Fantastic audience... 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, we reached another millennium (2000) and the good concerts and happy and free audiences are over. No phones, a paradise.
this is the 1 song in my life that gives me the nostalgia of being a child, carefree, with my family around. going to Ireland to see my Granny and cousins, going France on camping holidays. all the friends I made as a kid, my primary school memories, this is the only song that makes me feel that nostalgia. 90s was a great time to be alive young or old.
I was born in 92 and just picture the younger versions of my parents dancing in the crowd to this. Brings back so much nostalgia and how thankful I am for growing up in this time period. My parents are separated now but I love them both so much and will always be reminded of them with music of the 90s.
Why can't Ireland be known for Conor AND Dolores, and all of the other amazing people that were born there? It seems like Conor has done a lot of growing up in the last couple of years
I was 17 when this concert happened. I didn't make it to see it live, but this is my generation and I identify with this. literally sitting here with my eyes closed, the tunes cranked, crying like a baby. Time... you are a silent thief.
its 2012 an im working my ass off in a architecture studio down town in Ecuador im doing my unpaid internships to finish my diploma, im going out of work at 9pm in the most horrible piece of town haha im walking and i dont have not even one cent in my pocket just for the bus ride, suddenly i see a huge crowd in front of a bar called "Strawberry fields forever" and it was because the cranberries had just made a huge concert in town, the crowd was specting Dolores to arrive but she arrive too late when in the bar was only a few people, i waited all night long for them to come and when she shows i almost feel in love, i call a beer in the bar just so they let me in, didn't get any picture but she sang some songs for the fans it was amazing. still a memory that warms my hearth

This song has always reminded me of a girl who loved me with all her heart. I broke up with her last year. One of the last thing we did was build a garden together. A few months back she was in this garden when a tree branch fell on her head causing her to be in ICU for 28 days and died 3 times but was revived. She is now at a Spinal Cord Injury hospital paralyzed from the neck down (C1) and unable to talk with many other unimaginable challenges ahead of her. Last night I dreamed of her and she was walking and talking and smiling and I was overwhelmed with joy at her recovery. I awoke in tears and just saw a clip from this on my IG feed. 😭😢 Pray for Madison❤️.
Ive tattooed "No need to Argue" title on the back of my hand before I was supposed to go see them on tour in October of 2017. A few days later they cancelled the tour because Dolores could not perform due to her health decline at the time. Later on January of 2018 she passed away. Its 2023 and ive came across another cranberry fan thats older than me but for someone to recognize only the wording this woman has made an incredible impact in alot of our lives. She had not listened to the last album and i told her she just has to because that album is just pure emotion and values of life and Dolores last words and views of this world before her passing. I went thru depression, I was homeless with my husband and son for 2 yrs trying to land jobs and a house were we felt safe with the people around us. Sadly alot of people did take advantage of us while working and turning their backs on us during hard times. They still smile in my face as if god didnt see their actions on that day. Ive been keeping in my heart nothing but love and staying humble as can be. Today i can say we have a house today we went for a family interview for my husbands new job that i just know he will land because its been a dream of his. Today was just a bit different I heard Dreams play on the radio as I was shopping at the store while my husband finished his interview. I sang that song with my son in my arms and its been so long since ive heard this song play. I can sing this song knowing god is looking out for us even during our toughest times and will bring us to were we need to be just need to be patient and say what you need in this life to live peaceful with yourself and with others before we leave this earth. Life is never fair but make the most of it we don't all win the race so enjoy the journey. Dolores you've left a great legacy and I hope your children continue to spread your spirit in their own way, its very much needed in this world.
This song plucked at the strings of my soul from day one when I was 14 and I first heard this album. Their work is so hauntingly beautiful and that voice is a transporter. It takes us back to something undeniably before this time and yet we all are connected to it. Rest in Peace Dolores, the gift you shared still graces us, we are forever changed and eternally thankful.
2023.... wish she was still here on earth singing her heart out. She is a legend. I hope there are so called lost tapes of her that the band decides to release.

I grew up when they were big, I loved all there hits and her unique voice but was too young to realize she was Irish and how amazing her range is. My friend has a story how “Cranberries” offered a free concert in the park in DC and he skipped school to go and so many ppl came that it wasn’t safe and they canceled it.
Such an extraordinary voice, and sounding as amazing live as I'd hoped she would. And so captivatingly beautiful too. Dynamic performance by the entire band here... and the snap of that snare drum... just like the record!
I was at this 1994 WOODSTOCK FESTIVAL. IT was 3 days of absolute FUN.I will ALWAYS REMEMBER THIS.500,000 PEOPLE AND I NEVER WITNESSED AS MUCH AS A VERBAL CONFRONTATION.IT proves how people can get together and not cause trouble and enjoy amazing live music. RIP DELORES O'RIORDAN. ☮🙏
I was there, too. Lived not far from Saugerties in New Paltz. Despite getting the muddiest I've ever been, it was amazing & the best music & people. Loved Cranberries, the Band, Bob Weir, Levon Helm,Roger McGuinn, Bruce Hornsby Allman Bros, Joe Cocker, Blues Traveler, Bob Dylan, Peter Gabriel, Aerosmith, Traffic, Santana, Metallica. Missed parts of Green Day & slept through NIN- hard to imagine. Met the coolest people that weekend. By late Sunday it was insanity.
Depression doesn't work like that, they could be drowning in others love and not be able to see it. It's not that depressed people aren't loved, it's that depressed people can't accept love.

Perfect comment,, 100% totally agree
Well thankfully we have a lot more people who represent us more than that eejit lol
Why can't Ireland be known for Conor AND Dolores, and all of the other amazing people that were born there? It seems like Conor has done a lot of growing up in the last couple of years
conor represents violence,,,,
while dolores is pleasing to our minds...✌️✌️✌️✌️
Wish is granted
I never had the privilege of meeting her but I miss her as if we have been friends for decades. ❤️
Iconic musical performance that displays her natural singing talent. Her vocal stylings are unique and they feel full of empathy and love.
This angel was 1 of the most extraordinary women ever to walk the earth!! I truly love you forever ❤️🌺
Music was truly organic back then , talent shines through. A time not too long ago but seems like a lifetime. Her Voice.. the words … timeless
Exactly. A million years ago but also just yesterday…
What a gorgeous and brilliant use of cymbals. Well done on those drums, Sir! You loved her to her soul.
I cannot stop watching this. Such a beautiful voice. RIP Delores
I was 17 when this concert happened. I didn't make it to see it live, but this is my generation and I identify with this.
literally sitting here with my eyes closed, the tunes cranked, crying like a baby.
Time... you are a silent thief.
Very poignant comment my friend, you put it perfectly.
And smartphones are the accelerator to time’s thievery. Terrible invention overall, really.
Agreed! Miss it all the time
its 2012 an im working my ass off in a architecture studio down town in Ecuador im doing my unpaid internships to finish my diploma, im going out of work at 9pm in the most horrible piece of town haha im walking and i dont have not even one cent in my pocket just for the bus ride, suddenly i see a huge crowd in front of a bar called "Strawberry fields forever" and it was because the cranberries had just made a huge concert in town, the crowd was specting Dolores to arrive but she arrive too late when in the bar was only a few people, i waited all night long for them to come and when she shows i almost feel in love, i call a beer in the bar just so they let me in, didn't get any picture but she sang some songs for the fans it was amazing. still a memory that warms my hearth
I was 5 in 1994... I remember this on the car radio. So much time has passed. RIP Dolores!
What a Talented and ridiculously beautiful SOUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! God Bless You Delores..... Proud to be Irish!!
She had one of the most beautiful and stunning voices in all of rock !
She sounds like Sinead
Happy Heavenly Birthday Dolores. Your music lives on. ❤
the drummer played this song with real passion.. great!
No damn smart phones. Just young people enjoying themselves.
Its 1994 of course there is no phones
That is a completely stupid comment...No shit there's no cellphones! They weren't invented to the capacity they are now. However if they were you can bet your ass you'd see them just like now!
@@ralphdougherty1844 I'd like to think it's a joke
@@ralphdougherty1844 No schitt theres no smart phones.
Smart phones are not needed. They are nothing more than a gimmick for the gullible..
I bet you are on tw@er and tw@book. LoL.
@@aaron_b_1824
Most people had phones in 1994. They were invented many years before that.
This is just great. The band, crowd, atmosphere, everything. Great song and crowd ,🎉love it, wish I was there and hope all enjoyed it.
Back before she dyed her hair black
That yodeling/wailing/tribal keening gets me every time
It's the same technique that the b52 girl does to hit the high notes forget what it's called
Be strong my friend..
Well that's sad, thanks😒
you are a richard.
never lose hope my friend
My daughter and I saw them at the Rolling Rock Festival. She came dancing across the stage like a pixie, then she started to sing. Wow!
This is sheer brilliance. So happy to have found this.
I was about 100 miles from Woodstock when this concert took place. I wish I could have made it. Great job by the Cranberries!
Big love to you 💖🌸💜💙💚💛🧡♥️
I just love her voice. I so wish I could have seen her and the Cranberries. I know she was the Cranberries, but the band members deserve much credit.
It's sad to know that this was probably one of the greatest moments of a tormented life. RIP Delores
Such a kind soul with a voice of an angel! 🙏
Beautiful song.
This sort of concert won't ever be pulled off these days. I cherish the memories of my youth from the 80s/90s.
♥️
2023.... wish she was still here on earth singing her heart out. She is a legend. I hope there are so called lost tapes of her that the band decides to release.
couldn't hold my tears hearing her unique voice, everytime i'm in bad mood i come here and i feel better
I love her so much.I can’t hold my tears either...

Love the way she sings love her accent love the way she moves . Irreplaceable lovely lady .. sing on forever Dolores ...
I was there, and that song to me was the highlight of the best concert I've ever been to.
That was the day that
There’s no smartphone everyone’s enjoying every moment.
Such a pure voice......... RIP never ever forgotten
Such an extraordinary voice, and sounding as amazing live as I'd hoped she would. And so captivatingly beautiful too. Dynamic performance by the entire band here... and the snap of that snare drum... just like the record!
She has an amazing quiver in her voice. Very unique ✌🏼
I heard it was hell
@@Rubens_991 You heard wrong.I stand by everything i said, i was there.☮☘🥁
@@billreilly7693 sorry, mixed it up with Woodstock 3 in 1999. Peace
How old are u now guys
Makes me so sad to watch her. All the joy she gave us and clearly the world couldn’t return the favour.
Depression doesn't work like that, they could be drowning in others love and not be able to see it.
It's not that depressed people aren't loved, it's that depressed people can't accept love.
