- I DID NOT ANIMATE THIS. THIS IS FROM STAR WARS GALAXY OF ADVENTURES
And here we are folks, the 3rd OP and the final one for the OT of Star Wars. These were fun to do as a little project, I might be able to do something with the prequels, or I might wait until the next episodes of Galaxy of Adventures and see what they have. So until then hope all enjoyed these!
As someone who was introduced to Star Wars via the Clone Wars show and watched the Prequels first, that Obi Wan and Anakin clash touched me.
I know, that was powerful.
Esteban Maysonet I wansnt introduced to Star Wars with the clone wars series but it's easily my favourite thing Star Wars
Agreed.
Actually yeah Clone Wars is better than any other movie/animates series about Star Wars there is and I didn't even notice it until now, holy shit
Even if you don't like the prequels, that moment is so powerful
My sister's husband works part of the animating team behind these star wars animations and I sent them to her to show them and the whole office loved it! Excellent job!
Nice!
That's awesome!
That's awesome, indeed! You gotta wonder if they took it to the higher ups and told them "Seriously! Call the Japanese office and let's make an anime already!" lol
The only thing is, the battle of "dub versus sub" would be EXTREMELY weird! lol

I don't think Nameless NP chant applies here, cause Shirou's replicate ability works under a different set of rules to anything Star Wars has done
I mean no Jedi or Sith could create replicas of other lightsabers out of thin air
Maybe instead of Nameless's chant you could use a combination of the Jedi and Sith's codes about using emotion but keeping them balanced
I was so emotionally moved by the Anakin vs Me flashback in as Darth Vader and Luke's lightsabers clashed! I almost felt tears swell up!
Yeah just wait for the prequels when they finaly Animate the most imporant Character in Star Wars. High Ground kun.

Did an anime opening just explain all of "Return of the Jedi" without a single word? I guess it did. Good work
In good animation, if you mute it the entire story still makes sense. Wako still names the regions and places on the map in his geography song. Micky Mouse still whistles a happy toon as he pilots a steamboat in one of the first sound-animation combinations ever. It’s one of the signs that the team actually care about the craft.
Kind of ignored the whole part about the second death star though.
It didn't have any space combat (which is an important part of the movie).
@@Eriodas Not necessarily. Star Wars, as a franchise, has always been about the characters and how they interact with others and their surroundings. The impetus behind Ep. VI was ultimately about Luke and his journey to become a Jedi, with the major conflict coming from his potential to fall to the dark side and his desire to redeem his father. The second Death Star was more of a MacGuffin and a setting with everything going on in the movie in regards to it being secondary or tertiary and only serving to add more tension to the story's main plot.
Well, all of the anime opening that i've seen spoiled everything that was going to happen
Holy Crap, that Anakin and Obi Wan scene was extra intense
That segment from Luke's slash all the way to Leia's face made my heart skip

Vader: You know that’s hell you’re walking into

I admit that, at first, it was just admiration.
But that admiration was built on a wish.
The wish for this hell to be undone.
The unfulfilled wish of a man who only wanted to help others, but who lost everything in the end.
Vader: Even if that life will be that of a machine?
Luke: Yeah, even if that life is dripping with hypocrisy. I'll keep striving to be a Jedi Knight of this new age.

*Duel of The Fates playing*
I actually think that would be a good combo. They've even got that moment before fighting where they just stand and look at each other.
You know someone did an amazing job when all the credits not only is not random writing, but actually localized credits for the staff that worked on the films.
So if Luke was summoned into a Grail War, would his servant class be “Lightsaber”?
Edit: Holy crap 2k likes and 100+ replies. Thanks!
Luke: Rider (Episode 4-5) Saber (Return of the Jedi)
Han: Archer
Chewy: Berserker
Leia: Ruler?
R2 and 3PO: not sure
Boba: Assassin
Vader: Saber
Palpatine: Caster
@@vanguardRailgun924 Insanity is a requirement for Berserker class so I'm not sure Chewbacca would be the best fit. Someone along the lines of a dark side user would be better.
Also Leia is a Marksman so she'd fit in fine for the Archer class.
Bebop_Hakusho Berserker was the closest I could think of at that moment since wookies can get pretty angry and can enter a rage state but he also has his Bow-caster so archer might work for him I guess , yeah Leia would work for Archer too. The droids I’d still be unsure of, maybe caster since a few other Robots have randomly been thrown into that class too.
@@vanguardRailgun924 I'm pretty sure that 3PO at least would probably never be summoned to take part in a Grail War (outside of a parody series in which case it would be hilarious) and I don't know about the physics involved because droids don't technically have souls and seeing as droids can't use the force by nature.
As for Chewbacca, even though I tend to think of the character as being gentle despite being somewhat temperamental I guess an argument could be made that he might find himself in a position where Berserker is viable it's just a bit of a stretch of imagination.
A more realistic reimagining of the Grail Wars in the Star Wars universe would probably only have Force Sensitive characters being summoned through the Force which isn't as fun to play around with. So maybe take what I say with a grain of salt. I'm just a huge Star Wars fan who's also a massive Otaku and has given this concept a lot of thought already in the past.
While everyone's talking about Obi-wan vs Anakin flashback and stuff, I adore that kiss between Han and Leia. Simply magnificent
Not gonna lie, I think Leia in that shot was the sexiest she ever looked.

Boba Fett got more character development in this anime OP then he did in his entire appearances in ESB or RotJ
Edit: thank you for all the likes! And yes I still stick to this statement because I’m specifically talking about ESB and ROTJ Boba... the one that got all the toys sold of him without any effort on the characters (and by this I mean the writers) part. I’m very happy the Mandalorian and Book of Boba Fett expanding on a character that we were told our whole lives was cool but never saw it. And no Clone Wars Boba was not cool, sorry if this is a hot take
I was thinking the same thing while watching this. For a character who's supposed to be the Wolverine from X-Men / Clint Eastwood's "Man with No Name" of the STAR WARS mythos, that's sad.

Naaah u had 5 previous seasons to go off of, if u didn’t see them first then it’s your fault 💀
... Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood's first opening is pretty spoilery, and Evangelion's is a downright recap of the story. They're only spoilers because we know the story and the context of the scenes- if there exists a person unfamiliar with star wars, those scenes alone wouldn't be nearly as revealing.
You ever seen a Jojo op lol
@Maurice Johnson Facts dude Jojo spoils so much with their openings but we dont even understand their spoilers at first. That's why I like their openings
Man that part where Luke and Vader have their clash and the flash back happens .. I felt that.
This really, really needs to be a thing. The perfect way to pay homage to the classics while adding more content. Updating the fight scenes and having flashbacks/moments of recollection in Vader’s POV of the Clone Wars and Prequels.
Agreed. Same plot and characters but with anime style battles and character designs. Star Wars translates so beautifully to anime; why the HELL has no one made this shit yet!?!
Dude agreed. Once the sequel trilogy ends, I would totally be fine with an anime centered around Star Wars. Maybe the Original Trilogy characters in an alternate timeline post ROTJ with Luke, Leia, Han, and the gang going on new adventures against new Sith Lords/Empire remnants...? Idk, just no more mention of Resistance vs First Order or Rey as an underdeveloped Mary Sue please.

Death Incarnate
KH player here, can confirm. Recent KH3 was one of the biggest let down of the series due to an over abundance of Disney at the expense of the original story content.
They reanimated all of Let it Go in-game. For no good reason. At least in Atlantica before it was for a rhythm mini game.
Still fun, still expansive, still had gorgeous graphics (though this is mostly Square Enix’s doing, being the veteran game company they are), but instead of being 50/50 in story content, it’s more like 80% Disney content and 20% original story content.
And this was supposed to be the finale to the story’s saga, built up over 13+ years.

Don't know. If you check Boba's Wookiepedia page, you'll see where a ton of STAR WARS comic books and original novels -- made long before the Mouse House got involved -- had it so Boba somehow survived and got out of the Sarlacc. Your editing work is so awesome man. That clash at the end mirroring, Anakin & Obi-wan's duel with the music rising. My heart clenched!
With all the marvel anime out there, I'm hoping star wars will soon follow suit. Bare minimum we need a lost stars adaptation.
I would like a Anime ether playing during the Clone Wars, Between Episode 1 and 2 ore between 4 and 5. Maybe they even turn the Attack on the First Death Star into the First Episode and it than ends with the Battle of Hoth.
I would rather see the "legends" stuff made into an anime could easily go like 10 seasons
We need the mandalore series ASAP, we need the search for Ezra series the only real Jedi left (if Luke is dead) and clone wars complete
There's a Manga adaptation of the "Lost Stars" that is still ongoing, if you want to check it out.
OH MY GOD I’ve watched this so many times and I only just notice Captain Rex at 1:02 ;-;
his armor is so subtle in the costume design love the reference
I love the fact that they added Rex into the intro he’s in 1:03 you can very briefly see his armour
The animation is from Disney, just an FYI.
I love the fact that even if the openings focuses mainly on luke for the most part, in the ending you can piece together that the opening is all about vader/anakin after all , being he who is having all of those flashbacks during the fight and in the corridor at the end. Truly masterful editing 10/10
Interestingly, Luke here share most of his father Anakin's trait and appearance.
We are the blade of the force
Our stillness be steel
Our fire be justice
A thousand years we have fought
A thousand more we stand guard
Unaware of loss
Nor aware of gain
For in the end of all
There is the force
1:04 I just noticed that’s Captain Rex. I know it’s confirmed that one of the men in the original movie was him, but this in particular I didn’t know he was in. and what makes it even greater is he’s fighting side-by-side with a Skywalker again
I hadn’t seen Star Wars before I saw these and I thought they were amazing. Now I’m watching Return of the Jedi with this sense of deja vu, not realizing that I had seen most of the scenes. This is awesome!
Dude, this combines my childhood with my present. You just got a new subscriber.
Holy Crap dude this is great aren’t these from the Star Wars anime shorts they did and all of this fits so good with the opening keeper goin
Brave Shine has to be one of the best anime openings. Ever. And "Fate" is one of my all time favorite animes.
I've watched this about a dozen times now and I just realized the scene with Han, Leia and the rebels on endor has the old bearded soldier (maybe rex maybe not) and he has white armor with blue stripes on his hands.
I'm not saying that's Rex, i'm just saying that it absolutely is him and nothing can ever change my mind.
It's him dude😄😄😄
I would love to watch the final dual between Obi-wan and Anakin in this art style 1:10 - 1:14
Leia: He's my brother
Han: But this is anime
These are absolutely rad. Love the Nod to Captain Rex. Keep up the great work.
There's Captain Rex from Star Wars: Return of the Jedi with his coat, Clone Wars, and Rebels. 1:02. You can see his beard along with his armor.
Nice catch
Rex actually stayed all that time? Now that's a true trooper.
Good eye dude!
Rex was his clone name, now he is Nik Saint!
He was in the real movie too
So I just watched all 3 of these and holy shit these had absolutely no business being this good. They perfectly captured the essence of both Star Wars and anime. I love these videos so much.
When this creates more emotion than the recent star wars movie.
Luke can't be a Saber since he doesn't have a beam. Since he uses a sword, he's clearly an Archer.
The Archer class is truly made out of archers....
@@PresidentFunnyValentine let's not forget that people die when they are killed
(if only that happened to palpatine)
I'm starting to think that these AMVs are the main reason why we got Star Wars Visions.
Oh wow that fight luke has with Jabba's men and Boba Fett looks a lot better than what actually happened in the movie lol.
You mean Luke swinging his lightsaber like it's a baseball bat while all the guards and Boba stumble around getting beat up by a blind guy?
Nobody:
Not even a peep
Me: *BrAvE sHiNe~~*
My sister: You can't sing shut up
Literally my sisters too
This made me feel more than the sequel trilogy
1 minute and 32 seconds completely crushed everything Rian Johnson has done with the star wars franchise
These OP edits bring justice to the originals.
These were made by Disney.
Short For A Stormtrooper Big For Your Mom I actually like galaxy of adventures shorts but it’s like the only thing I like that Disney is doing with Star Wars though
Short For A Stormtrooper Big For Your Mom Your opinion is just that, an opinion.
You telling me Force Awakens didn't made the series bad for you?
This look like something narmak would do, the fact that shrek was in there says it all
The force is with you indeed when you make these compilations and choose an appropriate OST that flows properly with the statement the images are portraying to the audience your timing was indeed something to behold my friend!
Luke-Kun was the Best in this Arc also it's so much more heartbreaking after watching the Revenge of the Sith Arc.
Luke-kun was amazing but I didn't like Han-san in this he used to be better
@@waahmed7830 Han-san took a back seat in this as the general but he returned in the 2015 sequel arc Episode VII The Force Awakens and he was much more featured and I dare say was the best part of that entire arc.
Skywalker-Sensei. Say it wit me now
Absolutely awesome. Did what a good anime opening should do - showed the highlights without dropping major spoilers. Great animation, and especially loved the callbacks to
Anakin’s past.
I only wish that this anime series would show Vader/Anakin redeem himself by saving Luke and throwing Palpatine down the shaft at the end. That would make this feel more complete. Anakin made mistakes, but he was a good person at heart who loved his family (Padme, and their kids) and his close friends.
Don't know wtf I'm looking at...but it's better than the recent Star Wars movies by Disney...thats for damn sure.
These are actually shorts made by disney.
Yeah, Disney made the animation in these videos.
I’d be so down for an animated adaptation of the entire Star Wars saga done in this art style.
This legit had me fooled the first time i saw it the editing is godly some of the scenes and how fluent everything is put together legit look like a real anime 0:53 looks like a real anime art-style i loved when jabba appeared so your choice of clips for this amv was perfect the choice of music matched star wars and the clips being shown too 10 outta 10 u earned a subscriber
okay unironically this led to watching fate since i saw the orignal op in recommendations, later looked up the watch order and oh boy
And now you have Hinako as your profile picture. My, how deep you've fallen into the hole.
@@hikariyagami4005I've got a whole figure collection now, a Master OC, I truly fell hard
I think this is my favorite one. The past and the present melding together as one. BRAVE, SHINE!
The incest bit between Luke and Lea in the manga was WAY weirder then it was in the anime.
You know this really does show just how the great the story of the first 6 movies is
I love Star Wars. I love the fate series. You good sir has combined two of my favorite shows into one great opening and for that I say thank you 🙏🙏🙏🙏
American people: "I don't like anime. But I like this! It's good!"
Americans like anime
This is not anime.
The transition from the zoom in on Jabba's face to the skiff scene with Luke Skywalker was so authentic 👌
Wow... this was well done. Not just visually (tho the edits with Obiwan and Anakin and the scene where Leia and Han kiss were both awesome), but like when it comes to Return of the Jedi being the end of Anakin/Vader's redemption arc, this song fits so freakn well! Great job man! ❤
Kiritsugu: It's over, Waver! I have the high ground
Waver: You underestimated my power
