I had a double die 1955 about 12 yrs ago rolling change to take to the bank..I remember looking at it saying how cool it was... but unfortunately I didn't start learning and getting into collecting until a few months later when it was way too late...I hope it found its way to someone who appreciated it!!
Just think about what I did. I had a crown royal full of those silver-colored pennies and sold them to the coin shop for 40$. Imagine how sad I was. Now I'm into collecting coins. So sad bout it.
@@susiesunshynewelch974 I had lots of coins and not knowing the value of them. I sold them to the pawnshop he gave me 25 dollars. I remember have silver quarters, nickel and a silver old penny and some one cent dated 1909 and up. Wow I'm kicking myself right now.
Glad to provide it! I figured it would be fun to have a really comprehensive list and not waste people's time - though I was planning on doing some smaller, more focused videos (like Top 10 Wheat Pennies) or that sort of thing!

@diegudr, The;1974 aluminum penny was from a father who worked at a mint to a son. A few coins may have been accidental,, but the majority of error coins that got into circulation were probably deliberate.
Thank you for the informative, succinct video! You must know it’s immensely appreciated as most others drag their heels meandering, speaking without a sense of purpose or intent. So thank you! Plus, a lot of other videos just show like 10 or 15 of the same pennies everyone has seen a gagillion times over; thank you for the new, less common ones! Much appreciated!

Back in the early 90s I found a full full adult hand full of old pennies in my grandma's old silver and porcelain coffee pot and I ask if I could have them because I had seen the wheat penny at that point I had never seen one and I was captivated on it well there was 5 other pennies in there , out of the 5 pennies 3 of them had different dates 1943 , 1944 and 1945 or 1942 and what's weird is I remember this happening like it was yesterday enough to remember that I absolutely know there was 3 different dates but don't remember the 3 date because of my memory paying more attention to seeing doubles of 1 of the dates or even 2 dates ether or if that makes sense, but these were the steel pennies but I remember seeing 3 dates, asking my grandma why in the heck are these silver colored, and of she gave me a brief rundown not really letting her finish before I went and contemplating licking my new pennies and adding them to my collection lol not literally licking them just expressing how I was captivated that much more seeing them not having a copper color, , I added them in with the 2 Lincoln pennies I had found in an abandoned house with Nixon's side siluette stamped into them, we didn't have the Internet care back then, ok sorry for the jokes, in all seriousness I do remember 3 different dates, and of course not long after a few years my whole coin collection got stolen out of my 59 Ford panel, my grandma had been working on my collection my whole life and before, it's just sad people take what doesn't belong to them, my grandma did this for all of us bless her life RIP but yah that my story sorry so long 😢

I hold that 1944 in pristine condition. Mint sent it with a bag wheat cents I bought. I never considered it could be a dime planchet. It’s so silver.
Wow you doing such a good job you're much better than all the other UA-camrs that doing the same thing
