB IS intriguing speaking for myself. ♐
I’m surprised at the expectations for this car. This is a good daily driver and gas saver in these times. This is not a Scat pack lol. If you want amazing power this is not your car.
PLEASE have this vehicle in Storm Blue for a vid when you can. I'd like to see this color in sunlight. It seems to be a gunmetal color with a bluish undertone. Am I correct? ♐
Hey, did you get just the K&N air filter itself, or did you get an actual cold air kit with the tube and filter? I would love to get a cold air kit for my SR, but didn't know if they made aftermarket for this car or not?
K&N are great in performance but not so great long term. They’re good for sucking in a lot of air for horsepower which is there down fall in dusty type areas. They will suck in the dust as well and cause major issues long term. I’d stick with OEM air filter that doesn’t suck in alot of dust. And purchase Gumout Tuneup fuel system cleaner (white can). This did wonders for me with throttle response and mpgs. Don’t kill your car with the K&N sucking in a lot of air including a lot of particles.
In my experience it gives you higher rpms at faster rate. It actually shifts faster. I haven’t seen it hold gears longer. I’ve seen the opposite at higher rpms. I also get down on it in DS. I’m not gradually pressing, I’m flooring lol.
Does the CVT programming differ much from the 2015 model? Mine just hates to get past 2000 rpm when driving. You really have to punch it hard to get going into the higher rev range.
IMO Gumout tuneup fuel system cleaner woke mine up. Better throttle response for sure. I wouldn’t put so much expectations on a car with only 185HP. However my acceleration woke up for sure. The engine breathes better than before. This is a gas saver so do not expect it to be a Scatpack lol
@@NissanWalkthrough noticed you mentioned that the Sr is less fuel efficient than other Altimas does that mean the SR is tuned different than the other Altimas?
+manavarro00 must be purchased through a Nissan parts department A entire new headlight housing with integrated LED daytime running lights, they are plug in play Or through after market vendors
The sales manager that sold this car to me, told me the led running daylights could be installed as well & it's a lie. i called 1-800 nissan & this car is not equipped for those lights. now i'm stuck with this car i don't even want anymore as that's one of the features i wanted & got the car since the maxima is too expensive in payments. also the dealership staff said it will cost more than 8,ooo as they have to rewired the car & reprogram the computer to change the headlights with the led's. i guess i can do after market which nothing has come out for this car yet but will lose the warranty in the car.
is the power steering in the engine on the left side of the engine if youre looking at it from the front of the car suppose to make that screeching noise? its the side where the rubber goes across the front..please get back to me
+Ricardo Becerra it is normal, Nissan goes to many efforts to make the vehicle as quiet and comfortable as possible. That sound you're hearing is the by product of having a quieter overall engine
I'm buying this car one day for daily driving.
The styling of this car is sick.
i can’t wait till i test drive mine. i’m going to buy it
Just bought me a 2017 Nissan Altima SR today. Love it. LED headlights and LED DRL's. 😍
Coryy Bee does the bomber rangs lights up
Coryy Bee, Hi! How’s your MPG?

It'll definitely add to the attractiveness of the vehicle when it does become available
We will upload one as soon as it becomes available!
Just got the midnight edition..Overall the car is nice but don't like the radio, can Nissan dealers change it @NissanWalkthrough
Good review & great Nissan.
Wish this car had a sunroof

I wish they would add a turbo to the four cylinders
Very good car.
Just got the dark gray SR , sounds nice with a K&N intake

I just bought a Nissan Altima SR , does the led package Coke with the car or for installments?
Led package is optional
If your vehicle does not have led daytime running lights on when you turn it on then you may purchase a set from a Nissan
+NissanWalkthrough so not all Altima SR doesn't come with the boomerang shape led ?
It is optional
I have this car but I'm afraid to use Ds because I'm not sure how to use it.

I have the car. Should i drive the car on sports mode? Does it waste more gas?
+Edwin Rios you can drive it on sports mode if you'd like
It wastes sightly more gas
do I have to let off the gas if I switch to ds while the car is moving? or can I not adjust it unless the car is stopped
+isaiah ashman you can switch back and forth as the car moves or from a stop
NissanWalkthrough okay thanks, I have been using it lately and I let off the gas and switch it real quick it feels fine on the car

Are the day time led lights available on the 2.5 and 2.5 S?
+JCG52 Bruh no but can be installed with genuine Nissan parts
I love my SR got with the HID headlight package. Amazing car except the ride is somewhat rough
Is it the v6 3.5, 2016? I test drove one and it was smooth

Does this one have sunroof?
T and D ummmmmm.....
Sunroof is offered only on the SL and SV trim levels.
Sunroofs can leak and they take away headroom. Better off without .
The exhaust tips don't look even.
CVT sport mode...LOL
The handling sucks on these
