Why do you dislike juhani? I think her story is inspiring, I try to not judge others too harshly because of her. Nearly everyone is capable of redemption.
Hope you read all the KotOR comics, since Zayne Carrick, Marn Hierogryph, and Celeste Morne would be a treat to see on this series.
@@chrismullin8862 Fr ppl hated Juhani bc she's a jerk to your character to begin but her learning how to come to terms with her past, and deal with her anger, and how that interacted with the dark side was all really interesting and makes her much more sympathetic than most ppl assumed

She is an amazing yet very underrated character I wish we got to know more about her fate and Jolee's

I'd like to see us go on a mission and find Mission Vao negotiate a better deal with Mannan and there flow of kolto for the republic or a shady job mission has as an alternative option all concluding in traveling to Kashyykk and finding juhani with jolee fighting sith assasins

@@100StarWars lol, if only. EA more or less killed any chances of a true KOTOR 3 with SWTOR. Hopefully the remake can remedy that, and wash away the bad taste the MMO has left in our mouths for years
I never understood the Juhani haters. Granted she wasn't as valuable as Bastilla or Jolee, but essentially KOTOR is meant to be played as a story, not as a shoot em up. The more in depth you explore the characters, the richer the games became.

I love Juhani, although my first play through, I killed her- had no idea she was a potential party member... I rectified this error on my 2nd play through.

I always liked Juhani in the game. I think she was written rather well and showed even 'non-perfect' people with flaws in their hearts can become great jedi. One does not need to be 'a poster boy' to make a real difference!
Especially considering the challenge for the species is their instincts luring them to the dark side, not the promise of power
I like to think that Juhani and Jolee survived the events of Kotor 2 and they were just in hiding like Bastila.
I like to think Yuthura Ban, Dustil and the acolytes from the academy, Juhani, and Johlee went into hiding and re-emerged after KOTOR II and helped Meetra rebuild the order
I always imagined that Jolee would bring Juhani back to kashyyyk with him for them to hide from the sith.

Juhani is one of my favorite examples of a true Jedi: she confronted and overcame her fear of the Dark Side. She managed to overcome the greatest flaw that the Jedi Order almost never overcame: the fear of the Dark Side.

I murdered her on my first play through because I wanted a second lightsaber as soon as possible and was surprised to learn she was actually a companion that joined your crew. I save her every time now.

Juhani is definitely an interesting character I have met so far. Her brief turn to the dark side is a burning reminder to my character and Bastila just how hard it can be to resist the temptation.
Seeing as we’re getting a remake of the KOTOR, I hope not only for the return of our favorite Cathar Jedi but also they can redesign Juhani’s face so she can look like a proper Cathar. She deserves to look better yet more alien.
I hope they expand on her romance, as she was the first openly gay Star Wars character.
@@CyberController- I'm sure the developers will take the opportunity of current culture to make the lesbian implications into a stated-in-game lesbian relationship. In the original, it was heavily implied by dialogue, just not said outright In-game.

Wow! She's really interesting! I'm not overly familiar with the Old Republic (I've read a couple of books from that time period, but not much), so seeing interesting characters like her is really cool! I can't wait to see more!

How can people not like Juhani? She has a full, well-developed arch. And upon completing this arc, she helped Raven at the Temple of the Rakata and supported his story by making it better. That's a well-written character. A character who wasn't just made to look cool on screen.

I first played Knights of the old republic when I was 11 I started playing again recently at 27, I had no idea this companion existed.
Juhani is the least favorite member of Ebon Hawk but to me she is a magnificent character.

My friend truly amazing and astounding video as always. Juhani I don't know anything about so this was really fascinating. Forgive me for saying this again but I did see Juhani briefly in KOTOR Movie Saga's video The Circle of Fate during Revan's battle on the Star Forge. Brash, reckless, and even imprudent, but humble, well-meaning, and kind on the right moments. She would make a true Jedi... and may she never have perished on that bloody Conclave at Katarr.
Also underrated and unfortunately executively hampered by... obsolete and damning "ideals" notoriously and commonly accepted in the likes of the 2000s and before. Hopefully, the upcoming remake will restore a lot of her lost nuance, since times have changed on media nowadays, what with the likes of Life Is Strange/Mass Effect, Adventure Time/Steven Universe/She-ra and the Princesses of Power/The Owl House, and This Is She/The Girl from the Sea all around.
For the record, I didn't know Juhani was a companion when I first played, b/c I saw the fan-made machinima film with Revan as Logan Starr before playing the game. The filmmakers completely cut her out of their movie for some reason.

@@100StarWars I think it's possibly her hostile attitude that she has in some parts of dialogue and that they never fleshed her out to the same degree as the other companions but I still think she's pretty solid dispite her flaws she has a good backstory and is pretty good in game as well in terms of having a jedi companion I also like to believe she didn't go to katar

I never really use her, just pull her out from time to time to make sure she's ready for the Rakatan Temple section. On my last playthrough I went dark side and she at one point went off on me about Taris, I was like oh. I had no idea.
Also, I always thought it was funny that her master just leaves, like your training is probably complete idk I don't really want to see you again though bye

Just started playing Kotor again this week. Damn the sith base on manaan is hard lol
I didn’t always like Juhani in fact the first time I encountered her I didn’t realise she was a companion option and so I killed her. Another Playthroughs obviously I have had her as a companion and maxed out her companionship options and I find her a fascinating character a cool design and a loyal companion one of the better ones. Also both her cloths and padawan red robes look awesome
Can anyone explain the Juhani hate? I mostly just found her boring as a character, but little else. I grew to love Yuthura's character in sharp contrast despite each of them going along a somewhat similar path... can anyone explain? Maybe it's because Yuthura changed her early destiny instead of having it handed to her.

Worth noting that Xor was technically supposed to be a human but this was changed for some reason during the final release. There's a mod which restores Xor's human appearance

I don't dislike her nor even think she's that badly written, but she's somehow forgettable?
Unlike Bastilla, Carth, Canderous, HK-47 and Jolee, who are easy to remember. Mission and Zaalbar weren't super memorable either, but whatever. I would say even t3m4 made more of an impression on me
