From my experience, Sex ED in schools just caters to straight people. Our society needs to be a lot more progressive to be inclusive on all the minorities. Even though the LGBT community is not so much a minority anymore. Also, I've gotten to the point when I've had similar experiences when it comes to anal sex, and when I try to explain it in so many words to someone they just say "So your a Top?" And I'm like no not quite. So I did my research and found out that I identify more with G0y (its a gay subculture) when it comes to sex. As far as our own community, there has been some progression in a positive way when it comes to things like racism, body shaming and just excluding people for certain things and boiling it down to 'preference'. I find that safe sex is becoming a more common practice, at least in NZ and more people are going on prep. One thing that still needs a lot of work is having Pride in the general public and fighting Discrimination.
To the rape victim, my heart goes out to him. As a sexual abuse survivor I continue to struggle yearssss later and sometimes sex can be a very sensitive topic. Stay strong and don’t let partners make you feel bad for your struggles with feeling sexy or in the mood❤️

80% of this sounds like what a girl would go through, especially in conservative countries like the one I come from. That's why women empathize more with lgbtq+ men than straight men do, because we kinda go through the same phase of shame about our sexuality, if we don't want to hook up we're cursed at and if we do we're seen as whores. These type of things wouldn't happen to straight men, and it shouldn't, but it also shouldn't happen to any other person. I would have wished the "Safe sex" question was framed as "safer sex". The notion of the former implies that it's a binary of yes/no based on a barrier method only, as opposed to other forms (PrEP, TasP/UVL; frequent testing and partner notification; etc.) that the latter encompasses. But if it’s something like a hookup and you’re nervous, it can be difficult.
It’s hard for them to find love with each-other. Not a lot of gay men are willing to marry and openly be who they are. The community is small to compared to heterosexual People. The hookup culture with gay men is also such a big thing. I rarely see gay men in marriages. It’s sad. I want love for them to. There are some marriages but those are the exception it’s still pretty rare. I hope gay community will commit to loving each-other more. All races. No matter what shape size or whatever you are. Everyone deserves love. I hope everyone finds the love they seek! ♥️

I would have wished the "Safe sex" question was framed as "safer sex". The notion of the former implies that it's a binary of yes/no based on a barrier method only, as opposed to other forms (PrEP, TasP/UVL; frequent testing and partner notification; etc.) that the latter encompasses. It's astonishing how in 2021 that we have not gone beyond condoms or barrier methods as the only safe sex tool, at least from mainstream discourse. And yes, I understand the history of the AIDS crisis as well as pregnancy/reproductive health issues.
Having sex as a gay men is easy, but finding a boyfriend, someone you can fully trust, so far not possible to find. I got cheated on in all of my relationships so far.

From my experience, the “does sex hurt?” Question definitely depends on whether or not you’re comfortable.
If you’re into a person and have been wanting that with them for a while, it’ll be a bit easier. You’re more relaxed, foreplay will have gotten you in the mood, generally speaking; you’re more open.
But if it’s something like a hookup and you’re nervous, it can be difficult.

It’s hard for them to find love with each-other. Not a lot of gay men are willing to marry and openly be who they are. The community is small to compared to heterosexual People. The hookup culture with gay men is also such a big thing. I rarely see gay men in marriages. It’s sad. I want love for them to. There are some marriages but those are the exception it’s still pretty rare. I hope gay community will commit to loving each-other more. All races. No matter what shape size or whatever you are. Everyone deserves love. I hope everyone finds the love they seek! ♥️
