There aren't many dawless setups I actually want to listen to. This guy and Fjaak are great. I just think calling it dawless is funny. It's basically DJ-ing with Octatracks instead of CDJs, and if anything is an "audio workstation" it's an Octatrack. There's not even a delay or reverb on the Aux1/Aux2 - everything's in the Octatrack. Which is fine. That's usually how you have to do it. Especially on the Model 1, which I love, but if you just start plugging synths into it it feels limited by the single resonant master filter. And that's a good reason to get a couple Zen Delays or Acid Boxes. But you don't need them here because he's taking loops of tracks out of a DAW and putting them in the Octatracks.
