------------------------------------------My Story-----------------------------------------------------------------
My name is Noah, and on May 18, 2011, I had a rare reaction to the medication VIVITROL, which led to severe suicidal depression, depersonalization, and anxiety. Within just four weeks, I lost 25 pounds and spent the next eight weeks in a constant state of panic, mixed with unbearable depression. I could no longer work and had to move in with my parents for 24/7 care due to being a danger to myself. After being hospitalized in a psychiatric ward, I underwent numerous treatments-SSRIs, SNRIs, mood stabilizers, anti-psychotics, holistic therapies, and even RTMS (shock therapy)-but experienced minimal improvement for over a year.
Eventually, blood tests revealed extremely low testosterone levels (200 ng/Dl and 150 ng/Dl), compared to the average of 750 ng/Dl for a 25-year-old male. This discovery explained why my symptoms persisted and resembled major depression. After starting testosterone replacement therapy, I slowly began to improve. Over the past six years, I’ve worked hard to regain mental stability, though the journey has included setbacks.
Today, I continue to document my experiences and insights on mental health, while focusing on physical fitness as a key part of my recovery. Weight training and cardio play a significant role in maintaining my mental well-being, which I also share on my channel.

How some physicians can wait so long to test for low T is amazing. Just goes to show not all Drs are good Drs. Nutrition and hormones need to be a bigger part of medical school.
Glad to hear your story is a great one
These general doctors don't know shit. 😅 You gotta take your health into your own hands or work with specialists only 💪🏾
The lack of addressing T may be because big pharma doesn't make a lot of money on it(?)
The clinic I started with had a nurse that knew about as much as a GP
Gym rats have more knowledge, its sad.
well if arent hunched over with 0 muscle poor beard growth and under 30yo chances are arent low T.. I imagine he wasnt super low T esp if looked at conversion of E. JUST like heroin, T can mask a whole lot of issues and perhaps not the best approach esp as until very very recently the dangers including heart attack stroke infertility were too large esp for younger people. heroin is addictive just like T and essentially could be considered remedy for low dopamine. opiates give people drive, never get sick because of high dopamine, can work harder at there job and even workouts, aswell as loose social anxiety etc.. anyway yes nutrition is important and most DRs ive ever saw always say eat better and work out more for basically every issue. they also know that low T can be faked very easily or can get teh odd low reading so before starting TRT GOOD Drs will test your T levels LH etc 2-3 times over 8 months or so before considering TRT.. 2 should be the min esp with no previous tests from years before. TRT is not a panacea so many people think it is, but it is not. you can get yourself into a worse space shutting off your testicals that produce alot more hormones than testosterone, and simply arent available to supplement with, this goes 10X for people with mental health issues and wanting T to be the cure. again, while yes T makes everything feel better, so does opiates or antidepressents, there is NO FREE LUNCH, ever...
@@waywordprairie922 Personally I would suggest peptides before test with the knowledge I have now...
Better to signal your testis to produce more than shut them down or at least both so you can keep them somewhat healthy
Miserable depressed alcoholic for years. Found sobriety 5 years ago. TRT replacement 2 1/2 years ago. People are amazed at the person I am now. Mentally and physically.
I love life now. Don't think about doing it, just do it. I'm 60 now and love life.
Im turning 50. Ive been living like I am death on legs for years. Life is barely tolerable due to low T and depression. Doctors are hopeless because my levels are low but sometime get above the bare minimum. I guess I will check out a TRT clinic. Hopefully this will fix it
Invest in a good quality clinic. I use Hormone Health & Wellness Palm Neach because they are basically the cheapest but I only stay with them because I have a separate private practice Dr (very educated in T) that I get to see in person for any questions I have. We work on a lot more than just T
@@VelvetNoirLo-Fi be sure to express your goals to them as many think everyone wants 200mg a week.. you want a DR that will start you low and work up slowly until your symptoms are resolved. several important reasons for this that GOOD drs care about, but influencers and legal steroid users will say "oh DRs are so shitty he only gave me 60mg a weeek". that is drug seeking behaviour. remember your dont NEED high T all day as levels folks target are the MaX levels healthy males have for a 2-3 hrs a day...ie if take test and are at 850, that means you actually have test levels of a male who prob peaks at 1300 ie way above normal. also you dont need to be as high as many people think because once you activate the androgen receptors they dont need to be flooded 24/7 to resolve symptoms.
Amennnnn I needed to hear that part...
"Don't think about it. Just do it."
Congratulations on the sobriety. 12 years clean from dugs and alcohol. 52 years old and 339 test. Sex drive is there and I'm 230 fat muscular. Definitely don't feel good anymore. Doctor says he doesn't think 339 is too low. My free test is 1.85 so he says all is good..
I’ve been on trt for 3 yrs now. I’m 5’7” and currently weigh 165. When I started my numbers were ridiculously low at age 49. I weighed a total of 205lbs had sleep apnea , my a1c’s were elevated and was overweight. Now I’m down 4 pants sizes but mind you I exercise twice a day in 30min intervals. I’m so grateful for this medication though it’s helped my libido and personal appearance but most of all my positive outlook on life.
I just started TRT a month ago today. I’m 26. I’ve struggled with anxiety/depression for a long time. Was on antidepressants and anti anxiety meds up until I was 22.
My testosterone levels were 275. I’m taking 150mg of test E twice a week. I already feel so much better just after being on for a month.
be sure to add HcG!
@@bige2012whats HcG for?
@@jakefields3736helps your sperm production , going on TRT your body shuts down it’s natural production of testosterone hence you won’t produce sperm aka infertility
Im 26 and been on TRT for about 6 months and will be slowly hopping off because I don’t want to end up infertile, I want kids and if you want kids I encourage you to talk to your doctor, anxiety/depression can be cured through other ways you don’t need TRT for that to be fixed, look into HCG or other supplements to help your sperm quality, also do a full blood work look into your LH levels, your sperm quality etc

Thank you so much for your story and I myself found in the same situation throughout my life … my testosterone level was at 112 at 44 , and I’m 45 now and wow the difference is unreal and I’m wondering how many others are feeling this … ❤❤❤
My husband asked me to watch this and see what I thought, in order to learn, understand him, and help support him throughout his journey. What a fantastic look into the world of men's hormones. I really appreciate how well spoken you are. Thank you for making and sharing this video. Very informative and enlightening.
You set the bar for empathy, wisdom, masculinity, and knowledge. Thank you!
A most excellent highly insightful, brutally honest, direct, and served cold with crystal clarity in focus and content. Outstanding!
Very kind of you to say. Thank you and I hope you are well today.
Yes indeed I absolutely could not agree more. I appreciate you being so vulnerable. I am a disabled veteran and a survivor of severe physical and mental child abuse. The way you described your feelings in the beginning and the end of the video is exactly how I feel. I've known my entire life that I do not suffer from depression but there is definitely something else. I have tried everything and I'm still stuck and so frustrated. I just got off the phone today with a clinic that seems very trustworthy out of florida. I'm getting ready to go do my labs as soon as possible. And I'm convinced that I will come back for low testosterone. I really appreciate your breakdown of your experience and especially how you figure out how to dose it correctly small doses over time. Obviously there is a lot of concern about this because the financial obligation and the effect on your natural abilities but I really think that this is the right move. I guess you just get so sick and tired of being sick and tired you know. You're a real hero to so many and I'm glad that I stumble across your video and my search for answers. I will definitely be subscribing and following your channel and looking for that video you're talking about working out on trt. I even became a certified personal trainer and I'm not looking to get jacked I'm just looking to get well. It's really amazing looking at you back then and seeing you now obviously this is working very well for you not only physically but mentally. Thank you very much my friend peace love and light and may all your wildest dreams continue to come true. Blessed be my friend.
Thank you, this was super helpful and inspiring for me as someone who recently went on TRT one week ago.
bignoknowllc.setmore.com/noah-thomas. Here to talk if you need some 1 on 1 support. This also helps support my family and I greatly appreciate that too.
Did you stay on injections or eventually switch to pellets?
I’ve been on TRT just over 3 months. I started at 180mg a week and I got all the benefits but was having some unwanted side effects. Hot flashes, red face, blood pressure was up and down, and a feeling of anxiety. I almost quit but I rode it out. Believe it or not they increased my dose to 200 mg a week and after 2 and half months almost all the side effects have gone away. If I have issues my hemoglobin or red blood cell count gets a little high but I donate blood once a month and it goes back to normal. I have zero complaints at this point. Truly life changing.
Oh there, you are, buddy I remember you I remember watching your video first time you didn’t injection in the glutes that was fucking funny as hell to see you all jacked up looking good brother
Scammer, you just want to make a dollar.
@@mastachi888pellets are no bueno
Good to see you are doing well. Watched your content for about 5 years when i started TRT. A lot of your early issues rung true with me (hunger and acne). I'm on 100mg/wk over two SubQ shots now and works well..
I’m 39. Best decision I ever made. If done correctly and not abused it’s a game changer.
I’m very thankful for those original videos and your journey. It’s helped a lot of us manage over the years.
1000%. Literally LIFE SAVING for many people. I don't know if he appreciates how much he helped us
Thank you for sharing. So transparent, eloquent, smart and honest. Such a refreshing look. I'm considering TRT myself and been on the fence for years. Probably not going to do it, but if I would I'm going to insist my physician watches this video prior to any consultation given. Thank you. Subscribed.
Your mom helping you is my favorite part of the video.
I'm starting trt next month and i'm not afraid to say i was incredibly scared until i watched this video. Thank you SO MUCH.
Hopefully you’re dealing with an endocrinologist and not just your normal doctor.
Don’t be scared. I just started a month ago and I’m already starting to feel better. My level was
@amazingrazin why? Serious question 🤔 I only see a urine doctor for trt and a normal pcp for normal health stuff
Likewise. I start next week. Thank you
Could you please provide tips and tricks how do you inject and where. To help us learn best ways. Thank you
You “saved me the trouble”and showed me “ compassion” so thank you for reaching out. This video helped a lot.
Hi Noah, this video timing was literally PERFECT for me. I really appreciate you opening up and becoming vulnerable in this way to help others. I just had my consultation and get my first vial next week. Very informative. Thanks! I will keep in mind that I will have to put in work and that this won't just fix me on it's own.
Did you start?
You are an incredible human, I think your story is brilliant. Look at how much compassion you have. Thanks for adding in how you put too much pressure on HRT- that you still had soul level aspects to figure out. Thanks for sharing your story!!
I like your calm and collected voice, you speak so clearly. And it's great to have youtube videos exactly like this for all the amazing info there is. A gold medal to you sir
I am a mental health counselor and just started on TRT. I really like your message!
king, youre an inspiration. you dropped this 👑
I appreciate the video. I'm 39 and was feeling off, decided to get some blood tests done and found out my T is around 150. I have a consultation with a specialist next week and have been doing some research leading up to it. This content is very helpful for someone in my shoes. There's a lot to know and the lived experience of someone who has done it is invaluable.
Mine was 150 too when I started.
Update?
Absolute game changer for me! My energy levels are night and day and I have found that my will power and resolve improved making it easier for me to stay consistent with diet and exercise. My body composition has completely changed, I'm down only about 15lbs but went from about 30% body fat down to about 15% now. My mood is better, my brain fog is gone... I feel like a new man.
I'm looking into doing this bc my trt is fairly low..38 at 270 lab numbers. I am really hoping this helps me with just feeling better about life and increases my energy because I am always so drained and tired constantly that it impacts my daily life with my kiddo and just getting things done around the house. Hoping to start this month. Anyone got any pointers as to where to go to get this done? I have a few places around where I live but not sure what is the safest bet to choose.
@@jsully4074 I use my family dr. and get my labs done regularly.
What a video. Wow. Thank you so much. All my questions are answered.
56 and on Testosterone Cypionate for last 4 months. Blood test before TRT was 412 ng/dl. Just got tested a week ago and I was at 1,290 ng/dl. My doctor has me on 100 mg per week. I inject subcutaneously (not in the muscle) in my abdomen. Suffice it to say that I feel healthy and an increased desire to work out and to be in motion. The very first thing you notice when you start TRT is increased libido.
Curious why you do subQ? Is that what doctor suggested. I've also done shallow IM glute or delt never felt better since starting TRT 16 months ago
@@Dan84888 Slower, longer lasting release. I have tested my testosterone at 24 hr after initial injection, Day 3, and Day 7. This is definitely a better approach for me. Bodybuilders who are injecting 300 to 500 (and more) tend to inject IM.
@@Dan84888 I prefer it and my doc suggested it as well. subQ also provides more balanced testosterone levels.
Libido still not there for me so your statement is true for you.
@ Could be a dosage issue. Hope you get this figured out.
Man you look so good now.this gives me hope. I got down to 130 normally weight 175 I was looking sick I was depressed I was brain fog I was miserable. I’ve been working out and only started two weeks ago and have been feeling the benefits already. Brain fog it’s clearing, depression is settling and I’ve noticed a change in motivation already as well. Will see what the blood work says next appointment and continue as I have seen results and have huge amounts of hope
Good stuff Noah, thank you for sharing this. Just took my first shot today, 60 mg twice a week. I am also putting a lot of pressure on the TRT to solve my problems but know a lot more needs to be done at this point. Take care.
Hi , i take 1ml of test 400 every 10 days. I feel good. Only inject once every 10 days. Do you think this dose is ok long term
@abwise1881 everything I've heard/read says this is wayyy too much at one time. You don't want to peak and Valley your test so much. Like noah said in the video, I'm also essentially every 4 days. There even is some research out saying doing it EVERY day is best on your organs/hormones (but that's so much work/dedication)
@@abwise1881break it up into more shots, it will help with estrogen
I am the target audience for this video. I’m 33 and just started 100mg a week about three weeks ago. My levels were right about 90, so I was in a terrible spot. Within days my anxiety was cut by 75% and I’m starting to notice an improvement in a lot of areas in my life. This video was really reassuring for me. I really appreciate you putting this out there!
I applaude you for bein honest!

Same, I'm 55 and started my first dose today with the gel application. Are you doing injections? I'm not sure if I'll want to keep applying gel every day.
@@H2ObarryField What are your experiences with the gel application? I would also like to start with trt. But I don't want to inject!
@@TskAkinci Hey. I'm on the lowest dose (I think) gel packs1% (2.5 grams). I apply on my right arm daily, which I do still find tedious. About 30 min after applying I get a bit of a body rush (cold sweat), which doesn't last long. I noticed my body hair getting darker and coarser after first week. I have a more calm demeanor, which I didn't expect. I occasionally lift weights and noticed more strength and muscle mass. Higher libido, but not like when I was in my teens or 20's. Finding I have to urinate much more often, which was advised by Dr. Other than that, not much else has changed. I question whether I should continue, but concerned what will happen if I stop. I suspect that more has changed that I haven't actually noticed, since it is all gradual. Hope this helps.
Thanks!
I had a pituitary tumor and this was me at 26. My test was 69! Been on test for 14 years or so and im not even the same person anymore. It changed everything about me. My body and my mind, my psyche my personality my everything changed.

How are things going? I’m 42 with a T of 250. Started TRT yesterday. Interested to see how you’re doing after 6 months.
@LyellWalker Same weight but put muscle on, started off benching 120 now at 275. So pretty reliable gains. Mentally feel great, no depression or anxiety. Peaked at 890 then came down a little after reducing the dose

I see your beard came in nice too, I’ve been on trt for a few months. I went from shaving twice a week to shaving almost every day. I also do not struggle with depression at all anymore and I feel much more positive and confident. Energy levels are great libido and appetite also 👍🏽
I have been on trt for 6 months, now. I’m almost 43 and tested at 218 total test at the beginning. I will say it took about 4-5 months for us to dial in the correct dose. We also added .5 mg of anastrazole a week and I feel I now am good to go! But it’s not a miracle worker and most of us aren’t lucky enough to start off with the perfect dose. I like that, I wish you all the very best and other men whom are thinking of looking into / starting THT. Good job 👍😊
You know the medical system is beyond broken when its easier to get prescribed testosterone if youre a child who thinks theyre a different sex than a grown man who has low T and actually needs it. Its disgusting. Im really happy for you my friend. I just started my own trt and am hoping it helps with the symptoms I have myself, some of which you described. Thabk you for all this info!
Or it’s easier to get prescribed something like ozempic which depletes you of nutrients and makes you a frail man.
Yeah pretty sure hormone replacement for trans therapy isn’t easier to get. Where do people come up with this stuff?
You just made that up didn't you..
What's your experience with gender identity clinics and protocols? Fox News? Twitter?
Love your story, Noah. Been watching and following in the shadows forever. Keep it up!
I really apprecaited your video. Your honesty and vulernability is really refreshing.
I went the opposite way you did, but it was no less awful. As my test lowered I didn't become depressed, I became anxious and irritable. I became a miserable person to be around because all I did was worry, complain and criticize. TRT made me able to relax, breathe and, finally, able to socialize effectively and maintain positive relationships. Man, everyone is different, but no one can deny the importance of these hormones.
I am assuming you are younger if you are not no disrespect but your comment really made me think. This is how I have felt for some years now I am never in a good mood I am irritable angry and have panic attacks. I am now 73 years old I know that is up there in age but this is not who I am or who I want to be.
I’m glad I found this. I would love to share my story and understand your journey more.

Thanks mate, Im 60 and depression" has ruined my life. Im about to start TRT so thanks for your inspirational vid.
Have you started yet?
I had blood test in December 2016, was at 600 T . Felt ok, motivated could push myself at work and the gym. December 2017 I tested at 545, still felt “normal”(I know T fluctuates and these tests aren’t exact measurements of all test). Started having issues in 2019 with my mental health, energy, motivation and in the bedroom. Just turned 50 had my blood work done, I was at 401. Yeah I’ve felt like crap for the last 3-4 years. I got therapy, that helped a lot with anxiety/depression. Probably been on a steady decline of T for a long time(normal for aging?), I have to think issues I have is related to T. Some people are fine with my level but we are all designed differently and probably operate optimally at different levels. I’m considering TRT, just to feel better, work out better, just be able to handle working at my job for 15 more years! At this point I don’t feel like I can make it working 15 more years. Went from working full time with 3 side businesses to feeling like I can barely handle my one day job(had to let go of the side businesses, not enough mental or physical energy.)
At 52 got my level up to 500 using dhea.. started trt shortly after. It made a big initial difference in healing my shoulder and some other issues maybe from the increased vascularization.. I really only "felt" good at about 1500...which is high enough it was increasing my blood pressure etc..I totally dropped it in February this year and feel ok. Recovery slowed a bit and certainly need more sleep, but I sleep better... I'll probably get back on in the fall.. to be sure it's not a cure all and if you're not super responsive at lower doses there can be some health issues that accompany it
The only way you can get on TRT legitimately is if your levels are at 200-300. If you were in the military like myself and use the VA then you have to be below 200 I believe. But good luck. My levels were at 45 whenever I got tested. I’ve been on TRT since October and it’s been life changing! I used to be depressed and have anxiety and all that is gone now. I also used to take medication but no more. I have only had my levels tested 1 time since and that was in January 2024 and my levels raised to 110. I think now my levels have to be between 200-350 if I had to guess. But I do plan on get them tested again in the next few weeks.
I would tell anyone reading this that if you lay in the bed all the time with crippling depression like myself and sleep all the time. Then please consider it. I was in bed for 3 years not knowing what was wrong with me until someone suggested me to get my levels checked. I hope this helps someone going through the same thing I was going through.

I'm 40 and just now finding that I have extremely low T. I hypothesize that it has been low most of my life but was never tested until I finally asked the doctor to check it. My first test came back at 130, and then they started me on topical. After 8 months of that, my next blood test came back at 55. I just now started injections, and I'm taking 100ml once a week. Praying that this works out as all other blood work has come back good, and they can't seem to find any specific reason as to why my T is so low.

I'm going on 38 next month and I had a friend tell me to get my levels checked. I find out in 2 days. I just want to say thank you for coming out with what u done and didn't do. Gave me alot of things to understand what can happen
Noah, I have been watching your journey for at least 10 years, dealing with incompetent physicians (400mg in one dose, GASP!), but eventually educating yourself how to do TRT correctly, and now, just look at you! Lean, ripped, muscular, and finally in control of yourself and your eating and drinking problems. Even your chest hair seems mapped to emphasize your abs and tapered physique. I am so happy that you got it all figured out, and can now "be all that you can be" without having to join the Army. LOL Congratulations.
400mg is my trt dose and I feel great
@@bawseeeee602, do you take one shot a week or split dosages?
Isn't trt addictive and you need it for life or else
It's not good because your body forgets how to make it's own.Correct?
@@susanlilley6918 Presumably your body had already stopped producing adequate levels of testosterone, which is why you needed TRT. There are many reasons why free-testosterone levels may be inadequate, but when it is, you need to provide it exogenously by upping total-testosterone until the level of free-T is adequate to eliminate the side effects of low-T.
Thank you! So happy for you that you are healthy and doing so well! I am just beginning the journey and I am grateful for the information that you shared. 😊 Jeff
Wish i knew to allways run HCG with TRT. What a game changer...
100 iu, every day. That’s how you successfully run hcg with no side effects. Assuming vitamins and adequate T dose along side.
Or supplement with pregnenolone and or dhea.
@@dansmith9724Those had no effect on me at all, HCG is superior as it increases many other pathways aswell.
@@dansmith9724 thoose are real hard to dial in. Id rather have my body produce them in its natural ratios with hcg.
Thank you, many people Don’t realize TRT can help a great deal with depression and some
0:27 I started squinting 😑 thinking my vision was going bad 😅
Same😂
And I was reading this comment right before it😂
I’m 39. Been struggling with symptoms for a while. Finally got tested and my level was 290. I start TRT today when it arrives from UPS. Thank you so much for this video. I’m worried about the hunger. I’m down to 275 from 350 from intermittent fasting. Looking forward to checking out your other vids!
How are things going? My number is around the same yours was.
Funny how a man would get shammed for trt. But let a trans do hrt and theyre considered heroic.
Funny how a doctor will tell a man no if asked to take test but have a 11 yr old girl ask and the government will pay and no one would dare tell the parents
The beard abs and chest/ ab hair are on point my guy 😮💨
How did your chest tattoo switch sides like that?
Magic 🤯😜
..Steroids
@@bignoknowhey brother can I send you my testosterone blood test. I got them down and haven’t been able to get an answer back from Dr and what’s up and I don’t really trust that he knows much about that topic. I’ve been really down lately mood wise.
Please lmk if I can email you
Someone took a picture then he took a picture in the mirror ..not rocket science 🤦♂️
Just found you and some of the things you identify here are exactly what im going through, thanks for sharing!
Ive been on/off anti depressants for around 5 years and have tested testosterone privately throughout this period, always very low but i didnt want to jump on the TRT train too soon or at all as it felt morally wrong somehow (my warped perception at the time).
Now on Test cream 5 months after having a second breakdown of sorts and now off the anti-depressants which has left me feeling mildly better but I also realise i need to up my exercise to daily workouts not because i want to be fitter/bigger necessarily as im happy with where im at...but because it quiets my busy mind somehow.
100% being on TRT doesn't mean you'll end up in amazing shape quickly. Nor, in my albeit short experience so far, am i waking up feeling like an Avenger(!) but definitely a few percent better which I'll take versus where i was before :)
Maybe things will improve further but we will see. Thanks again, im subscribed.
I went from the once a week 140, which was too much too soon. Dropped to 120 and slowly went up to 150 without sides. Then split 2x week shallow IM for a while at 150 but didn't feel as well as I felt I should. Then moved up to 200 split 3x sub q. I feel good at this level but think 2x week was best so I'm going to move back to that at 200 and see if that's good or if I need to adjust down a bit. It takes time to level out and see how a change makes you feel and how your blood work looks.
yea everyone is different, some of us need a higher or lower dosage.
How long have you been on?

love it brother, thank you for the honest heartfealt breakdown of what is actually required, at 25 i discovered the same thing, low t was the piece of the puzzle, but lifting 3 plates looking good and feeling good was only 1/3rd of the total idea, i didnt address my drinking problem, nor my diet. now im back to square one of detox restart, rebuild
I’m with you all the way. We got this
What sort of natural level would YOU consider worth considering TRT. Mine goes from 325 to 550 which is "normal", but far from ideal. A buddy was at 550 and pumped it up to 900 and says he feels SO much better. He does a tiny amount with an insulin syringe every other day.
300's you should get on TRT. 300 is low but doctors will tell you it's normal and it's not. 600-900 levels are great.
It comes down to two things - free testosterone and symptoms. If your free testosterone is significantly below 10 ng/dl, then you’re more likely to benefit from therapy. The other question is, do you even have symptoms to begin with? I’d look at anxiety, depression, sleep quality, sexual dysfunction, insulin sensitivity, bone density and ability to put on muscle. Good doctors will look at both testosterone numbers (free and total) and symptoms to determine the likelihood that you will benefit from treatment. Granted, there are clinics that will give TRT to every guy who walks through the door - just educate yourself on the potential risks and benefits.
@@FreedomFox1 Since 2014, with 1 outlier high and low, I've typically been mid 400's total and about 8 ng/dl free. Moderate symptoms....mostly just kind of anhedonic and unmotivated, plus difficulty losing weight. I'm probably an edge case, which is frustrating because the choice is less clear.
300 is " normal for a 95 year old man. That's like saying 75/20 vision is "normal". Doctors need to treat the patient, not a number.
I also got tested and was in the low 300’s at age 34 doctor said i was normal and didn’t recommend anything. 36 now guess ill go push for it again.
Great video, very helpful. Thanks for sharing 🤜🏽🤛🏽💪🏾
Do you use or have you used HCG?
There was a video Noah was supposed to go on hcg with his previous doctor , but for whatever reason, he never made a follow up video after that, which makes me believe he decided not to go on hcg at all and seeing how he never responded to your comment means this is most likely the case .
With everything that’s effecting our hormones it’s no wonder so many man are looking toward trt. Iv been on it for 2 years now and it’s an absolute game changer. Biggest notice was my mood after work, normally I’d be grumpy, tired and fed up. Not long after started I was a different person. It’s also helped with my join paint and energy levels. Iv never looked back but I’d highly recommend you explore all avenues before jumping on the merry go round because when you’re in you pretty much can’t leave. It’s a big commitment
Seems like you got your shit together by now buddy way to go
That's certainly someone who's got their shit together yes.
42 seconds into the video and you’ve already described my EXACT situation 100% to the minute details since I was 26.
My trt is 500mg tren E per week, feel great
Lol
I wanted to comment before you mentioned 150 and ask what range you were at , but I waited to see if you'd say. Either way, I have to say, you are super calm and knowledgable. So shocking you have old video footage of your early days. That's amazing. The fact you cover mental health is such a bonus. I haven't finished the video, but I knew within 30 seconds you were the right person to speak on this. Congrats on finding a piece to the puzzle.
hey. It is obvious you are smart guy so i try to ask something openly.
Today we know testosterone fluctuate. If you are depressed, testo is low. If you are malnourished, testo is low. If you are overtrained, testo is low.
All can be fixed naturally very fast. We see it everyday. For guys who go to carnivore diet, they ususally tripled their testo on 6 months.
Have you ever reconsider if TRT is neccessery when your life is totally different now? (or TRT destroyed testicles already?)
Carnivore did nothing to my low levels, there are so many more contributing factors that you are unaware of.
Thank you Noah, I’m thinking about starting my journey and this is pushing me towards that. You’re a God-send bro. Might have to hit you up on setmore.
Hormones are a powerful thing!
You said something that really resonates with me though as a trans woman being on HRT. At the beginning of my journey well over a decade ago, expecting the regulation of your hormones to just fix everything (for you with testosterone, myself estrogen). You really do need to put in your own effort and understand it’s an aid to help become your best self not some magic fix. As I’m in my 30s now and have dealt with health issues the past few years I’ve been making a solid effort to really listen to my body.
Hi
Does estrogen make you feel any different to testosterone?
Like did you develop any immune system effects?
I read that testosterone is anti-inflammatory but estrogen promotes inflammation apparently.
I developed low T and it messed with my immune system.
@@jacoblas1371 it’s funny you ask, because as far as inflammation goes I actually was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease in 2022. I can’t for sure say if estrogen played a part though as I have my hormone levels constantly monitored and it is also quite likely hereditary as IBD does run in my family. That being said having more estrogen in my system could have definitely triggered it. Lucky for me everything is now under control and I feel physically and mentally amazing!
As far as feeling different with higher estrogen versus higher testosterone it definitely changed physical characteristics like softening skin, and growth of breast tissue. As well I’m more in tune with my emotions and my sex drive is different.
This video brought a tear to my eye thank you so much for this video honestly you've kind of described the way I feel right now and I've only just started and it's given me hope thank you so much
He lost so much fat that his tattoo moved to his other shoulder!
Thank you Noah, this has been the most valuable breakdown of a TRT journey, for me at least. I haven't started T yet but I am booked in for my second blood test here in UK pursuant to actually starting. I will remember you tips, especially about the eating as I already pack it away especially when I am feeling this horrible low-energy existence. You look amazing and healthy, well done mate.
same here , juist waiting for the finger prick test to come back , my test levels came at 4.8nmol which is crazzzzyyyy low! ive always been a gym goer but recently been so sluggish and got tested , and was like damnnnnn! good thing about uk now is that we have dedicated clinics where as before this did not exist.
There's no need to inject this way anymore. I've been on TRT for a few years and been doing only sub q
I started in 2013 and remember your videos from back then! Glad to see you are doing well.
Really useful insight mate, and glad you’re doing well
Thanks for the info on this. I just started my therapy this week. It's something I had to do a ton of research on to convince me that I needed it. You talked about doing trt for the right reasons. As a guy that was diagnosed with ckd 2 years ago the gym has become a part of my life. With that being said my wife who is on HRT herself asked what my true motives were. I had to think long and hard about that. Longevity, and quality of life is what I landed on. I guess what I am trying to say is to anyone who is seriously thinking about doing this make sure you do your own research and be fully committed. It's not a miracle shot instead It's there to help you.
Thank you for the content. You hit the nail on the head. Looking forward to future videos
I’ve watched your videos for several years and man your addictions and hang ups really control and define your life.
Wow what an insightful, knowledgeable, informative Video👍❤️ you recorded your self way back then its very incredible. I have learn so much Thank you
Really nice to see you now and how f**** good looking you are. 👍🏾
Nice beard by the way.
I remember watching you back then. Was wondering where you've been, and here you are. I've had major depression and panic disorder for years. I've been on Escitalopram for about 6 years. It's helped with panic and some depression symptoms, but has blunted me significantly.
I just had my test checked a couple weeks ago and it was 85! I just started TRT about a week ago, and I'm hoping it helps. I'm on the gel. I'd love to talk more if you ever find time. Thanks!
I'll be 38 next month btw
@@j-stilt9746 How are you feeling now?
@nicholask8657 I'm feeling a lot better thanks. I switched to injections two months ago and my testosterone was 704 last it was checked. I also went from 20mg to 10mg on the Lexapro.
I start my journey in a couple weeks. Starting in the low 130s. I’ll be 44 this summer. I really don’t know what to expect but I hope that it’s life changing. This video was very helpful and gave a lot of great insight, thank you!
How long before you noticed any change? What was the first thing you noticed, and how much per week do you take, and what kind? Lol
My story is very similar to yours. I have been gradually feeling "off" over the past few years. In February, I went to get hormone panels and my number was 413 ng/dl(Doc said it was fine). I decided then to control my diet, sleep, and workout 3x per week. (weight training) After 3.5 months of training, I went to get a 2nd opinion hoping my levels were up. I was wrong, they were sitting at 300 ng/dl. I started my TRT journey 2 weeks ago with 80 mg 2x per week and will be taking sermorelin every day for a while too for natural GH production. I'm very hopeful now that there's so much information on the subject. Hopefully more men become aware of this and get the treatment they need.
