    After watching this behind the scenes clip, it ,makes me want to look the movie over and over again! Tears came in my eyes when Steven stated that we are afraid of human connection. It's a thought that I have pondered for many years. This movie made heart sing and weep at the same time. Both actors were BRILLIANT!!! I have always been a fan of Steven and now I fallen in love with Robert! I look forward to future projects from the both of them.

    I watched the film twice and both times it made me cry! Really beautifully made and as a member of the disabled community it’s so refreshing to see a film cast an actor who truly can do justice to the role, too often we see able bodied people cast to play disabled roles and it’s a shame because only somebody with the life experience can really portray a role such as this to the highest level.
    Both Robert and Steven played their parts to perfection and did a top notch job delivering the message to the viewers with authenticity!
    What a stunning film, thank you so much for making it 😊

      Well said! The way that Steven's character was literally on defense for Robert's at the end made my heart leap with joy! I am not of the disabled community, only to say that i have been ashamed how they are treated in different situation. It would be monumental for more roles to be given to both deaf and blind actors. And even homeless youth might i add!

      @@lsrproductionsentertainmen248 Yes seeing homeless youth cast in films would be a brilliant thing to see! This is how we move forwards as a society and start humanising people who have previously been shunned by mainstream society, it gives me hope for the future seeing more inclusivity in the media 😊

    Saw this after the Oscars list was announced; it's wonderful and the two performances are just amazing. Steven Prescod's eyes literally blossom and open up through his interactions with Robert Tarango. Bravo.

    I don't care if it was short because that's what they are short. I got the meaning. I can see and I have friends who are deaf also. There are people who pass over to the side and don't want to help any let alone a blind and deaf person . But I feel that when you help people in general it makes you feel good. I believe when faced with opportunity some don't worry about can they help a person who needs our assistant we just help just help because that Who we are. We have a caring nature. The film the homeless teen at first he didn't know what to do but as it went on you can see him start

    I think sign language should be taught in all schools, I think it would really help connect the world more, my deaf sister taught me sign language at a very young age and it helped in thousands of situations with the deaf, my sister looks at the world as the deaf world and the hearing world and it would be so much better to bring them together

    So from what I'm getting by "legally blind" is that he can still see to some degree. Likely not well, but enough to see like the shape of a person or building maybe. Like I can at least use glasses, but my vision is like watching any video in 144p, or a bit worse with detail.

    • @Renvaar1989

      Try putting headphones on, blasting the music up (so you can't hear ANYTHING of the outside world, or even your own speech) and then speak to people in a public setting. You won't have volume control, you won't be able to hear if you are articulating the sounds correctly and words may come out totally wrong, but you can't hear anything, so you have no clue. Now try doing this for 20 years, never hearing your own words come out. Many deaf people are perfectly capable of speech, but choose to use other communication methods because it's more natural to them, and they shouldn't feel the need to speak verbally just because other people want them to.

    • @pinang1
      @pinang1 3 роки тому +4

      if you're deaf from birth it is very hard to learn speech as you're... deaf.

      Blind and deaf dont always mean 100% blind and 100% deaf. they may hear a very slight bit ( or none at all ) or see extremely difficult or see smudges.

      @Renvaar1989 3 роки тому +2

      legally blind doesn't mean he can see nothing but darkness. Please educate yourself.
