- I've played a lot of Surgeon Simulator on this channel, but I've never gone as far as to play Surgeon Simulator: ER (Experience Reality), playable on the Oculus Rift S in Virtual Reality! This was a wild ride. I may not be a surgeon in my practice, but I'm certainly familiar with what the process entails, and this game got it... well dead wrong, but that doesn't mean it wasn't fun. I performed 4 operations on poor Bob: heart transplant, kidney transplant, brain transplant, and eye transplant. Turns out I'm actually pretty good, even if this VR stuff makes my back hurt pretty bad. There's a lot more in this game I didn't even get to, so if there are specific patients or procedures you'd like to see me perform please let me know in the comments!

I am a professional surgeon and this is how I like to approach my patients, he is doing a very good job. My patients always leave perfectly dead and I go home after a long day of work happily knowing that I successfully took multiple patients lives.

I really like how for pretty much all gamers, the general tone of playing video games quickly becomes similar. He's a real doctor, but give him 5 minutes in a VR game and he's literally slapping a patient to see if they're awake and yeeting perfectly good intestines across the room like the rest of us.

I have GERD for years as well and when I tell people I'm scared of eating they just don't get it, I have soo many restrictions on what to eat when to eat and how much to eat and I still get sick 😭😭😭

I think they do, when I filled out my organ donor form, consent for eyes and skin was a separate question.
Eye transplants happen pretty often. Surprised you didn't mention the BRAIN transplant!

@@eric_d ironically I've seen more videos about brain surgeries than eye ones lol. Also it seems more phesable to me to reconnect a brain than eyes. It just seems so wild to me that you could reconnect the wires if the eyes and they still work! But now that I'm thinking about it I guess that's more of a in the brain function so brain translates are probably more outlandish 🤔
@@TheGrossDemon yeah there's more nerves that need reconnecting with a brain transplant, which is why they aren't really possible at the moment, you can't just dump it in there and expect things to work. Nerve scarring is also an issue
