Just went to the bank and purchased some penny's...... a dollars worth please(Lol)...I've been going through our Deer park water containers full of change for the last 3 months nothing spectacular in about $300 worth of various coins only a few die cracks ...this hobby is not for the quick change artist you really have to stick with it and listen to Justin to help guide the rookies :)

Find a gram scale. If your penny weighs 2.5 grams it is zinc. Aluminum would be a fake. In your address bar type in what you have in coins. You will find answers.

I went thru some and the majority are 1970's. But there are some in coffee cans that look really old. I've been saving 99.9% of my change for about 7 years now. Tons of quarters. I have some that I would love someone to look at but truthfully I dont trust anyone and I cant afford to get it graded. And cant afford a nice microscope like you are selling. Any suggestions?
