I’m in the same boat, although I had to try it myself. My son and I have now been out quite a few times and have found some of the same bottles I’ve seen in his videos!
The Bakelite piece that had the threaded metal ends, was the actual Atomizer, probably for the perfume bottle you dug right after it. It was missing the rubber bulb, which you also dug a bit after the bottle.
Nice, we find those Milk Glass cheese jars a bunch here in Vermont. Love to see how different products are from other parts of the country. Great video as always 👍
In the 70's i dug antique bottles. While not being a active digger i still collect crates, and memorabilia. Im particular proud of items that i have that were made in Anoka minnesota
That torpedo-looking bottle that had a bent neck, which you had called an oil bottle, I believe could be a vintage baby bottle, especially since you found a rubber bulb that you thought might be part of a breast pump, as well as some thing called a lactopeptine bottle. 🤔😊 Of course, some other fans of yours have suggested good possibilities, too! Ink jar, birdcage water bottle, medicine-administering bottle for bedridden patients. So interesting, whatever its purpose was! 👍
More Rare Bottles - Great Dig - always very Interesting - Love History - Love old Bottles - after 140 Years in the Ground - they still can be Saved ! Brilliant and many Cheers from Australia !!!!
Greetings from B.C., Tom and Jake : Although I've seen a lot of your videos , a favourite of mine was the recent with the 3 pioneer Hutchisons, all super rare( 2 from one bottler).Probably my top pick, though, was your episode on the dig of the notorious Tackett's Station.Like you, I favour age and history. Wonder if you will do future digs at other early stagecoach stops( across the Plains)
I love watching your channel and I get excited every time you find a Mason jar. I collect them and it's great to learn more about them from your channel.
I LIKE WATCHING YOU DIG THROUGH 100 YEAR OLD OUTHOUSE PITS SIMPLY BECAUSE IT IS LIKE A BOX OF CHOCOLATES, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU ARE GOING TO FIND, LOL!! HOW IN CAT HAIR DID YOU GET STARTED MINING MANURE..I MEAN, ANTIQUES?? YOU ARE A ONE-OF-A-KIND MINER IS ALL I CAN SAY. WHAT YOU DO, WHAT YOU FIND AND HOW YOU GET TIPS ON WHERE TO DIG IS AMAZING. KEEP IT UP AND BE SURE TO TAKE YOUR BOOSTER SHOTS!!!
It's crazy what's left hidden beneath our feet and we have no clue. Out of curiosity, what do you do with the pieces you find? I mean obviously you clean them up a bit but after that...?
Love your channel, love the fact that you have separate person filming your dig without the vertigo effect like others have while watching your video's, you have very informative knowledge for your viewers and it is well produced, no wonder you have the highest subscribers in the digging interest group on UA-cam ! I have one question a lot of people have asked, what do you do with all your finds? Also what about your doubles? Do you sell? What do you do?
You sure do some digging and finding some great history there. Those cheese jars were probably like a spreadable cheese like cream cheese. Have a great day
You do make me happy when I can watch you dig, it does make me nervous when your down so deep because, well we know Jake isn't going to save you, him and that camera first. Sorry just a rant, you do make me sweat. Love the videos. Be safe much love, have a great turkey day. Afriend.

My parents bought a home years back with a shed in the corner of the yard. over the years the ground underneath the shed Has sunk in about 2 to 3 feet swallowing the floor I'm starting to get curious that I should move it and see what's in there

Hi Tom, I really enjoy your videos and the interesting finds that are dug. I’m wondering what you do with the doll heads you find, even the broken pieces?
That weird bottle with the bent neck is for administering medicine to an invalid/ bed ridden person. I have seen invalid feeders made of porcelain, but I have never seen a medicine bottle. I believe that to be a very rare find.😊
You sir can do a lot of top of the head talking while digging. Nice job giving info out. Have you dug in S.E. Mn. With the bottling company Watkins selling everything under the sun.
At 20 min the item with the threaded cap looks like a valve stem with a Schrader valve under the cap... Did they have inflated objects then? Like tires
Another great dig! love this channel! Tom, do you know anyone in the movie/show business? because I know that Movie and even TV show set directors/dressers sometimes look for these types of items if they are dressing/decorating a set for a period movie or tv show! could be lucrative! anyway good luck and I look forward to the next video! thanks and take care!
Pop's here. I would love to see an entire video of just all the bottles cleaned up and an idea of their value.

@sadielevens1144: I have no idea if they are good bottles or not but for some reason I get all pump up if I hear him talk about tooled tops and stuff

The atomizer part and the bulb probably went to the jar. They were atomizers that was used for breathing purposes.
