    Trt changed my life. After covid the stress of running my company became unbearable. Anxiety attacks, severe depression, massive weight gain, living in a constant state of fight or flight, and not sleeping made it impossible for me mentally to do the things i knew would help me like fixing my diet and going to the gym. It took me 6 months on trt to get control of my life again.

    Unfortunately, there are many medical doctors around the world that don't believe TRT is a need for some men's health. I only did my first testosterone examen at 54 years old, with all symptoms of hypogonadism: weakness, fatigue, loss of energy, sarcopenia, osteopenia, low libido, erectile dysfunction. The urologist said my testosterone was low but "normal", and did nothing at all about it. I have to wait more than nine years to find a medical doctors who accepted to treat my hypogonadism and finally to start TRT.

    Hey DR. Kocsis, could you please develop in another video the idea of testosterone optimization. Paracelse said that "the dose makes the poison" - "Sola dosis facit venenum" -. I'm on TRT but in my opinion the dose is not adjusted yet: it is too low, I still have many of the symptoms I had before start the treatment. As physicians are always afraid of testosterone they generally prescribe very low doses in TRT making the therapy inefficient. I think that the concept of testosterone optimization would be a game changing shift in this mentality.

    I wish I knew what my T levels were as a young man so I could dial in to that level with trt. I was over dosed for a year before I found my natural level. That year was hell with high estradiol, rbc,hgb, and hct.

    • @TheJacklwilliams
      @TheJacklwilliams Місяць тому +1

      I’m just beginning my journey on this at 59. Your statement of high estradiol, rbc, hgb, hct is intriguing to me in that I have no idea what being high on these things does? What were your symptoms as a result of that? I’m 11 weeks in at this point and so far I feel great. The only side effects I see so far is an increase in acne which I really haven’t had since my 20’s when that dissapeared…

    • @balancemyhormones

    What I realised while trying to find a physician to prescribe TRT for me is that there are still many misconceptions about testosterone, some physicians just fear testosterone. Most physicians think of testosterone as a kind of poison which eventually will kill you with a heart attack, a brain stroke or a prostate cancer. For those physicians, TRT should be avoided at all costs and a man should be glad that his testosterone is low.

      Testosterone improves the quality of life and some studies show an improvement in telomere length. The better question is how does testosterone improve health span and sex span and rhe answer is very well.

    Testosterone heals!!! Over a decade ago I was in a car accident and the head injury from it tore my retina so I only had peripheral vision no center vision. After seeing a specialist and discussing surgery I continued with the cycle I had just began and much to my surprise 500mlg of test a week actually healed the eye and I didn't need surgery..

    Because they probably work out their whole life and now they’re on TRT now and everything is magnified, any person that works out consistently on TRT will put on 10 to 15 pounds of muscle pastor genetic potential.

    • @balancemyhormones
      @balancemyhormones  29 днів тому +1

      You're absolutely right! Consistent training combined with TRT can indeed lead to impressive muscle gains, especially for those who have dedicated their lives to fitness.

    but what actually happens when a men stop his HRT ? do they die or just go back to low numbers ?

    • @balancemyhormones
      @balancemyhormones  22 дні тому

      When men stop HRT, they typically experience a return to their baseline testosterone levels. It’s important to consult a doctor for personalised advice on how to manage the transition.

    How come all these guys are bigger than normal gym goers (well not all) if they are just on TRT, lol.

    • @Jdac333
      @Jdac333 Місяць тому

      Most gym goers won’t be top 1/3 of the natural reference range or slightly more.

      It's interesting to see how TRT can impact muscle growth and recovery, but genetics and training also play a huge role in physique. Each person's journey is unique.
