I have always told all my friends- if you do not understand how important the movie music is, take your favorite movie scene and replace music of that with the Benny Hill show theme music! Would that scene be anymore so impressive? :)
I grew up on Voyager and haven't seen much of Ds9, Next Gen, the original series, or the ones with captain Archer, or any of the movies aside from the Alternate reality kelvin timeline movie universe, that said from my knowledge of researching lore and playing games and such, personally i have always liked the semi casual but also very structured look of the Voyager Uniforms, I also like the Kelvin Alternate reality uniforms because they seem like the original series uniforms but with a modern flare.

I'm confused. My point is that, your stick in the mud nostalgic and exclusionary position is not in the spirit of Trek, which has always promoted a progressive, inclusive world view.

It is so ironic, that ST biggest "enemy" Star Wars father George Lucas had that vision "What if we put a big orchestra music in scifi movie?" It really did work and since then every Star Trek movie and series have used that. I love all the scifi scene! :)
Only a select few from both fandoms view them as "enemies". For me, I just enjoy both forms of SciFi. I grew up in the 60s with Star Trek, Star Wars and Doctor Who, and today, all those franchises are still as strong as ever. They gave birth to true SciFi, and I'm only glad they are still going. They could go on forever. The only thing missing these days is a Twilight Zone Universe and my life would be complete
@hepe71 - Star Trek has used orchestral music from its inception in the 1960's. The only theme tune to deviate from this was the quite awful (imo) Enterprise opening credit song. The SW films might predate the first ST ones, but it would have been really weird if the show that had an orchestra playing through each episode when it was recorded decided to not have orchestral music in its films.
There r 6 captains in Star Trek. Yes. I've finally accepted, begrudgingly, Chris Pine as an alternate J T Kirk. But I hate Discovery, Stupid New Wankers and the dumb cartoons. I'd never watch them nor will I accept them. EVER. And now in 2023,its just been revealed a new series has been greenlit. Titled Starfleet Academy. Star Trek is truly dead and buried.
@@tiberiuskirk8690 I don't watch cartoons, and yeah I didn't watch the one with Kirk either. Trek attracts kids I guess, but intelligent Trek really isn't for kids.

So which generation or show wore the best uniform(s)? I say the original design still rocks.
I'm a big fan of the movie tng uniforms/ 2nd ds9 uniforms, the ones with the grey shoulders. I always thought they were more impressive.

Personally the worst were tng 1st season with the spandex. The best was was the tng movie after Generations
Personally, I preferred the TNG uniforms, especially the TNG movie uniforms. The grey shoulders fit well with the color scheme.
TOS had the best in Wrath of Khan and onwards.
Why did you turn the sound down at 34:20, during Enterprise's theme.
the first part of it is from seasons 1 and 2 and the second part is from seasons 3 and 4. They changed it a little so it sounds a little different.
