LMNT always sends me thoughtful things like free bottles, etc. I was happily surprised with the sparkling gift!!! I like the black cherry and lime.
They were okay, but we immediately figured out that we could just add one of the LMNT packets to sparkling mineral water to get the same effect.
This is how I prefer it as well, tastes much more refreshing. However I do like being able to grab one out of the fridge with these new cans. Wish they would cut down on the Stevia taste though.
That’s what I’ve been doing. But they sent them to me. I would have never paid for them to try.
Just add a package. We don’t need more stuff on our landfill…
I was tickled when LMNT sent their new sparkling beverage. Seriously, how many companies do that? I often add regular LMNT to sparkling water when I want a soda. I enjoyed the samples very much. Black cherry was my fave & I usually don't care for black cherry beverages. I may occasionally buy the new sparkling beverage but the pouches will still be my go to staple.

I enjoyed the convenience with the bubbles. I prefer it to saltt. It was a thrilling surprise. I may try adding a packet to a seltzer water? I also very much enjoy zippfizz as a pick me up. I dislike that I am not on your side on this review.
I love them. Hope they start selling them in grocery stores and gas stations. I’ve already purchased more! Packets and grab and go cans both make sense for me.

FYI: If you find them too sweet, add water. I use a 40oz thermos, I put a can in and top it off with water. For me, it's just right.
We enjoyed our free samples so much. My favorite is the cherry. My daughter's and son favorite was the citrus. We liked it that it was overly bubbly. I hope to order some soon.
We are very involved in our local Veteran's clubs. I take a LMNT/Saltt stick to the bar and order a club soda. I use about 1/4 to 1/3 of a pack to 8 to 10 oz. I found out about the fizz factor the first time I used and had an exploding volcano all over the bar counter. Lesson learned! Really my brain not only doesn’t miss the alcohol at all.

I took the mango chili flavor with plain sparkling water to a friend’s house when she was having a martini party. I mixed 1/2 a stick in a glass with just a little of the water until the fizziness subsided and then added more water. What I didn’t expect is the spiciness of the atomized drink too close to my face. Got a whiff and it made me cough pretty badly. Better to mix further from your face! These LMNT cans would make very convenient mixers for cocktails!
Here are some insights: the lower carb count on the cans is likely because the flavor stayed in its original form (liquid) and didn't have to get powdered - that eliminated a step and probably also means the cans don't have maltodextrin. I got a chance to taste the lemon-lime and it was quite sour, a lot of people tasting it were remarking how salty it was but they were actually reacting to the high amounts of citric acid, not the saltiness. LMNT is known for having a strong flavor unless you use more water, in 16oz it has a really strong sour taste and a lot of sweetener (that's actually the specific reason SALTT has less sour and sweetener). You can eliminate the fizz adding it to soda water by pre-mixing the powder with a few ounces of regular water, get it dissolved, and THEN add it to the soda water. It's an extra step but will prevent the foaming bubbles and the mad scramble to close the lid before it bubbles over.

I think the marketing idea of sending these out gratis to subscribed customers is genius. Creates quite a buzz in the marketplace, is a healthier alternative in a sea of soft drinks that cost a lot at convenience stores and may help “salty” drinks gain more popularity for the general consumer. Timing of the marketing was good leading into the hotter time of year.
I make my own electrolyte powder (using epsom salts for Mg, Nusalt for K, and Redmond's Real Salt for Na) so a half tsp is the LMNT ratio in one packet. I add it to a can or two of Aldi flavored non-sweetened carbonated water (my favorite flavors are grapefruit and, surprizing to me, strawberry). I also add the juice of half a lemon and two tablespoons of ACV all over ice. I find it very refreshing (i have an insulated ss drink tumbler so i mix it in one can, drink it down enough to add the second can). Not sweet,but satisfies my thirst especially after working in the yard. Sometimes with the grapefruit i will also add a shake Tajin. Yum!

I had my husband buy a single LMNT bundle so I could support an influencer and get the sample pack so we got TWO packs of sparkling cans! I really enjoyed my first taste of Grapefruit so I have now ordered a box of those but I would not buy/ship LMNT cans. If I were out and about, and this was an option to buy at a checkout counter, I would totally buy it as a treat though! Great review video, thanks!

I like them. I think they are a better choice for those who normally buy fizzy drinks like Celcius or diet sodas. Most of us do not have a soda stream so it seems like the cost isn't bad for a treat now and then.
I think these would be great for picnics, reunions, summertime parties and for sports teams.
Love the idea of giving these as the after game or halftime treat for youth teams!
I am hoping they catch on in stores-for the sake of the company and for travelers needing a great drink from a convenience store!
I appreciate the honest review. I love LMNT. I don't see the point in having it premixed, especially if it makes it sweeter. Joe made a lot of great points. I always pack electrolytes with me. I can't always pack a bunch of cans.

I got mine last week, I didn’t know what it was until I opened it up. Yes it’s a very nice offer to us. I love the lime and citrus regular LMNT. I have had a lime one in the can and a grapefruit one and those two are really good! Over ice….or cold….wonderful! It is sweeter than a regular LMNT dry. I have not seen a price yet though. It does taste like a Margherita…..haha! I would buy to leave in the frig for a quick grab and go, but overall for daily use, I would make my own for better cost factor. Thanks for the review!
It is a help for traveling and that is about it from what I can see.
I love the sparkling water idea. I took the ones they sent me on a road trip to Arizona and they saved me from getting dehydrated from the heat. I poured them over ice and it was delicious. I might get more in the future.

I tried Joe's method with the lid and it works so well. When I debate using more than one LMNT stick a day already, an extra $1.25 per serving does not seem worth it to me. And my wife and me are huge LMNT fans/consumers.
I have really enjoyed them. I would buy them for convenience when im on the run and don't have time to mix my own. The black cherry lime really surprised me. It was delicious.

Thanks for your honest review! It would be interesting to do a cost / taste comparison of the commercial electrolytes with DIY electrolytes made from bulk ingredients and then flavored with something like Stur or Crystal Lite or whatever.
I enjoyed the surprise gift and it was fun tasting the different flavors but I prefer the powder sticks in regular water.
I thought they were D-Licious BUT, I’d rather by the sticks.
That said, I CAN see myself purchasing individually at the gym or a gas station if available.

That said, I agree that the grapefruit is much sweeter. I usually mix my packets in seltzer. I’ll probably be cutting the grapefruit with more seltzer.

I received the sample pack in the mail and loved it. I didn't notice that it was unusually sweet, and the saltiness was just right. Fave is black cherry lime, hope they make it a stick (powder).
It should also be mentioned shipping is free (right now). Yes, you order 36 for $72. I like the flexibility and not on a regular basis. They fit a niche need.
Oh, they're good and marketing to loyal subscribers brilliant. But, that price point is WAY beyond my budget. Albeit, everything has gone up these days, making it harder on the average consumer.

I'm enjoying these drinks as a replacement for a good soda with the advantage of the electrolyes, black cherry lime is my favorite.
I liked them. If they make it into gas stations i would definitely buy them as a replacement for other drinks. I will be sticking to the sticks for home use though.
It's all about the niche - Healthy Convenience. I got my 8 pack of variety and I like them all, especially the blackcherrylime which reminds me of my Dr. Pepper days. However I don't plan to buy these for everyday use for the very reasons you talked about in the video.
But I'd love to have them around when I have to go somewhere and I'm short on time or bottles to make my own, or I'm out of co2, or I don't have a soda stream, or I'm going into an unknown environment and/or can't bring a cooler but probably can find ice later. I do prefer my electrolytes carbonated, but drinking them flat would simplify all of this, like Rachel does.
I loved these! I usually add more water to my LMNT so I added extra plain seltzer to these. For the price it is cheaper to buy the plain seltzer (on sale .99 per liter) and add the LMNT to it.

I like them, the citrus and the berry are my favorites. They are a little more Salty then when I make my LMNT packets. But I would feel ok in buying a 32 case and keep them in the fridge and I can always add more sparkling water if I want less saltiness.
I have tried these and really liked them. Though I will stick to the packages because they are easier for me to store and have the flavors I like.

Yes I loved getting the cans of LMNT sparkling and I mostly enjoyed the Citrus drink! but honestly I like the packets better in flat water. I am not much of a soda drinker to begin with and I really like having the packets in my bag to just pour into a bottle of water!
I think the cans need to be in stores. They need a healthy electrolyte drink for the non keto folks. We already know. I do the packets and my thermos. I like cold drinks (FL heat). I also put my electrolytes in my coffee the chocolate and caramel flavors. I use both LMNT and SALTT. I buy the flavors I like best from both companies.
I was super surprised and grateful when I received mine in the mail. I definitely like them. However I think I will just keep using my sticks because I can’t afford to buy both.
Black Cherry was my favorite. It was too sweet for me. I could dilute it with more sparkling water. I have one can of cherry left

I loved the Black Cherry Lime. But was blind sided by the price. I would buy one occasionally as a treat. But not 32 for $75.00.
Hmmm. I really liked all the flavors. I was surprised that I liked them because I normally don’t like sparkling water. I find that the flavor is usually too light and sparkling water. But this one I thought was spot on.
And for me, because I do not have a soda stream or similar, the price is in line with what I would pay for a soda if I wasn’t buying a 12 pack of soda on sale. It’s probably the same amount of beverage that I would get at Wawa and an extra large once I added ice to that soda.
I really enjoyed having one of these with dinner. It made me feel like I had leveled up dinner a little bit. More than flat electrolyte water does.
For me, definitely worth it. And I will be buying some once I get back from the cruise.
I also got a box in the mail. I have tried 2 so far - Citrus and Grapefruit, Being that I am not a grapefruit fan in the first place, I actually liked it but I think that was because it WAS sweeter. I liked the Citrus one too, probably for the same reason. I think they are trying to offset the bitter flavor in citrus, especially grapefruit.
I thought it was too sweet, all flavors. On the other hand, non-keto family members didn’t think it was that sweet at all. LMNT obviously is marketing to more than keto people. Thankfully we have options with the packets, and more flavors.

I'm so bummed! in order packets in bonus boxes & I didn't get these! However friends did & are willing to share. Problem solved! I generally put my LMNT into sparkling water & love it!
Too sweet for me. I cut it wih 8 oz. club soda to 12 oz. of the product and enjoyed it much better. I normally us the Raw flavor so this will be a once in a while treat for me.
Sorry guys! I love all of these a little sweeter is fine once in a while, at least it isn’t pop! I love the flavors, I would buy these. I would also get the bottle of plain seltzer and use the sticks but these are great for a grab and go especially if schedules are tight. ❤ you two!! oh and my favs are the grapefruit, black cherry/lime, citrus, and least fav is watermelon.
I think these would be more compelling of they are in gas stations and you're hurting for an electrolyte... When I was in Colorado a few years ago I got altitude sickness, one of the ways to combat that is hydration... I could've drank a few of these a day (I should've brought packets of electrolytes with me, but I didn't think about it... )

I enjoyed the grapefruit and I wasn't sure I would.
I liked them all, however I added these to my plain sparkling water to dilute it a little bit and it lasted longer that way also.
I have been adding LMNT to sparking water for a long time. However I absolutely love this company. Veteran owned and the customer service is the best ever! I like keto chow I know you are friends but I don’t think they can’t beat LMNT when it comes to customer service
I buy grocery store labeled cheap seltzer for under $1, and add electrolytes to it- much cheaper.
I was surprised the grapefruit which I love with sparkling water from the packet, did not taste as good in the can, but the citrus tasted better to me. I like the black cherry lime, but I didn't get any of the watermelon because my son drank them.
I am moving next week and I have saved my cans for the move

I received my gift about a week ago. Love the citrus. Would love to have the black cherry in a stick. I do not have a soda stream and have had explosions putting my electrolytes in sparkling water. I think this is a great convince option for an outing such as kayaking.
I put electrolytes in my empty bottle, then add SOME fizzy water, then wait and add more water in stages until full. There's no eruption. I make several at a time and leave in fridge.
I liked them, but I never felt a need for sparkling lmnt. I was really surprised at how much I liked the grapefruit! I was expecting it to taste awful! I do not like grapefruit and had never tried that flavor in the packets for that reason. If I saw them in the convenience store sold as singles, I might buy one. I don't see myself purchasing these to keep in the fridge.

there "ok" I noticed that they created phlegm in my throat almost immediately. that has to be from the added sweetener it also could be from the water. I'm sure they filter it but just basically..... I prefer the water only without the carbonation.
carbonation actually has been shown to be very detrimental on the nervous system.......food for thought......
I drink filtered water ( carbin block + UV light system) so i know whats Not in my water....
I worked for coke in a bottling facility. we had a reverse osmosis system but that's all and the water is only cycled one time so in reality when we tested it in the quality control it still had garbage in it but that was all that was required so this product is made in a bottling facility somewhere and probably produced along with a lot of other products so would be nice to see the water analysis of the water that has been put in to the product...... I find the taste was really strong because it is so concentrated in that little can.
I put one packet in 40 ounces of water drink two of those a day no phlegm buildup in my throat...... also no belching this carbonated product creates gas in your stomach I've done everything to create a diet so I eliminate gas in my stomach....... that's my personal opinion everybody's gonna have a different one if you enjoy it good it definitely is better than picking up a soda......
Not everyone is as frugal as you guys are. Some people just want to pick up something quick to drink. They're not interested in going out and buy a soda stream, Co2, etc. It's called a convenience store for a reason. If everyone thought like you guys do there would be no Starbucks. 😉

If you leave it set open it will go flat and it's still good!
I have a ton of grapefruit LMNT and I am happy with packets because I can put in the amount I want. I tried the new cans and I’m not a fan. Why add the weight and shipping? I wouldn’t mind having the cherry lime in powder so I can regulate the amount in my water.
I can’t do them. I had to give them away. I think it’s the seltzer. To be fair I’ve yet to find anything with seltzer that I like. I do use the packaged LMNT electrolytes and they are good.
