The Dewalt 12V Extreme line is awesome. They've got a pretty good promo goin on right now. Free battery pack starter kit with purchase of a tool. Grabbed the screwdriver and the 901 and 902 impact wrench. Great tools.

In speed 1 the impact driver stops for a sec, then starts the hammering, until that is only driving the screw. So try to hold there next time a bit more and you'll see what I try to explain.

There is no wobble when you apply pressure to screw.

The screwdriver is actually good for putting together items that don’t require such a high torque or require you to adjust the torque to a low setting. However, you still need some type of drill driver as well as an impact. These two tools actually serve a different purpose for different jobs around the house.
