Would have been really nice to see a steady shot of the entire pond from farther back for a few seconds... hard to tell what the finished project really looked like.
That looks amazing. How do you calculate how much flow you needed? All the formulas seem so rigid yet your feature is beautifully free form and natural looking. Sorry my interest in one is new
Gallons per hour needed for waterfall width: Sheet Waterfall = 1500 gph/foot. Heavy White Water Flow = 3000 gph/foot. It's also really subjective, what kind of look are you going for? Do you want a trickle or crashing? Etc. But that is the base formula.
Pure magic …. When ever I place a pile of rock on the side of a hill , no matter how nice I ask it … the water flows under the rocks , never over . But if it ever does what I ask it to , I hope it’s a beautiful as this
Hasta este punto me venga dando cuenta de que tan caras son esas rocas, allá en mi rancho ahí muchísimas y aquí un ojo de la cara. Mama éramos ricos y no lo sabíamos
@@AtlantisWaterGardens no where! When’s it’s done. I just meant the feeling when you’re building the pond, you just want to cover all the liner with stone asap. Great job as always Jaak!!👍
Honestly even from close up it looks pretty bad. Muddy smurf blue water with a crappy flow. Dudes overly defensive in the comments about it not being a DIY 😂. Looks terrible. What a joke.
Omg I WANT this! Except it needs to like.. go down a hill and around some corners and end in a middle sized koi pond 🤌🏽
That would be amazing too!
I have one minus the koi pond
@@-TFORD- nice
Imma make a huge white rapids river

Very nice. I just wish that moving such big rocks was feasible for more people.
Thank you. Yea, without the proper equipment using the larger size bolders isn't really possible.
The ancient Egyptians would beg to differ
DR DRE as a back drop to a pond build. Okayyyy.
Thanks for letting us know how you feel about it. If you ain't up on thangs, Atlantis is the name we're ahead of the game.
bro did all of this for 1 short 😎 respect
Thanks!

Try using pond spray foam to get the water to flow where you'd like it to.
@@AtlantisWaterGardens You're awesome bro sharing all this knowledge
Live the results!
So did the owner! :D
What did the final bill come to? And what did all the supply cost you without the labor included?

As the guy who owns a company that unfortunately gets paid to winterize these... Thanks for helping to keep my business going...
No problem. We winterize as well.
Wow!!
Thanks!
What an impact 😊
Thanks!
The fast beat and fast work😊. How in short time you took us to the falls.
:D Thank you
DIY and you are using a digger. is that how you call it?
It could still be done by hand, we're just lucky enough to have the equipment.
Wow 😊
You like it?
@@AtlantisWaterGardens love it 😍
What is that plastic grid material you put in first called?
AquaBlox.
Love it. How much?
You can check out different package sizes here: atlantiswatergardens.com/pricing/pond-packages/
what kind of liner is that? brand, size, thickness?
45 mil EPDM pond liner by Aquascape.
How much do these ponds cost? I have no idea. 10K? 100K? Of course I don't know the price of car parts either so there is that.
Lol! You can go here and price out different types of water features :) atlantiswatergardens.com/pricing/
Fabulous result. but who wrote the title!?!
D.I.Y. my A.r.s.e. ( uk expression)😂
I mean, we did it ourselves ;)
I like the music. Make me want to C walk. Lol
Lol! I want to see it!

You used pond dye to get it to be blue? Wanted to confirm
Yea, the homeowner added dye.
Running 2 pumps and spill tanks?
Yup!
I invite you guys to my backyard! I’ll provide dinner!🙌🙌🙌
Do we just get to hang out and eat dinner, or are you expecting something in return? ;P
Black rubber liner is the enemy! Cover the sh$& up! Lol😂
🤔
Where do you see the liner?

@@AtlantisWaterGardens ha ha! Yeah, it IS the job!👍
All about the stone
Yes!
I like it in my garden but my dad didn't let me do it
Dang.
How on earth is this DIY?👀😂
Ya have to put the work in ;) Haha
Right? It's not DIY if you pay a company to do it
Probably didnt look as good from a distance, hence the close up shots
You're right, it doesn't look food, but it looks GOOOOOOD!

Got me 😂

This is not a DIY. This is a whole production probably at least 10k to get done
A bit more than 10k. But, it can be done DIY.
Must be nice to have $$$ and have someone build it for you....
Must be.
Para que usan el plástico negro

Come on you gotta get some better flow than that. 10x the gpm
perfect flow for what the customer wanted.
Doesn’t look like a DIY project 😂
DIY with some equipment ;)
DIY........excavator comes in
We understand not everyone has access to an excavator, but in that case you just envision yourself shoveling ;)
