    I don’t believe teaching your sons about consent should be about protecting their reputation so they don’t get called a sex offender… it’s about educating your son to be a decent human being

      It shouldn’t be the center of reasoning for receiving consent, but it’s probably the most incentivizing thing she could think of. It’s easier to appeal to someone’s own needs than telling them to consider others, unfortunately.

    Never heard a word about sex from my parents growing up, even now at 23. I recently realized that the way I have always perceived sex was like something either cool, necessary or dirty, and never as something intimate and an expression of love and maybe it's because of how I learned about it - from the internet, porn and peers. Being a child of my parents I am also uncomfortable talking about this but I hope I am wise and brave enough to do it for my kids.

    • @georgiasomething2064
      @georgiasomething2064 2 роки тому +8

      Idk why, but this comment made me feel nice. I feel like a lot of people (including myself when I was younger) perceived sex as a dirty or bad thing to do, and the whole topic was/is taboo. It’s nice to see someone else realise that sex is an emotional thing, and another way to connect with your partner. One thing I wasn’t aware of because no one talked abt it, was how diverse sex it. Like, there is all kinds of sex for gay people, hetero people, etc, and so many ways you can pleasure each other. Personally, I am very open abt sex, and most things considered “taboo” and I find it rly interesting a lot of the time, especially when you can have an open conversation with others abt it.
      If your trying to be more open, I suggest trying to talk abt it more with other people, and researching it more. Because I find that the more I’m exposed to it, the less I feel uncomfortable.

They grew apart, sexual compatibility all that nonsense. Marriage and love is not about yourself so that's how I plan to approach it no matter rough it get and the possibility my partner turns on me. They left out so many other prompts we answered, and then chopped up and edited it WAYY out of context??? Y'all edited Emily & Kaely's responses out, when during the filming they said a ton, and then made Chase & Tyler look like they didn't like each other when they did and said way more during filming, and then didn't pay one person from this video... sketch.

      I agree. However, whatever it takes to make people think twice before pressuring/forcing someone into sex, I'm cool with that. Ideally, a person would WANT active consent because they care about their sex partner. But I guess if some people only get consent because they're scared about their reputations...welp. Better than not getting it.

      @@jennystout8600 it's become really hard for men not to ask just cause they're afraid of ruining their lives when it's become so common for women to lie about being raped. some are even caught in 4K clearly wanting the sex just to lure the guys and some outright confess to faking it just because they're spiteful for whatever reason.
      nonetheless, there are still many men who still ask for consent just because they care about the other person.
