i think the biggest reason this works so well is anime intros and punk rock have very similar melody progressions. which is just pretty cool to me. i love when music has strong progressions like this.

This is the most underrated UA-cam video of all time. There so much to unpack here. The way the visuals match the lyrics, the animation style which I’d pay big money to see in a Disney+ series… all of it is incredible. The lack of any acknowledgement whatsoever of the sequel trilogy is the cherry on top.
Thank you for this comment! I tried my best to match everything. The animation is from a series of shorts by Disney and I also would pay to see a full series done. I wanted to mainly focus on the OG trilogy but felt I had to include some prequel stuff.

Not a single second of this animation was lacking or lazy, you even kept switching the scenes and had done such incredible backgrounds. I couldnt tell you how many time this gave me chills on my first watch alone! Fantastic!!!

This is absolutely incredible. I think that your work accurately sums up the magic and excitement of the entire Star Wars universe (I'm ignoring the sequels) in such a way that I think it would make anyone want to watch the movies (or rewatch). I'm not a huge anime fan (anymore), but I think that the visuals are so good that it can draw anyone in, regardless of style. Love the drama of certain shots. I'm actually shocked this doesn't have more views; this is the kind of thing nerds (such as myself) would absolutely love
