    I got really good at neutralizing their threats by being 2 steps ahead of them so they conspired even harder. There just is no win in the workplace (“war”kplace) for authentic people who simply come to work to do their jobs rather than get involved in people’s drama.

      I get that! They needed to conspire even harder!! I felt like Jesus on the cross. I was their whipping post, however..... I really did not want to make a job change at the time. That's why I hung on. It certainly was on my mind to exit....somewhere fairly soon down the road, because of the caliber of those.... I was forced to work with. They were just Horrid! Crazy that the adult work (*war*) place...is allowed to exist as such. It's a bunch of bullshit, really!

      Yes, that's why I keep saying that the bullying actually gets worse because, when you get stronger, it takes more bullying to take you out. Your refusal to participate in their nasty, low-level drama is exactly why you get bullied. They misinterpret your integrity as personally insulting and offensive - like it's a commentary besmirching their "character" (or lack thereof). It's like the workplace is set up to enable only people who don't actually work.

      Frankly, I was in shock over her behavior towards me, all that ensued....and that it actually Escalated. After that that kind of treatment....and how I was ousted...NOTHING will shock me in the workplace Ever Again!! I am ready! I am jaded....and that's not necessarily...a bad thing!! @@clairehuntonline

    Great video. When I was in my 20s I cared so much what people said about me. I had an older coworker who saw me being bullied and she said what they think of you doesn’t matter. She said “you and God know you’re a good person” but this was the same woman who was all giggity with the bully , she was saving herself. I don’t know why I cared so much. It had hurt me and was so embarrassing. I always felt like my presence was annoying. I remember when I worked retail I worked overnight with a boss who hated me. He said I sucked at stocking so he made me just straighten up the shelves, never felt so useless. I overheard him complaining to one of the coworkers I had a crush on. The crush didn’t say anything but he was helpful all the time. Working at home is the only way I can survive the next 30 or more years of working. I feel the bullying and hostility online but I let it roll off my back easily I cannot and will NEVER work in an office again.

      As always, I'm so sorry to hear about what you've been through. You must be a fantastic person with many positive qualities to attract so much hate. Working virtually is definitely the preferable option for most of us. There is still bullying online, but at least it's manageable. Turn your camera off, and lie and say there's a glitch.

    I've seen a few of these and it is tapping into some anger I suppressed. All the days I thought "This can't be happening." or “Maybe I'm just sensitive?" I wish I knew then some truths about workplace bullying and had ways to express it... because it should make us angry and it should be addressed by management. I never allowed myself to vent during that time and because I stifled it so much for the first year I ended up having to get 2 organs removed and a big scar across my throat due to cancer. I bawled after the surgery like "What the Hell just happened to me?" When I returned to work the bullying increased and it was as if they were mad at me for being out when my doctor advised the surgery. Now I'm away from it I see it more symbolic that they would slit your throat and then blame you for the injury you caused them. I was mobbed. It attacks you mentally so it's hard to prove the damage and harm but I have a photo of myself in the hospital post-op and when I look at it it says it all. Because I remember feeling like I just survived an assault.

      I don't mean to make anyone mad. I'm not rage-farming. I still get intensely triggered because I still have trauma. We all gaslight ourselves in the beginning. The whole purpose of this channel is to let people know that workplace bullying is real, and IT'S. NOT. YOU. I'm so sorry to hear about your health problems. Yes, studies show that psychological trauma damages the brain more than physical violence. I really believe psychological trauma can manifest physically in uncanny ways. My own health has certainly deteriorated after almost a quarter-century of violent self-abuse. And, yes, workplace bullies will always bully you harder after illness. They are "kicking a man when he's down." They will exploit any weakness you expose. You did survive! Just remember to be extra-gentle with yourself - like a child or a small animal - and practice self-compassion to heal yourself. I have no doubt that you will be victorious.

    My fathers parents bullied my mothers parents, to be precise my mothers father. I remember that my father accused my mothers father to always defend himself. My mothers father was a perfectionist and was accused of selfrightioness and pride and I was next in line for the same blame by my fathers father later. Well so I beeing in this family I learned from within there is no point to defend yourself, they in fact love it, you are actually proving their point in their mind. Also if people have a bad view of you it is not you responsibility to prove them wrong, it's their problem and you could never prove them wrong.

    • @clairehuntonline
      @clairehuntonline  7 місяців тому +3

      That's exactly the right attitude. You are lucky to have that insight. Jealousy is an incurable disease. Trying to bargain with haters is an exercise in futility that can make you sick and even dead. It's always best just to recognize that every word out of their mouths is only a projection of their own worst fears about themselves that comes out of a place of deep insecurity and pain. It's 100-percent their problem, not yours. So never course-correct. Just keep doing what you're doing.

    Thanks! After all of the work bullying, which I became pretty good at dealing with. They started waiting for me after work. One person would text the two outside to tell them I was on my way. The ones out in the parking lot would get in there cars and follow me. The first time was to the gym, the second time was to the store, The third time I just pulled onto a a bus pit stop and waited. I was working on the fourth floor and from they break room you can see the whole parking lot. I looked out the window just to check my car and I could not believe it there was the two of them waiting by my car. I took out my camera and recorded them. They waited for like 20 minutes past end of shift. They text the guy on the inside, then he came out. I guess they got tired of waiting and took off. These people are never alone. They at least one other person to do this with. What do you do when they start taking outside of work?

    • @clairehuntonline
      @clairehuntonline  Рік тому +7

      Thank you!! That's crazy, but not uncommon. Workplace bullies have stalked and followed me outside the workplace, too. It was so bad I coined an individual workplace bullying technique called, "stalking." You might want to check out my video on it entitled, "Workplace Bullies Stalk Their Targets." Stalking is why I say workplace bullying is an addiction and workplace bullies are addicts. They are addicted to you. They're just data-mining, doing oppo research, trying to get your number and your Achilles' heel. They are desperate for the slightest shred of evidence to use against you. You didn't give them enough dirt inside the workplace, so they have to fish for it in your personal life. If they know you are aware of what they are doing, it might also be an intimidation tactic. If they keep it up, keep recording them, and call the non-emergency number for your local police department to discuss your options.

      There will never be any accountability, and part of our recovery from narcissistic abuse is to let go of the need for it. One of the points I make about workplace bullying is that workplace bullies can not feel remorse. If you're expecting an apology, you're going to be waiting for a long time. Ain't never going to be no "come to Jesus" moment. Why would they ever bother to look in the mirror when there's always another source of supply? God sees everything, and every single one of these people will be judged by the God most high.

      @clairehuntonline That's true well, that's kind of actually awesome. Because I always said that workplace bullies are sadists that get sexual arousal out of the pains of others and masturbate to others suffering. So when you said that I about fell off my chair period laughing and applauding at the same time. Because you're nailed it on the head there, friend. I totally understand what you mean about the being triggered thing but if you ever get curious. I did start a podcast and a UA-cam channel called the workplace abuse experts. It's a little different period it's not a sophisticated as doctor Romney or I don't know if you're familiar with Richard schwint or oxana beehoon or anybody like that but I study a lot of their work. They're very nice people period not me. I'm using profanity and middle fingers and insulting bullies. It's a bit of a Katharine. But I don't know, maybe this is part of my healing. It's helped me heal, but it's also like me Getting the satisfaction of calling workplace bullies a*******I think they might have quit spying on me. Because a bully doesn't like to be reflected back what the piece of s*** they actually are. They don't mind seeing you in pain. They like that. They don't mind you defending yourself that gets them erect. Once you either ignore them or start making fun of them, then stand they f****** freak out. LOL so ignoring them is best. But I put my insults on UA-cam. I wrote a song about how my work place. Bully had a head that was shaped like a big, fat penis. And no doubt it really was. The a****** saw it got mad and he had his Grandma harass me threatening to call the cops on me because I said her bully grandson had a head that was shaped like a penis period it was a great song it had a good hook. I've been wrote this really neat guitar solo then somebody had to explain to the dummy that ridicule is not a crime he was too stupid to get that but bullies are always stupid. I felt like in mocking him in FAG I was actually giving at least some workplace targets a little bit of Justice for the b******* they had to endure. LOL. That's just the way I roll the workplace of use experts. It's worth a laugh, ha.
