i kinda like this design better than the Warn OE winch plate. seems more straightforward in the installation. Zip ties could've maybe helped with holding it up and then cut it after.

It is a nice plate. And at the time, I didn't even think about zipties. Would have been so helpful than. After, I had that thought, and it was one of those "you dork" moments.

@explorationoverland I was about to order the Warn winch plate and i just saw your video in time good thing I did!

I put a winch on my jeep, hand tightened the rope onto the spool, then to properly spool it onto the drum, I hooked onto a down tree and skidded the tree up so i could cut it into firewood.

That's a good idea! I will have to use that to tighten mine! There are tones of down trees around me right now haha. Thanks
