I tried your recipe but, as I live in the Philippines, I wanted to make sort of a tropical bar so I followed all of your procedures except as follows: I used 1 cup of multigrain cereal (which I pulsed in my food processor) instead of quinoa, I maintained your honey mixture except that I didn't have any coconut oil, so I used 1/4 cup of melted butter. Then I replaced all of your fruit, nut and seed ingredients with 1/4 cup desiccated coconut, 1/4 cup chopped dates, 1/4 cup dried mango, 1/4 cup dried pineapple, 1/2 cup raisins, and 1/4 cup almonds and 1/4 cup pecans (both of which were also pulsed in my food processor). The result was excellent. I felt so virtuous!
Hi! Have you tried leaving them in the pantry? If so, how long did it last? Thank you! Im planning of making them and im hoping that i can make batches that can last for a week.
Man I did this, and for starters, sooooo much cheaper to make them than buying them. Also, waaay tastier than bought granules bars! And you can monitor thyroid sugar and calorie intake better with these! Thank you son much for this! Love all the way from nairobi kenya.
I made some today and they were delicious! I didn't have quinoa flakes, so I just replaced them with more rolled oats. I didn't have many seeds or dried fruit, so I just used raisins and almonds. They came out amazing!
I love this granola bar recipe, I've made it several times. I use puffed quinoa instead of the flakes and omit the orange (not a fan). I've even made a tropical version with toasted cashews, shredded coconut and dried mangoes. Oh yum!
If I had a house and money, I would have a kitchen like that. The oven (although it is very high and I am only 4 foot 9 inches) and the drawers with the in-built containers with the lids.
I just did this one last night and cut it this morning and it turned out great. They were a little too sticky to stack in a container so I spread a little almond flour out on the cutting board and moved each bar through the flour. No more sticky and the flour is of course just almonds so it tastes great.
Omg I can't wait to try them, I love that you have the ingredients measured in grams too, that helps me a lot. I love your organised beautiful kitchen, a dream 😍😍😍
Beautiful! I come across your recipes from time to time but when I do, I stop looking because I find exactly what I’m looking for. Thank you so much for this easy yet delicious recipe.

I've made your sweet and salty snack before which turned out delish! Now I'm going to make these, but with chocolate chips!! Can't wait, Anna, love how you inspire us with these recipes!!!! 😊🙏❤
Super easy and delicious. I did save time microwaving the honey mixture and skipped the stovetop. Either way, it's still a piece of cake and tasty. Thanks Anna! I made my first homemade granola bars. 😊

Thank you for being clear, for great uncomplicated recipes and without the need of "special kitchen tools"....your recipes are fantastic!
I love the way she narrates. She doesn’t say more than needed
Many classrooms don’t allow peanuts due to allergies. Seeds are not the same as nuts, so no allergies. Hope this helps.🙂
I agree
Exactly, she's educational not irritating
Mmm. That looks good
Absolutely right! She doesn’t say more than needed.
Just love how Anna simply gets into action without long boring nonsense.
