My favorite part of this episode is Cordy's invisible roommate, Phantom Dennis. They really ought to pay attention when Phantom Dennis starts trying to tell them something is wrong!
This is the first indication that Wesley is a truly talented marksman. Hitting that barrel from that distance, while it was in motion, was no mean feat.
I 100% respect your choice to do this watch order, however, Mikey's expectation (lol) that this might be a continuation from the previous episode is why I don't like the watch order. It sets up this expectation that as we can see, isn't really accurate. I hope this isn't seen as a complaint, just an attempt to temper your expectations when episodes are grouped together.
I agree with @sugardares last comment. I'm usually fine with using watch-order lists, but sometimes concurrent episodes are just that and nothing more.
@@UatuOmega Agreed. I think sometimes you get 2 episodes of one show together simply because of the way they want to break up the other show, while not getting too far behind in either show.
I have never followed the watch order, and instead watched the shows one after the other. Any threads that connect the two shows, that were teased in my first watch of Buffy, were just minor mysteries at the time and didn't throw me off track. I might have needed to visit the Buffy forums to be clear on a few things, but none of those reveals spoiled Angel for me. It was satisfying enough to have a few good ah-ha moments during my first Angel watch.

lol yea you never want to hear your docter say "oh mo god".
In radiology school they drilled it into us to do your best to never react after viewing the image so patients remain calm!
Cordelia's date stole that "behind the camera" line from Rent.
I can't wait until Mikey gets to the episode with the Impregnating Aliens who live in those asteroid caverns. 😉
"I don't think anyone's pregnant. It could be Santa Claus" 😂🤣😭
What if Santa Claus is pregnant?
Thanks Mike and Mikey. I enjoy this episode but feel it is one of the lesser ones from season one.
Wesley gets better throughout the show
❤🧡💛💚💙💜
I love the look on the "boyfriend" faces when bullets don't harm Angel.
Wesley…. just remember for the future that kid from Willy Wonka.

Just wait for it! Wesley will have one of the best character developments/evolutions in the entire Buffyverse, just like Willow on Buffy...
