FYI you don't need the 2 blue pipes to hold up that rear panel....your car has a red hook under that panel that will attach to the upper body to hold the panel up
Haha I was waiting for someone to mention this😂 I realized it after filming. I hadn’t been under there for a full year and totally forgot that existed🤦🏻♂️
Hey bro , just had to tell u that ur polestar Volvo its my favorite car on the internet, my dream car!!!
Thanks dude!👊🏻 can’t wait to give you more videos on it!
Yo man, you see that strap with the red hook on your floor panel? That hook hangs off the top of the hatch seal and holds it up for you
Haha yea someone mentioned that already. I forgot it existed it and noticed it after filming🤦🏻♂️😂
Holy thanks dude
Definitely better than putting it in sport and having someone disconnect the valves while they’re open like I did 😂
just grabbed me a 2013 s60 t6 r-design, they sound so good! but I need a louder exhaust for sure.
Hey man as a polestar owner myself, literally this same exact year and color, having a very difficult time finding instructions either written or video of how to manually adjust the öhlins dampers. I found one okay forum post but there was still a lot of information missing. I don't know if you have plans to do so but a video detailing how to adjust these dampers would be incredibly helpful as a fellow owner. Loving this series. Thanks.
Best source of info would be the facebook group ”polestar owners”
I’d love to but, according to Volvo, you should let the dealer adjust those. I would like to dial mine in a bit better, so I’ll for sure make a video on it if we get to it!
@@shiftinglanesgarage i could send you two pics with instructions and damper settings recommended by Polestar
Got them, thank you!
@@shiftinglanesgarage Huh? This is very easy owner adjustable feature of the car.
that's a really convoluted button combo
Is your very stable and not getto at all prop bars better than using the included hook and strap?
Lol yes, especially when I forget that existed completely 🤦🏻♂️😂
I had a similar setup on my v70R like so similar it literally had the same remote 😂 actually except I had to weld up the cut out valve. The cutout valve stopped working because it kept getting really toasty lol I'm gonna do a varex valved muffler later on
Seriously considering getting this SPB Remote for my S60... Also 2016 3.0 but in RB. Glad to see the look on your face is the same as mine when driving :-) Thanks for the vid
Thanks for watching! And definitely get it! Worth every penny.
Just do it Travis! I have 8 units left
Will u be able to get the 2016 r design 3.0 a SPB remote thing
Good Evening, i have the 2015 v60 t5 Premier and was wondering if i could upgrade toa bigger turbine.
I love Volvo wagons
looking forward to a POV ride the dragon on a sunny day, so relaxing/satisfying
I wish I lived near the actual tail of the dragon. Hoping to get back down there next year for a rally! Will definitely be doing a POV drive in this thing once the summer tires go back on.
Did you know that the V60 Polestar with the 6 cylinder at the launch in Holland 99.500 Euro cost? Metal color and sunroof not included! Very exclusive car. Take care of it
What's with the reverse bucket sports seats in the back? Midget Uber?
Children express
Hey you should know that the red hook in the trunk is suppose to hook on top of the trunk frame :)
Ive got the S60 version of this , have you done any audio upgrades yet? the wiring in this car is next level . If you do please amke a video :)
What sort of audio upgrades are you talking about specifically? I gutted all of the audio from the head unit back in my V60 and replaced it all with aftermarket.
Glory ❌ Gloriousness ✅
Exactly ✅
I also have a volvo t6 polestar in my 2009 xc60 everytime I use sport I get this weird jerk when getting off the power any idea what could cause it.
Those are the best seats! I had one, then a new Mach 1 and a x3m.
I want something like this for my 2018 volvo. How do I contact you?
have you found the cars sport plus mode yet?
This car does not have the sport plus trick. Only 2017+ models here in the US with the twin charged 4-cyl had that.
Will this work for a basic v60 ?
Unfortunately no. Your car does not have an exhaust with electronically activated flaps to make it quieter or softer.
If you have an electronic cutout installed on your exhaust , then yes. But it will work with the remote, not with the transmission
Does installing an aftermarket catback mean that you lose the ability to open/close valves? I assume, yes..
It depends on if the catback you buy has the valve. Most do not.
Like for Hasbik (little man on passenger seat)
i really wanted a V60 P*, but the seats were a little too aggressive for me as a daily. BTW.. any plans for NJ meets?
Totally understandable. The seats are a bit more heavily bolstered than most. For me they are perfection. Definitely want to get some New Jersey meats going this spring and summer!
is there another to way to contact SPB other then instagram, by email? Or do you you know if this remote would work on my 2019 V60 T5 stock exhaust?
It will only work on exhausts with an electronically controlled butterfly valve. Would not work on your car with the stock exhaust.
@@shiftinglanesgarage my Volvo dealer said that my stock exhaust has Exhaust Control Valve Actuator. If what you name "electronically controlled butterfly valve" is the same thing do you have another way to reach SPB?
Do a costum exhaust, thank me later lol
Or save 200 and stop being lazy and put it in sport mode lol
I drive in sport mode all the time still. It’s $200 to have glorious cold starts because this unit allows for exhaust flaps to be programmed open at all times. Worth every penny. Nothing lazy about this.
If dont have Polestar. Do i need to get some custom exhaust to use this?
