I love that detail at 0:43, where all the buttons minus the one indicating love are well-used and have been pressed by the Wishgranter to the point where the images on them are fading. Environmental storytelling is always fun.

Nice catch. Looking at the buttons, I’m surprised people wish for food more often than love.
I am no film critic at all, I just love films, but a lot of these shorts to me are far better than "real" films. They are incredible, I just sometimes lose myself of an evening following links and it is fabulous x
They rarely contain an impressive idea or a good twist most of them talk about love romance because they are short it is mostly a strange power or something unexplained so the story can settle like this one I think real movies are better because they just don't have these problems but I can understand why u love these they actually specialize by how simple they are and sometimes they may touch something in you if they were well written
Because their objective are different. Film wanted to make money while short film wanted to make story. Well you can argue in some cases there is someone who wants to make a film that is worth teaching(motivational)

They should really show some of these shorts in cinemas before a full-length movie starts, like instead of ads. Because these are so much more delightful, and plus it would be good for the creators and the audience!

His wish was to have those two meet. He did make a wish when he tosses the coin, you can see him close his eyes and smile, so that coin was enough to dislodge them rather than to just pile on. He never gets to use the heart button so I imagine that's a worthy wish for him.

This was lots of fun!
Something I found especially interesting is that when the coins stuck the Wishgranter pushed the Heart button several times, which made more Love magic back up against the coins. One consequence: it got stronger and was able to pull the two Wishers together (literally). This is fine and wonderful!
When the Love bursts out of the pipe after being freed, though, it splits into three directions. My immediate thought was that the Granter would be brought into their love with the other part! And why not? The little critter seems like they could use some love
