I feel sorry for Richard Wright since he was kicked out of the band while the album was being created. He was trying his hardest to get back in. Roger should have let him back in. I mean he was kicked out because of how he couldn’t see his wife and kids and missed them so much. RIP Richard Wright. May he live a happy live in heaven.
On the flipside, being kicked out of the band and then hired on as a paid musician meant that he was the only member of Pink Floyd to actually profit from the tour - the band itself lost money.
