While a lot of people are familiar with the Trijicon RMR, how about the SRO? The Trijicon SRO (Specialized Reflex Optic), while similar to the RMR, has some unique things going on.
While the SRO features an aluminum housing, the geometry is different. And while it loses something in strength as compared to the RMR, it gains a lot in usability. The window is now circular and boasts a much larger field of view. It also gives you access to the battery without having to remove the unit, a huge improvement. And with 8 brightness settings, 2 Night Vision settings, you can use this optic for a lot of different activities. Be it on a pistol, rifle, or shotgun. The Trijicon SRO is offered with a 1 MOA, 2.5 MOA and 5 MOA dot.

Jagerwerks makes a nice little stainless steel shield called the B.R.O.S. for the SRO. I’m running this set up on a Glock 45 mos and I’m loving it. It’s only 40 bucks so it’s worth the added protection it provides. Love the content brother, keep up the good work!!!!
Thanks for the tip!
Something to remember is that adding wight to your pistol optic will increase recoil.
Yea when there ever in stock which is never lol
Loving the videos, keep the reviews coming! channels growing, it’s awesome to see.
Nice job! Your videos always help!
Welcome back brother.
I just built a recce style AR. I use the SRO as a quick acquisition red dot on a 45 degree mount. So far, it runs very well for that purpose.
Awesome content as always my friend!!
Great video. Additionally, it is still awesome that your boys get to be involved.
Ha! That shirt is hilarious. Greetings from VA
Your video quality is top notch.
Added one to 590a1. Just awesome.
Great info!
I've had this optic and mount combo for well over a year now, currently paired with the Leupold D-EVO. Though both optics were never designed with the other in mind they match surprisingly well, the bottom flat cut-off of the SRO lens lining up with the top flat cut-off of the D-EVO lens.
Great shirt!
Thats a banger of a thumbnail! 🔥
Love the SRO for competition! I did manage to break one (pistol fell off the bench when I was getting cleaned up for a match)
thanks. i didn’t realize the strength in the rmr design. 21 years ago i put a tasco optima on my g17. i got lucky and it worked well. i don’t remember why i took it off and sold it to a buddy but maybe i’ll revisit the small red dot on a pistol.
I get those nosebleeds too. Great review!
Love the shirt
Picked the SRO up today for my Canik TP9SFX can’t wait to zero it and compete !!
Seems like a great niche for the SRO is a backup offset optic on a precision/Recce rifle. It's not subject to the same forces as an RMR on a pistol and the bigger window is ideal if you have to mount the offset SRO forward of your primary optic mount.
Loving that shirt, also nice to see a red dot with a 1 moa dot, hard to find those
The ending was priceless. I’ve had that happen. It sucks. Great review though
An SRO body, RMRCC Window and hood would be awesome.
I have that exact setup on my galil ace. Same mount and everything but I have a BROS mount which makes it probably tougher than an rmr. A must have if your going with an SRO.
Which mount is this?

Some people seem to really love this optic because of the shape and FOV.
Just discovered the channel a couple of days ago, love what I've had time to watch so far. What reflex sight do you recommend for my AR platform? I'm thinking of putting a thermal imaging scope on the pickatinny rail and a red top cantilevered to the side
Gotta love those random bloody noses
you going to do a video on that class?
feeding the algo.
KlayCo47 runs them on his AKs. I think Jagerworks has a metal shroud to protect it a bit more.
Someone needs to make a sidearm RMR/SRO QR kydex cover, something like Shay's trigger guard cover that comes off when drawn, for those of us that live where weather is still an issue.
A thin aluminum arc rollbar at the top of the SRO would add a lot of durability.
What brand is that riser
Hey I have the same shirt! 😆
what height is your Scalarworks ?
The question we need to ask ourselves is... But is it better than the 509t?
Can you use it with magnifier?
What mount did he use on the shotgun for the Picatinny rail
Scalarworks
what riser are you using
I just wish they could compete a little better on price with holosun
I never re-zeroed my RMR because i use the factory recommended torque specs...
Great content and funny/sad shirt, but unfortunately relevant. Thank you!
What suppressor did you use with the CMMG 5.7 upper?
Q Erector. Q actually recommends the El Camino for 5.7 because it's more robust.
@@PriusTurbo Thanks!
Please trijicon make an enclosed optic with a side loading battery
Which model?
After the abusive testing Eric Cowan has done I'd say the Holosun 509T is the gold standard for hard use durability.
👍
These are great optics. I have one mounted on my 9mm semi-auto and in the last two years I’ve shot over 20,000 rounds and still going strong. Doesn’t look to bad either considering it’s a “tool”.
As an offset optic with the BROS Shield, that’s how I use my SRO’s. Phenomenal. If you’re going to use the SRO just for a range toy or competition setup, no need for the shield. If you’re going to use it on a duty/defense setup, def get the BROS Shield. With the shield, I’ve dropped the fucker down a canyon, beat the hell out of it, it’s very durable.
Some Pokémon are a lot harder to catch lol
Does it come in green?
I'm pretty sure it's more durable than I am.
Little late to the party!
Great sight, but if you watch to the end it appears to emit high levels of radiation.
Ahh. fuck.
