(NOT A SPOILER) In the scene near the end, Britta and agent Loeb use the formula to put his hand through the solid back wall of the safe to retrieve the apple. It's a bit murky because the CGI at the time wasn't great but that's what they're trying to show you.
"Is that what it's like to talk to me" 😭 And the end of this episode seems to trip up a lot of people, but what they accomplished was reaching through a solid side of the safe to remove the apple. As for the glyphs - it's a code, spelling out a different word every episode. Sometimes a prominent character that week, sometimes a word that connects to the theme of the episode. It's nothing major or key to watching the show, but it's an fun extra Easter egg.
Walter’s break downs always break my heart. 😢 it’s so sad to see. BUT, I absolutely love how protective Peter becomes. Oh and you should rewatch the scene with the apple, I don’t think you understood what they were trying to accomplish. He attached something onto the side of the safe, used the code to turn it on, put the apple inside the safe and removed it from the side.
A spork is a utensil that you eat with, combining a fork and a spoon at the other end. Useful when camping, necessary during army manouvres in the wild.
They didn't clone the apple, they pulled the apple through a solid wall. The Observer appeared in the background while Liv was on the phone, in the scene just before the one in which she turns to spot the red castle. Relatively easy catch. Some of the sightings are...very easy.
One of the things that I do plays Walter said he liked about the rule in the TV series is that he got to play so many different versions of Walter. Each was a different character.
Thanks Mikey & Eddie, enjoyed your reaction/discussion. Hope that Mike's immune system improves and he quickly returns. John Noble is so good as Walter and I really liked seeing Walter & Peter's relationship deepen. Others have explained the meaning of the apple scene which obviously will be important. And, LOL, you almost Britta'd recognizing Gillian Jacobs.
Although for me it's a meh episode in terms of weird thing of the week, Joshua Jackson and John Noble save this with Peter's concern for Walter and Walter's vulnerability.

Often it's made of plastic in institutions...so unable to cause significant harm...usually.

The agent reached through the solid steel wall of a safe and withdrew the apple that was locked inside.
He put the apple in a safe and then reached through the wall of the safe and grabbed the apple.

“oh britta’s in this?”

Enjoyed Walter becoming self aware.

Nice to see Britta turned to a life of crime after graduating from Community.
She Britta'd it though.
They didn't show that there was an apple still in the safe.
Ooooh I recognize that kid from Ozark!
Don't split up!
