  • In this episode, Craig shows us how to remove the rear wheel on a Rize electric bike. Caution: Be sure not to touch the rear brake lever when the wheel is removed. Doing this can cause oil to spray and the rear brake to cinch up. Should we make more of these? Please hit the LIKE button and leave us a comment. And, don't forget to Subscribe!

    • @migthefig
      @migthefig 2 роки тому +1

      We all wait for all our stuff. Either parts or bikes itself. Don't think your alone in this. This is not Rize's fault at all. Those parts come from China and lockdown is causing all sorts of problem and slowing down mailing significantly. And not just that, almost at the same time this stupid covid hit, the demand of Ebike just sky rocketed.

    The best way to remember what order the washers and nuts go on the bike is to put them in order on the ground when you take them off.
    Don't just drop them like a pile of coins.

    You forgot to mention of the placement of the gear cluster and the chain when you reinstall. Having chain in the wrong cog when you replace the wheel will cause irreversible harm when you go to ride it.

      Hello,
      You'll have to grab a wrench that fits the axle and wiggle the axle back and forth as you place the wheel into the bike. The issue is your axle is not oriented the correct direction when placing it onto the frame.

      Lol that's what I was wondering too .
      He used 18 m wrench so .so the whole nut is 18mm
      But the hole is going to be M12 or and M14 I think .I called Rize, guy didn't know on the phone 😐
      Also the front size might be smaller like an m10 ,m8 .
      I have the old spark bike x .I guess it would be the same for Rize x
