- An intense water rescue was caught on camera after three good Samaritans jumped into the Boca Raton Inlet to save a teen who was struggling and crying out for help.
On Sunday, Seth Stern was at the Boca Raton Inlet with his camera filming boats for work when he heard someone crying from help in the water.
After waving down the lifeguards, Stern took matters into his own hands.

If only one person jumps in the water to save one person a lot of times that rescuer will get worn out and tired trying to drag the victim to safety if two people jump in they can take turns carrying the victim and 3 is even better. Good work God bless

Two girls were stranded under the piling of a bridge on a bunch of dead trees during a flood of the little Miami River river 1970 I jumped in and drugged one to shore. Two of us jumped in for the second girl the current was strong and I could not do it alone. Dan saved the day

It was a 19 year old Haitian that’ll probably be on the news again in a few weeks for robbing someone or he could be one of the cannibals from Haiti they’ve been talking about..who knows.
These brave men deserve special recognition for putting their lives on the line. They didn’t have time to think about anything else……… They just acted quickly upon instinct to save that teen’s life…… Because of them, the teen got a second chance at life and has a future ahead of him…… And I hope it’s a bright one! That's the difference between heroes and everyone else. They don't think, they act.
When he said he had children, it made complete sense why he's so protective & empathetic.
One of the most dangerous things a person can do is attempt to save a drowning victim by approaching them from the front.
Panic will cause the person to grab you in a "death grip", likely drowning the two of you... Approach from the rear and put the person in a neck lock and swim to safety using one arm.
This young man thankfully wasn't drowning or in panic mode, just scared.
Happened to my 5th grade teacher. Canoe capsized from sudden storm and her boyfriend tried to save her but she fought him off. Explains why she never showed up to basketball with us that day. RIP Linda Harper
This is so dangerous. Even people who are on the edge of exhaustion can rally enough energy to drown both of you in many cases. Approach with caution!
Yea my niece pulled me down to the bottom of a pool with her grip I had to grab her and swim up smh crazy

Yeah, but as a parent, I’d want people to help. And, I’d want to help someone else’s child. I have epilepsy, and when I have seizures, they’re incredibly frightening for people watching. MANY People have helped me. Strangers, who had the heart big enough to help me when other people were watching, sometimes videoing, and maybe too frightened to help me. So, I salute everyone who, by instinct, dives in to help. I think you would help too. 🙏🏽🌹

Thank goodness the teen was spotted by grown men. Had it been teens that spotted him in the water, they would have pulled out cameras and started recording.

If you don't know how to get out of a rip current, you'd be amazed at how quickly it will wear you out. Remember! If you're stuck in a rip, swim parallel and slightly diagonally to the shore! I'm so glad that these men were there to help him!
