Poor saffers getting a taste of their own medicine. Their commentators talking about 'red card territory' for POM were having a laugh. That wasn't even a yellow.
@@ejsmith9194 Open to debate here, but just grabbing Murray isn't really bad discipline is it? They just held each other and had a nice conversation. Discipline issues came soon after and all around... the typical rugby boil over.

Why does there even need to be a card here? It’s pathetic that refs feel they need to dish out a card for some pushing and shoving. Was a punch thrown? No, so get on with it.
Peter just chose his opportunity so wrong. He drags down the captain who seemed the least threatening btw. Jumps on top of the guy and it looks like him and his mate absolutely take him out. Yeah maybe someone like Etsebeth has done that to, but he usually does it provoked these days. Not to the nicest and least threatening guy on the pitch for no reason.
Etzebeth’s always throwing has handbag 👜 around, and gets away with barely a talking-to, let alone a yellow or worse! No disrespect to Eben, but all he ever does is pull a weird face and act tough for the cameras when there’s a scuffle
I don’t understand what the yellow card was for. Some pushing and shoving which involved both teams. I cannot even see a reason to award a penalty. The referee’s decions nowadays are becoming more difficult to understand. This is not about South Africa or England. These decisions happen to all the teams. It seems to me like France are being the most targeted and the All blacks the least. There is more games that I have not seen than what I have seen so I am not the most reliable person to make this assumption. The standard of refereeing is dropping. This I am certain of. Maybe it is because the are not held accountable when having a pretty bad match. What’s there to deter them or increase the standards
This is just a lot of handbags. It should have been left to play on like in the days when refs let the game run instead of blowing the game into oblivion. I hate the new rugby and struggle to watch what’s become of it with all these fkn cards ruining a hard man’s game. It’s a joke.
yeah completely agree. All for player safety but some of the cards and rules/laws make the game hard to watch even for people who entirely undertsand it, nevermind trying to branch out into a new audience.
The Captain’s job is to defuse the situation, not make it worse. If he can’t handle that responsibility, he shouldn’t be Captain. The other argy-bargy was nothing, and would have run its course.
