Yep. True. I don’t mean insult. Because a human body have muscles and fat like body armor that allow take minimal damage. But boxer’s head still be vulnerable for punch to knock out.

He never left anything in the ring he fought in, and every fight was a highlight. I haven't met anyone yet who said they didn't like watching one of his boughts.
Every six months or so, another big UA-camr puts out a video about Butterbean, and it feels like I am legally obligated to watch it. Love me some Butterbean.
Excellent video about the great Butterbean. Weight matters people, when I was 14 years old and reached my top height 5'11" which wasn't near the tallest guys from the basketball team. However, I weighted 220 pounds of pure muscle and a bit of fat. I started lifting weight at Age 14 and practiced martial arts and basketball so I didn't lose flexibility and speed. Nobody messed with me at school after 2 quick fights with taller and older guys. Went to college, I weighted 280 pounds and once during my freshman year, members of the basketball team tried to bully me because I went out with basket team member girlfriend. They threatened me by telling me I had to let guy punch me without retaliate or else all of them will attack me together. I did let guy punched me with an open hand once and when I hit him in the face he went to the floor so fast, he was also kind of drunk and fight was over, he started crying when saw blood in his mouth, sadly I had to run like a chicken escaping of basket team members and next day I challenged rest of basket team members in a 1v1 and none of them accepted my challenge. Nobody else messed with me the next 4 years until graduation
"Irritated, as he'd been served a salad". That was good down to earth prose. This Butterbean fellow seems like an honest sort. He will not get carried away and won't keep punching a man on his way down. I respect that.
I remember watching that DDP series about Butterbean, and I'll happily admit that it brought many tears to my eyes. The way DDP and Butterbean worked to turn his life around was amazing.
I don’t care if this man has exposure to high level boxing or MMA from a young age he’s one of the goats. The guy was a natural something special, a true fighter in all sense of the word. And his comeback from obesity and death’s doors is another testament to his spirit
Omg dude he never fought a full fight n woukdnt last 30 seconds against Tyson. Larry holmes was the only pro he fought but he was 53. He certainly had the punchers chance every match though
After each boxing loss or draw, he developed new skill. Anyone who fights can respect that. He wasn't a boxer, just a dude that could throw hands and he made a living doing it.
Butterbean is my all time favorite boxer. My little hairy Chihuahua loves him too. We have st through many televised fights and I could swear my little dog would crack a smile at every one of Butterbeabn's knockouts. My little dog is gone now and I miss him so much. I was playing Fight Night: Championship once, and I picked Butterbean against Ali. I went all 12 against Ali, and got put on my ass four times. Managed to land a sledgehammer of a right hook on Ali’s chin in the final 10’ seconds and won by K.O. I’ll never forget it
I have a hell of a lot more respect for this guy after watching this, I wrongly looked at him as a bit of a joke back in the day, this guy deserves a lot more credit than he gets.

Dont sleep on Butterbean, by the looks of how his oppnents heads snaps back Butterbean has some freakish power for sure !
Absolutely a Legend 💯
Way to be old man, way to look, your journey back from the chair is truly inspiring . Thank you sir.
46 wins and one loss that's pure beast a force to be reckon with absolute legend indeed Butterbean has earned his respect..... He did have very powerful hits ....🥊🏆🏆🏆🏆
He didn't fight one formidable opponent. Not one
@ykd818 Don't hate on the great
Powerful hits and tits too 😂
He only protected his head because his body was protected naturally😂.
Someone smashed his own elbow against his head 💀
So true and funny 😁 guy is a legend
Yep. True. I don’t mean insult. Because a human body have muscles and fat like body armor that allow take minimal damage. But boxer’s head still be vulnerable for punch to knock out.
One of the most entertaining boxers of all time! How can you not love him? A true legend!
This is far and away the best fight announcer of all time. Seems like he's been narrating fights for as long as I can remember.
Butterbean was and still is my favorite boxer, I wish he could've still been able to box, but that's how it goes sometimes. I respect the man. He never left anything in the ring he fought in, and every fight was a highlight. I haven't met anyone yet who said they didn't like watching one of his boughts.
“Only a necromancer could help him.” Great line!
Every six months or so, another big UA-camr puts out a video about Butterbean, and it feels like I am legally obligated to watch it.
Love me some Butterbean.
Thank you for this... made my day. Butterbean is a Legend. Seems like a lifetime ago
Nah, when you get older it is just the other day, haha
The quality of these videos just goes up and up. The writing and the editing are all fantastic! Thanks for keeping us fight fans fed
So many great one liners in this one I lost count!
Crazy, huh. A Russian team produces these videos... @@Narcolepzzzzzzzz
@@POLITICALYCORRECTify Most professional boxers wouldn't last 30 with Tyson. Quit being a hater bro.
My dad loved to watch Butterbean fight, some of my best father-son memories was of watching his fights together.
This man is a legend of boxing ... a true heart of steel and love of his audience. He is a true boxer...
After each boxing loss or draw, he developed new skill. Anyone who fights can respect that. He wasn't a boxer, just a dude that could throw hands and he made a living doing it.
This narration is just brilliant.
Humorous, insightful, and factual.
You deserve an award my friend.
Love your videos.
Butterbean, You were incredible in the world of boxing. God bless you, sir.
Ya gotta just love this man, not arrogant, big headed , just raw power , through and through , like a whirlwind coming at ya 🎉
definitely has one big ol head though lol
Butterbean is my all time favorite boxer. My little hairy Chihuahua loves him too. We have st through many televised fights and I could swear my little dog would crack a smile at every one of Butterbeabn's knockouts. My little dog is gone now and I miss him so much. He loved Butterbean. I love B utterbean too ! A friend always !
Butterbean is a pure piece of Americana! 🇺🇸
Hi from the UK I've always followed butterbean and he is a legend and what a punch he had...
Every time I watch a video on Mr. Esh the thing that shines out is that he is a really good guy.
Wow... what a great story, thank you for this video and well done Butterbean. Encouraging stuff!!!
I like how he's very aware of his opponents' condition, and even steps back sometime to see whether they are falling or not.
That is extremely respectful.
this is the best doc of butterbean on youtube. good job! butterbean is one of my idols of boxing.
Not boxing
I'm so happy you made an episode on BB. He's so underrated imo.
He was and he still is an absolute unit.
This was a really fine video. I love Butterbean and wish him nothing but the best that life has to offer.
Totally agree
So much respect for DDP. That guy has helped restore so many that seemed beyond repair.
Friggin love this guy's fights. What's even more surprising is that he's not just reliant on brute strength, which makes him really dangerous.
I only know Butterbean from the Jackass Movie, but that appearance was legendary! I think this is the first time im seeing more fights by him, so many thanks for this episode! :)
I really like the narrator's comments on this channel, well written, cutting and funny
There's not many people that could make me shake with fear. Butterbean is one of them, even in old age. Dude is a monster!
This was an amazing tribute to one of the greats of boxing.
I met him at his restaurant in AL when he was still in the chair. Absolutely a class act of a human being. Glad to see him doing better.
One off my favorite boxers all time. Specially his very good character. Always nice for his fans. I hope you live long enough my friend 🙏🏻
Butterbean in the history books as a heck of a show🙏🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️
Butterbean!! Commentary and butterbean, you had me in tears my man!! 😅
Of course he did you have no class or skill. That's why you think it's normal for someone to make a video about somebody and called them fat at the same time. You people have brain damage. If some of you are the biggest low lifes on the planet
You've got as much brain damage as the idiot that made the video
I was playing Fight Night: Championship once, and I picked Butterbean against Ali. I went all 12 against Ali, and got put on my ass four times. Managed to land a sledgehammer of a right hook on Ali’s chin in the final 10’ seconds and won by K.O.
I’ll never forget it
I have a hell of a lot more respect for this guy after watching this, I wrongly looked at him as a bit of a joke back in the day, this guy deserves a lot more credit than he gets.
it is inspiring to see how his boxing technic evolved and improved over time
The spherical madlad didn't just ring his opponents bell, he built a damn clocktower and placed them in it.
Absolutely loved that ."the cargo ship" 😂
Well done! I always knew of Butterbean, but I did not know the whole story... Great story!
I loved watching his fights. Great to see Butterbean healthy.
Thoroughly enjoyed this story. Thanks!
