God I miss this man so much.
Can't stop watching this. Loved this guy and band. And outside way way high.....
God, Shannon was something special.
This performance gets me every time. I first saw this on VHS on New Year's Day 1995, and I always thought it was the highlight of the show. I found out much later that he was on acid at the time, but that fact just makes this much easier to understand and appreciate!
attended woodstock 94 was a dream
I heard this song for the first time today and only this version is the only version I’ve heard, it’s bad ass!
Once I was really high on mushrooms at a music festival and got into a concerning debate with another guy, equally enlightened, as to who was the biggest Blind Melon fan. It seemed really important to me at the time!
Most of us can sing but only few have unique gifted voice !
Beautiful

I'm gonna go with a bit of ease.
Being schizophrenic anti social heroin addict is a deadly combination.
But oh what a feeling
he wasn't a heroin addict. He had a cocaine addiction
I read somewhere that he was on LSD during his performance at the festival. Either way... What a tremendous loss. Far too young.
A talented group of musicians but they're just window dressing...Shannon was the whole show. That incredible voice...the stage presence.....what a loss.
