- Hi, this video shows you how to update your MayFlash Magic-NS adapter so you can use your Wii controllers on the Nintendo Switch. I then test them out to see what works.

You have no idea how much of a blessing this video has been especially the one with the xbox Adaptive controller. My wife being a disabled Vet was able to cope with her disabilities through gaming. Recently she has been experiencing sever pain in her arm an was not able to manage a full controller. Because of this vid, I just set her up with the nunchuk and now she's so excited to play again because it's much easier to play. God bless you!

My magic-ns adaptor almost broke when a loose cord was on the ground and my dog came through a pulled my entire Switch down
I've done it with my headset and my sisters dock and my switch dented in the corner
I would love to be able to use my Wii notes on the new switch sports. My adapter arrives today!! Also can't wait to hook up my ps3 steering wheel to my switch!

hold shift and click update on 1.21 installation and you can go back to the previous version

The Magic NS for the Switch V 1.21 update now allows XBOX 360 wireless controllers to work via the XBOX 360 wireless PC adapter. I was wondering if you can test this with the official XBOX 360 steering wheel and Mario Kart 8DX please. Thank you.

This is good, however would be more useful the other way round (where you could use your JoyCons on the WiiU instead of Wii remotes, so that you didn’t have to keep replacing batteries on the darn things!) was thinking this the other day, but this video had made me wonder if this adapter has any driver downloads that would make it work that way round!) Would be very useful if it does!

Do you have to update it as soon as soon as you open it from the box, I don't want to update it I just want to play it straight out of the box would be great.

konkeyDong I don’t sense any lag, feels responsive as Brawl and Smash4. I actually did turn tap jump off and made the down d-pad jump instead (helps with short hop aerials). Side d-pad for grabs and A+tap stick for smash attacks.

ah so this was recent... well my freaken goodness this was the right time because i JUST got a wiimote so i can use it on my switch! (i have the classic consoles and want to use the controllers more)
so someone saw this to like it... its working, but whenever i play a game for a while the wiimote dies.
if someone knows how to fix this is would be nice.

is there anyway to change the buttons mapping on the wiimote to make the A button actually press as A and the B button actually count as B

I wanted to know if you owned a Brooks ps3 to ps2 adapter and if so I wanted to know if you could use it in conjunction with a Magic NS so that you could use the joycons on a ps2? Asking because I have an idea to use a ps2 slim along with joycons to make a fully portable ps2 the easy way!

Hey Vince! Got my magic-ns and brooks ps3/ps4 to ps2 controller converter and it works perfectly! Joycons and pro controllers to ps2 is flawless and I'm on my way to making a PS2 Slim portable! I'm gonna do it with a Zenith 5 inch screen that snaps on to the slim ps2 and is powered with one ps2 adapter that passes through the monitor and into the console.
I wanted to give you that info in case you wanted to make one yourself, but also wanted to know if you had any ideas what type of battery pack I should use to power it? The ps2 slim takes an 8.5v power adapter to power it and the monitor, but I'm not sure which bank to use that would be a decent size and would give me a decent play time.

I updated it to version 1.21 and now it doesn’t work.
My PS4 and Wii controller don’t work on it.
It connect’s but doesn’t move on screen.

i just had a layman idea for how it could be possible to actually use two controllers via only one dongle (either 8bitdo or magic-ns. in my theory that doesn't matter)
i thought if the problem were how the switch recognises the dongle as only one wired controller because one usb port can obviously only have one wired controller plugged in (while the dongle itself can pair multiple bt controllers anyway), maybe it is possible to plug the dongle into a Y-usb splitter cable with 1 female splitting into 2 males? and then plug those 2 males into both usb slots of the dock? maybe this could help the switch to *see* two wired controllers and maybe that's all it needed?
There's no way that it would know which split to send the info to. At best you'll end up giving mirrored signal to two slots. At worst it won't work at all
I have a Magic NS arriving today. Using it for the USB Genesis controller for my Switch Lite. Do you need to download and update all the previous updates from the support page to the device...or just the most recent firmware update...?

I just tested it out with my SNES Classic controller and it worked.

Does anyone knows why my wii controller isn't working? It syncs perfectly with the Magic-NS but when I press the buttons nothing happens. My Magic-NS is on V. 1.25. I've tried it downloading again from the original website but it doesn't works. Synchronizing again the controller doesn't works neither (of course, magic-ns' light is purple). Thanks in advice!

Mosiah Castillo The most recent firmware update on the Nintendo switch allows for remapping of the pro controller (which the wiimote is recognised as). :D

Ray Jones thanks but I figured it out- I was using and Xbox one controller and the wireless feature isn’t compatible with the Xbox one controller (original Xbox one)

Hi, you will be missing the ZR and R so you won't be able to shoot unless you can map the buttons on Fortnite (I haven't checked).

I have only played it a dozen times on the Xbox One but I got down to 3 once and 2 once by just bush camping (find a bush and crouch down in it) and then find another bush when the storm moves in. Makes the game a bit boring but might give you a chance to get that first kill on a unsuspecting passer by :-)

As long as it's wired. If it is wireless, you need to get a 360 controller wireless adapter.
