Great job! I did my seats on my V50, same colour. But I did not have a spray gun, or heat guns to dry. So I cleaned the seats with Auto Glym leather cleaner and magic erasers, which really lift the dirt, and prepped the seats with very fine sand paper, then filled in all the creases, and allowed the filler to dry. Then I gave the seats another light sanding, and cleaned of the dust with a damp micro fibre cloth. Then I applied the leather colourant with a clean cloth, allowed it to dry, then applied another coat of colourant. The colourant I used had a satin finish when dry, and did not require a final coat of sealant. The entire process took two days for the whole car, including leather inserts on the door cards. It took longer because I had to let each process dry naturally. But the results were AMAZING, like a brand new interior. Two years have passed since I did it, and now they will need doing again, but only the front seats, as I do not use the back seat. So the back seat only needs to be lightly cleaned. 👍

amazing video gr8 job - but my seats they are ventilated with million off holes any ideas how to make that hols coloured instead of black (lather is beige)
Thanks Adam; in most cases, the colour of the leather in the perforation should have the same colour as the top. It the holes are black, is there a chance that it is just dirt? I have seen a case, where the holes looked with, someone lashed conditioner on the leather and filled the fully; it looked very weird.

Hi: I have a 2012 Volvo S60 T6 AWD with light beige leather seats that have similar wear on them. The car has 117,000miles. I’m located in Chicago,Illinois (U.S.A.). Its very easy to do. All you need is time and patience. You can buy the products you need online, quite cheaply. You don't need spray guns or heat guns, but garden sprayers can be used if need be. I just used magic erasers and leather cleaner to clean, and Micro fibre cloths to apply the products, and let each stage dry naturally. Do your front seats one day, and the rear seat the next day.
@@hermanmunster3358 thank for the info I appreciate it my seats are ok was just saying if I needed leather repair yours looked great I have a scratch on my leather steering wheel that I will eventually bring some place for repair
Yes, it can also be done with sponge, however it would be even more time consuming if you tried to do whole seat with a sponge. Here is video that I use sponge to fix a bolster ua-cam.com/video/lAfDhtIObtQ/v-deo.html for small areas this method is absolutely fine.
Of course in this case the job will be more demanding but still doable. You spray one colour first, leave it for a few days, mask it and spray the second colour. When it comes to stitching, you can mask it with masking tape, or there is also a gel that you can apply on the stitching, paint it and peel off the protective gel. I use tape. You can see this done in this video: ua-cam.com/video/54lhunHODZo/v-deo.html

After the repair is the leather supple? After repair....Can you use Meguiars Leather cleaner for normal ongoing cleaning and feeding of the repaired "painted" leather?
To keep the natural features of the leather, I only spray enough paint to fix the damage; coats are light; if there is too much paint applied, the leather loses its natural softness in touch, so the amount of paint is essential. In the case of dry or hard leather, I leave it for the day and apply Colourlock Leather Protector ( conditioner), sometimes it takes a few applications within 2-3 days, but it feeds the leather and brings it back its softness. I use Colourlock products for leather care, but Megiuars are good products, too, so they won't cause any harm.
