Just got my xgrip so I can fit a Glock 17 mag in a Glock 26 I love it. No it does not defeat the purpose of having a baby Glock I like to use the 17 rd mag with the longer grip sleeve for home defense and i like to carry it when I’m wearing baggier clothing and can conceal the longer grip easier. Glock 26 more versatile Glock
This is just what I was going to ask. A coworker is selling a gen 5 glock 26 with trijicon hd sights and a tungsten recoil spring guide rod, 1 reg 10 round mag, 1 ten round mag with pinky grip extension, amd and a 3rd ten round mag that with a +2 extension, for $600. I'm contemplating buying it, but don't like that short grip.
Yes sir, I feel you here. I chose however to meet in the middle, I run a G19 15+1 mag with an XGrip in my G26, and it feels sublime. It's a nice compromise between size and capacity over the G17 mag. I'm not a very big guy, and the G17 mag prints badly.
I just found out about x grip. My Glock 26 is so uncomfortable I stopped carrying it and using it at the range for a few years now. I ordered two x grips and g17 mags after seeing this. Thank you!
I yes, this little device makes a nice addition to the standard capacity 17 round mag. Thanks for watching and commenting. Please subscribe if you enjoy your contact.
Now that is a lot of snow. I live in Mesa Arizona and I do not see snow. It has been 82 degrees here in November. Thanks for the video I like the Glock 26.
Sir, thank you for your comments. You are correct I'm not military and my terminology was not accurate. Appreciate the correction and thank you for watching the channel. Best regards!
Great point... this bit of kit is inteneded to help as a training aid and allow you to have a full sized grip on a compact pistol. Thanks for watching and commenting.
True... but I only use this for training. Especially training others of when I am working of trigger control and trigger reset. Having that larger frame makes it much easier for you to control. For carry I use the regular set up with a +2 Mag extension.
i need to invest in these for a G27. I'd like to get one that will allow a G23 mag to fit comfortably. In my opinion, its one of the best compromises for carrying concealed and still retaining the piece of mind of a full-sized duty gun.
I carry the PM9 most days. For comfort and carry I usually use the 6 round flush fitting mag but the 7 round mag is far easier for me to get a firing grip on the gun because of the extends shaped base plate. Check out my videos on the Kahr PM9 for more information. Thanks for watching and commenting. I hope you'll subscribe to the channel.
I've used the g19 as my edc for years, found the slide to be too long (i carry appendix iwb) i forgot about my little g26, added xgrips to the g19mag slapped it in the g26 and it's my new favorite edc. The feel of the xgrip with the glock 26 hump on the frame makes this a smooth shooting pistol. It doesnt print any more than my g19 does plus it's more comfortable. I ordered more xgrips to throw on my g19mags to have on hand for my iwb mag pouch too!
Congrats on finding the right handgun for EDC. Comfort and conceal-ability are key! Thanks for commenting. Hope you'll subscribe and share with friends and family. Stay safe.
Sir, thank you so much for watching and commenting. Nice to hear from a friend in the great state of New Hampshire. I hope you will consider subscribing to the channel and checking out some of our other content.
doesn't it seem more responsible to train with it how you plan to carry it? I mean its nice to have the grip extension but only if you plan to carry with it. Otherwise in a bad situation where you actually need it you shoot and lose control of the firearm being the gun grip is half the size that you practice with. Just food for thought. I have big hands and honestly doubt I could reliably pull that size of a gun consistently without dropping it under intense pressure of a life threatening event. So I would have to use the grip extension but then I would probably just suggest the G19 in that case.
Thanks for your comments. I agree with your statement to practice with what you carry! That is the thing to do. Also agree about getting a G19 vs a G26 if the smaller gun doesn't fit your hands. At the same time, there are tens of thousands of Americans who own handguns for nothing other than recreational shooting. They go to the range and shoot paper with no intention of defensive applications of handguns. (This grip extension helps them). In addition some folks have subcompacts for home defense (not what I would use but to each his own). This product would be good for people not looking to conceal carry or who are struggling to hold onto a subcompact. Thanks again for watching and commenting!
Itssallyinyermind4: you aren't adding "bulk" you adding length to the grip. It's nice to have for longs days at the range. You can still carry it with the 10 round magazine. I thinks its like having at least two guns in one. Especially since the Glock 26 shoots as well as the 19.
I hate the mag adapters/fillers/sleeves. Great way to pinch your finger when making a quick mag swap. The part of the mag that sticks out doesn't bother me. I can still put a finger on it. So what if it doesn't look "cool".
Great video. Love the 'wind' as it adds cold realism! Ordered some 'xgrips' as I have a lot of full size magazines and cannot find 10 round magazines at this time. Conserve that ammunition!
Thank you so much for this video...it is exactly on point with my question...2 times a month I run a tactical pistol course here in Miami and presently use my Glock 19 Gen 4 (I really like it) but I am a one gun person and find it difficult to carry conceal the G19 because of its longer grip...I was thinking of buying a Glock 26 for EDC and then purchasing the X-Grip for the G19 magazine to run while at my tactical class to make drawing the gun easier. Your thoughts?
Sir, thank you for the feedback. I should’ve done a better job spending more time with the XGip for the clock 26. I appreciate your feedback and hope you will subscribe to the channel.
I just bought my xgrip for a gen 5g26 on a 15 rnd mag, but when I change magazines it stays on the gun, does Not fall easy. Does any one has had this issue?
I've not experienced that. It's possible the magazine is the issue or that the sleeve isn't down far enough. Try the sleeve on another magazine. Thanks for commenting. Hope you'll subscribe.
Great demo, agree that it feels great and and shoots better with the extension....I’ve had trouble with getting the mag to free fall while doing an emergency reload.....my palm hold the slide in when I press the release and end up having to rip the mag. Any tips? Anyone?
Glock 45, that's my primary carry gun, my back up is a Glock 26 with 12 rd OEM. Just my input. If you don't 5.47" height due to concealability then get a Glock 19 MOS.
internet user36-0 meet in the middle and just put a +3 pinky extender on your mag and carry it 13+1 and still keep that concealable “subcompact” aspect of your G26. I have both G17 and G19 mags with X-grips for it for at the range, but I carry it with the factory mags with the pinky extender
This is gonna be my ccw as soon as I turn 21, I would probably conceal it with a standard 10 round mag then when I get home pop a g17 mag with grip extension in it. You basically have a compact CCW and a mid/full sized home defense weapon all in one.
That XGrip mag sleeve is terrible! I just ordered one and its too damn slippery. I wish I had not ordered it. Too bad I cant return it. You probably didn't notice how slippery cuz you were wearing gloves. Try it in the spring or summer without gloves.
Frankly, for the Gen 2 and 3 glocks, I just cust skateboard tape for the grip, and that worked great. The XGrip didn't feel slippery to me, even in the summer. I hear you though, some people don't like it. Thanks for commenting. Hope you'll subscribe.
This is NOT kit. I'm pretty sure you're not military and your viewers are almost all civilians so need need to use military/Special Operations terminology. Also noticed you seem to have a little issue with getting your mags in the guns. Too much coffee and have the shakes? Or as the older guys say, do you need a little hair around it to help you find the hole?

If you use the glock 19 15round mag with the x-grip sleeve the pistol feels perfect almost just like a glock 19. Beautiful, I love it.

just bought one to fit the G22 mag in my Gen 3 G27. Thanks for the review

Sofa King Tactical agrees 100% with GG&OTT, the Xgrip is awesome on a baby Glock!
Couch Potato Tactical agrees 100% as well!

XGRIP is a great product. Just got one for my G23, using an extra mag I had for my G22. Looks great, feels awesome... need to test it at the range.
I didn't like it. It needs some texture. I put it on my Glock 47 17 rd magazine and it is too slippery.

I Carry 2-XGRIP Glock 19 Mags, For My Glock 26 Gen5...
Got the X Grip for my wife's Glock 26 its perfect, Used it with a Glock 19 Mag.
XGRIPs are made for both the M&P9c and the Glock 26. These are different parts and not interchangeable as far as I know.

have the xgrip for my g29 and g30.. when i get a g26, it will get one too.. :) excellent!!

How much is the total unloaded weight of the glock 26 with glock 17 mag and x-grip?
Great video. Love the 'wind' as it adds cold realism! Ordered some 'xgrips' as I have a lot of full size magazines and cannot find 10 round magazines at this time. Conserve that ammunition!
Great video✅ Well Explained
Glad you liked it!
I'm hearing Owen Wilson talking
Woooooow.
Interesting but the issue I see with it, is your taking away the smallness of the glock & adding extra bulk.
I checked my mag and there not x grip perhaps I should check them out, another question glock. 26 or mp 9c
I have the x grip for the Glock 19 15 round mag, would it work essentially the same just not fit as flush ?
Yes the mag would fit flush but there would be a gap between the sleeve and the frame .
Where ????
Well for some reason or another my new Xgrips does not fit on my G26 or G17. G26 is a 10 round clip and the G17 is a 17 round clip 🤦🏽♂️
Very odd. I'd contact X Grip and see if you can get a new one. BTW for whatever interest you may have, these are devices are magazines, not "clips".
Price?
is that a 9mm? mines a 9mm and idk if i need a G19 15 round mag or what
Which of these grips is your favourit?

You should practice in the configuration you're going to be using the firearm in a concealed carry scenario, if it's for concealed carry that is.
Woah woah, if i cant get an xgrip for my g18 33rd mag, whats the point? lol
DJ Miell why cant you?
Is there any grip extenders that attach to the pistol grip instead of the magazine?
There’s an idea
we would need a Sadariland mag holster for mags with x grip.
What?
O use a Glock 19 mag with the XGrip for reload and I carry with a +2.
cool... thanks for commenting.
so good, even toy r us use it
Question 10+1 mag or a g17 mag
internet user36-0 meet in the middle and just put a +3 pinky extender on your mag and carry it 13+1 and still keep that concealable “subcompact” aspect of your G26. I have both G17 and G19 mags with X-grips for it for at the range, but I carry it with the factory mags with the pinky extender
