Nothing makes my day like 79th Productions fixing a low buck vehicle. 💪
Idk why but Justin's are my favorite automotive youtube videos
@@soappy1720Probably because you, like many of us, appreciate a to the point, no frills, heavy production fiasco. Just good old elbow grease and grit.
@@omni201I love low production low dollar project builds because it feels like real life and not a disney set
These videos are always satisfying 😌
@@ruskibruski Yes sir, I agree 100%
If 79th says something is hard work I believe it!!!
Right
Kudos for tackling this job bro...a lot more to it than a honda considering you had very little room too lol good deal man, much respect
Man if I lived there I would have helped you out.
Same here. I am literally doing this to my Avalanche.....
PS. CJ was not having it 😂
Billy look like he builds GTR engines for Nissan 🔥
Very cool he was willing to do a trade plus cash on the trans rebuild! Up here in Maryland, you just don't find deals like that! Keep the family vehicle basic and running. Keep up the great work.
Billy is a great friend. Congrats on getting this fixed
That 5 extension ratchet is some insanity. And unbolting the oil pan full of fluid. Y’all r wild !!
This channel really inspired me and made me confident enough to buy my own project car and I’ve replaced just about everything in it
starlight headliner and a couple 12’s for the road trip!!
Much Respect👈🏾You taking Care of your Family. The Lord will make A Way.💯🤔
Awesome man . I’m so glad you were able to fix it . That a blessing for you and the family for that price . God is great always .⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ shout-out to your friends for helping.
Hell yea man. This was an exciting ass video. The first video was awesome too. Great to see the job's done. 💯
You're a hero to us poors! IT's so cool seeing someone getting stuff done cheap!
250k miles that’s a lot !! God bless man thank you for showing us we can do this stuff 👊💪💪
You are the man was already impressed but when u said trans cooler and I saw the size very impressed u did right by this truck 💪
yeah buddy been waiting for the suburban, love the bluecollar projects before channels blow up, this the real content!
Suburban, the best vehicle?I love it.I bought 2013 From the auction Get only 9000 miles. Beautiful I love it To enjoy it you'r Suburban Make sure all your shock is good Bull joint Control arm Rock pinion Bushing it's good
Glad to see you "got 'er done"! Looks like a great deal!
We need more videos for that’s big truck ❤
Good job man I'm glad everything worked out as far as mods I'll say only wheels, tires and a good detailing that's it 👍🏾
That makes the odyssey a dream car. Nice progress
Love your videos man!! Been watching for years!
Great video man keep it up, i can tell it took a lot of work and just being positive and trusting the process is key!
Shoutouts Billy
Being overweight makes the job 2 times harder. I know from experience.
especially when you have no muscles either lol standing and crouching in weird positions makes you super sore the next day
As a former 400+ pound dude (now 240lb) you aren't lying man. Wrenching was brutal.
Not to mention the excess sweating, makes it even harder😢
Man, I am in the gym 4 nights a week because of this....6'4 300 plus is a haul
Facts lol
Had to subscribe; Love this DIY and format man, good luck with this tank!
That looked like a big job. You got it done!
Keep it stock, as you said its for the family. The most I would do is put some nice wheels on it...
Great video Justin slap some 24" wheels on it .
And lower it
Great work man! I say leave the stock wheels and keep the stock ride height. Looks like a beautiful truck as it sits 😊
Shout out to Billy!
Another great video, keep it up man.
Nice I'd love to come and see it sometime I'm in the South Carolina area
Same here! I'm in Columbia and always in Greer and Greenville at the salvage yards
@@titanjake8640 okay cool I'm not far from you I'm right outside of Columbia
Great job bro
Event it much work but it rewarding experience... family came first, project can make it later
I would love to see new comfort shocks/ struts and better brake pads and rotors
Excellent job.
well done, you are treating the suburban very nice, hope it returns the favour. I like all kinds of mods (e.g. the starlight headliner I saw in other comments, or maybe some beter head unit and speakers) but lowering would not be one of them
the very best of ALLAHS(GODS) blessings to you and your family, STAY AWESOME BROTHER !!
Small lift some all terrain tires and with some 12 wide wheels tins and a sound system and u good to go
I notice that transmission scissor jack! You know Harbor Freight sells electric impact drivers, Bauer & Hercules...
Show the process of rebuilding the transmission
With all that work u should of done the o ring for the oil pump also considering what the oil pressure on the dash looks like
Already ordered one. I will make a video
Such a blessing man........
Sidenote are you available to paint anytime soon???
I have been really busy
@@79thproductions I understand my friend. Please keep up the good work!! Just let us know when you have some time. There is no rush. I can just leave my vehicle with you. It is a spare. God Bless you man from Columbia SC!!
Man i just sold my 6l80 transmission. I told ya i had it for ya if you needed it. I am literally installing a new one in my Avalanche.
All you had to do is take the TECHM aka the computer out of the transmission and put it in your new transmission. You wont need too much of a tune. That 40k cooler is the truth!! I installed it too and my temps will not rise above 150 on a 88 degree day.
Honestly i would go to LKQ in greer and get one out of a 6.0l Denali and get another TC. Rebuilding is a waste. Take it from me!!!
Let's go Justin
Definitely put some wheels on it
This sounds like my 2012 4.8 Silverado 😂
I waiting for engine video 😊
I'm so worried about your health, man. Please get on a healthy protein + leafy salads diet in order to lose some weight and put less pressure on your cardiovascular system. You're a world treasure and must be preserved!
I always wondered what GM has against putting a drain plug on their transmissions.
@2:04 all that fluid already been got dumped out lol
I really hope your trans is rebuilt right, it's very hard to trust people nowadays 👍
1,500 miles on it, and it's doing fine so far.
@@79thproductions great 👍
i wanna see more
I got a 2004 Tahoe I put a transmission in the crossmember fell on my face while the truck was in the air
I almost broke my finger pulling the exhaust off. Always be careful, things happen. Are you ok?
Hello
What is d.o.d. ?
and please restore and detail it
Man ill tell you right now...if 79th says its a hard job or not easy you better believe it wasnt easy.
You could have just checked and flushed the Radiator at radiator shop like $24
The transmission guy didnt even want to talk. Awful !
He was talking to me all day. He said that he is camera shy. Some people do not do well with cameras. He even came to my house to help me seat the torque converter. I would definitely go to him again.
A junk yard transmission wasn't an option?
No, they were too expensive for what they were. 180,000 miles for $1,300. I would of rather had it rebuilt and have the warranty
limpiastes las linas de rayador
I wasnt feeling homeboys energy.
Invest in a Tru Cool 40K Transmission Cooler, Bro. Thank me later.
That's what I bought
Get new wheels!!
i got tired just by watching you do it...
