Your vids are a God send for the CE1 wagon owners haha I just picked up a '94 EX that needed a head gasket & fuel pump. Come to find out...it's been sitting for 10 yrs bc of misdiagnosed problems. A fuel pump, tank & ECU later it's super close to starting. There's a leak in the fuel line & it probably has a clogged filter.. Your fuel pump vid & now this one are definitely coming in handy! Thank you for your service brother

Thank you for the compliments. That's wonderful to hear the videos are helping :D Glad to see you were able to find your '94. If you ever have any questions or an idea for a video to do let me know. I have rear brake shoes/hardware on the way for my wagon. I also need to put my rear struts in as well so I may be recording that soon.

I do like the use of OEM Honda parts on another old Honda haha. I am curious why you did not buy new parts compared to hunting down these junked parts. Also why did you not mount it closer to the brake master cylinder on the driver's side? Clearance issues? It is about time somebody posted a video and how-to about this topic, I thought I would have to do it myself...

Glad you liked it. Alot of stuff like the fuel hose assemblies are discontinued or way too expensive new. So the junked parts I actually had around from switching out parts in the past on the Civics we have. If I ever went and pulled like most of a fuel system I just grabbed everything and what was extra from changing out parts I put up for later. I have a barrel and a couple shelves that I label and store Honda, Chevy, and small engine parts in for future use. I've been avoiding going into public for quite some time so these extras come in handy for projects like this. Gives me a way I can still build and make parts without having to go get them. Also good from a recycling aspect. As for why I didn't mount the fuel filter closer to the master cylinder, yes clearance issues big time, followed by back in 2019 I bought my first 94 Accord Sedan and within the first month of owning it a chick in a BMW SUV ran a stop sign and I was in a 45 mph head on collision with the side of her suv. When that happened I got to see where the damage was inflicted and where NOT to put things on the next one I was going to own. For safety and convenience on this wagon I instead installed the fuel filter in the area that Civics and CRVs normally had their fuel filters. It also gives me room to use 3 different types of fuel filters now. Early 90s Civic horizontal, 94-2000 Civic/CRV/Accord vertical, and Nissan clamp style filters. If I installed it by the master cylinder it would burst and spray everywhere waiting to catch on fire in event of an accident. It's a bit guarded where it is now. Thanks for commenting and good questions, I hope this helps you and others trying to engineer a new fuel system.
