Have a 1964 silver quarter. It has a few characteristics that caught my eye when it was given to me from a gas station. First was the feel of it. It was heavier and thicker than normal especially along one edge. The opposing edge is more like a normal coin. Also the outer edge has very defined cuts, almost sharp. The 2nd thing which caught my eye was how shiny and clean it looks. It couldn't have been in use long as pocket change. One very small, short, thin, light scratch is the only mark on it.
Wrapped it in a zip lock then tucked it away. Have had it almost 2 years not sure what to do with it, if anything. Just never saw any coin like it and wanted to preserve it. Maybe it'd be worth more than
    $.25?

My first coin was a 1913 two and a half "dollar gold piece" size of a dime and I was 5 years old..🍒 from there the gold and the silver kept piling up.. a friend of mine his father was a bank manager in San Francisco Bank.. I got 12-- 1922" Morgan Silver Dollar's uncirculated when I got them they were in like an egg carton material, I thought I was buying a dozen of eggs he said they came that way..Also a 150 Lb.. burlap bag with a Black Stamp on the front he also said they came to the bank like that uncirculated 1973-S..I never opened them to this day..Got them in 1976.. I also have a solid steel safe 5 foot tall even if you had a block of C-4 explosives it would not open or more..😏💣💥💪💣💨🧔

Found a three legged buff in a bag of 1000 labeled cull that had passed through at least 4 major dealers ( 40+ years exp) before it got to me ( at 10 years exp )
It was the most banged up red nasty crusty thing you've ever seen! I see why no one else cared to look at it closer. I realized a nice value even in the beat up grade it was in.
I find the main fallacy collectors / hunters hold is in giving up before even trying, it is in the thought process of "well if it was worth any value another would've surely found it by now "
Never give up- These beautiful specimens can really still be found by you! 🙂

I recently found a 1976-P Washington bicentennial quarter which might be a mint planchette error because it weighs in at 5.86 grams, I posted my e-bay listing of it in a previous comment on here, if anyone is interested please let me know, blessings!

I have a kind of odd quarter ,1967 the face is clean and show normal wear and double stamped , on the back of coin looks correct at first sight but when you look close the coin has 3 stamped rings cut into the tops of the letters on the top of coin around the edge of the inner coin, and if look close you see the same rings cut into the bottom of the wording (quarter dollar) , if you look before & after the words quarter dollar you can see the rings cut into the surface of the coin's back ground . this could only be cut in the stamping sequence of the coin, if the lines of the rings only showed up on the letters I would think they could have been made after minting .. but the lines cut into the surface of the back ground clearly show the rings were stamped into the blank and then stamped 2 or 3 times over top of each stamping till the coin look correct , the most outer ring is about 1/8 of a inch in side of the normal outer edge ring of a normal quarter ...a odd error ,rare yes ...on both sides of one coin ...I am not a collector but I don't know how they could make a coin like this . clearly stamped twice on the front and stamped 2 or 3 times on the back of the coin ...any over sight would be great ,, thank you

I loved this video, as it has a 1955 quarter. I found one in almost perfect condition. I had it in my pocket at work when trying to buy a Pepsi out of the machine, the machine would not take it so i kept trying it. I stopped to take a closer look at it, then I ran down the hall screaming. !LOL!

Hi CW; Maybe you can answer a question for me. Back the California gold rush was happening one of the ways people were being ripped off was to take a V-Nickel and plate it in gold, and than pass it off buying something small to get the change back on what gold was going for then.My question is,I have one of these coins and most of whatever they used for Gold is still on this coin,Do you have any idea if this thing is worth money or just a good piece of history and a conversation piece? Thank You.Ohh by the way I collect currency too.I have some horse blankets I might want to sell and need to know the best way to go about doing that. Thanks again...

who in their right mind wouldn't want to subscribe?.. we are here to learn about what we have an interest in.. otherwise, we would be watching cat videos. or treasure hunting videos.. how else we going to get the good stuff buying it? unfortunately, that takes money too.. takes money to get money... getting deep.. coming to quarters from pennies.. but what the hell let's all have some fun.. i im 65 magnifiers work and all but a little bigger is better for old guy eyes,, young uns to small fingers an all more real estate to hold on to .. and enough to learn.. guess getting a job as a bank teller would work. but.. that would be like letting Dracula inspect the blood bank.. fun videos... great job you can see your pashion collecting.

A lot of those will be going into my Granddaughters collection.... She is 8 right now and when she gets to be a good ripe old age she can sell or pass them down to her kids and Grandkids ........
Quite a few are going to be in GAW's along with the halves and the dimes in the near and not so near future to help boost my channel..... I hope to inspire young and upcoming Numismatics to stay with it ...... I have buy them slowly as my income is only 750.00 dollars per month... It's hard for me and my wife to live on that.... I have put so much into the SSA working since I was of legal age to get such a low amount that I get now....... Oh well I get what I can take and not complain ~!~!
Thanx for watching my video Mon Ami ~!~!

I do have a 1950 quarter I found building a retaining wall.Funny thing is, all the homes where i was were built in the late 40's. I always think some guy named "Arch" was bldg this home, dropped the coin, and left for the day in his 1939 Packard. Times were tough back then and a quarter bought quite a bit. I gotta check the mint on it.
