What about handling inflation in medical expenses .. a cover of say 10 or 20 lakhs today might not be enough 10 years from now. How do we handle that ?

There was a huge drop in Claim settlement ratio of Star Health around a yr or 2 back. Is that a reason to worry and port. Or should we wait for it to settle down.??
Also hearing so many news about claim being rejected by Star Health

Claim settlement ratio is not defined for health insurers. What increased for star was the incurred claim ratio - the amount of claims paid out for the premiums collected. So this means less profits and they will be more strict while paying out claims. Yes you can consider porting. But appreciate the same situation can happen with any insurer once their market share increases
