I think I can speak for many Americans and say a random rural French town to you is enchantingly beautiful to us! Fog and all! Thank you for taking us along!
This was a fail??? No way. The fog just gave this beautiful village more character. The church door was also gorgeous. Thanks for the travelogue. BTW, the spy camera took good footage.
I don't think this was a fail at all! You still showed us around a beautiful village with lovely buildings that we probably would never see otherwise. I think it was great!
Beautiful Ryan. You are a natural tour guide and historian. You make it both fun and interesting in all sorts of circumstances that you encounter. I love watching your videos 🎄 Merry Christmas 🎄
Hello from Texas 🤠🇨🇱 No need to apologize for this video. We find all your videos very informative and entertaining. Many of us would like to be there walking around the beautiful little villages with you. Thank you for sharing your adventures with us. Let's keep looking for a property for you to buy. Take care. 🌺🐾
I loved that walk... I don't mind the fog, I could see all the landscape just fine. Thank you for always having a happy spirit, Ryan. That's why we didn't notice anything wrong at all. Wish the walk was longer ~
Entertainment value of exploring a random rural French village: Huge! Thank you for walking about and showing us the very cool churches and official buildings. This is such fun being included in your search for your first home.
Love your music. I love fog! It makes people quiet like when it's snowing as well as giving our lives a short time for living in a dream while awake. Thanks Ryan! Dang you're quick! Love to all.
We absolutely LOVED the fog! It was beautiful. We don’t get a lot of fog in Idaho USA. Lol And we definitely don’t have as much beautiful green landscape. Especially this time of year. ❄️❄️❄️ We always love your videos and seeing your beautiful country in different seasons is so fun. Thank you Ryan for letting us come along. Jay and Christa
Hi Ryan, is was not a fail, it was very interesting. I feel sad you couldn’t get the property near your best mate Billy. Never mind something will turn up for you. I do enjoy your music choices and all the editing and camera work you do for Billy. Have a great week, cheers from New Zealand.
We really do love your videos Ryan. On your channel and on Billy's, you do a fantastic job. Your personality and how you carry yourself just makes us so happy, such a mood lifter. Thanks for sharing your journey with us!
I love your walking tours of random French villages! The one sporting event I look forward to every year is the Tour de France, which I first started watching for the scenery. The landscapes are gorgeous, but I also love seeing what I can of the town and villages of the country as the bicycles zip through at dozens of km per hour. (Getting into the sport of cycling itself took a few years of watching.)
Ryan, i really enjoy your visits to other villages. This video with the fog and country feel is great. More visits, with driving through scenery that you take for granted but we love…please.
I enjoyed the random content, lots of unexpected turns and surprises. You made a great piece of work out of lots of bits and pieces. Thanks for that Ryan! 👍🏼👍🏼❤️🇺🇸Ohio
Ryan, I love the ancient medieval church, from some information I have gleaned, the curvature at the back of the church is a telltale sign of the age of the church, so around the middle Byzantine era between the 800s and 1200s. The video was beautiful, the mist or fog gave the village a particular charm about it, you wonder if a knight comes rolling down the street in full armour on his horse. Your video is a PASS Ryan, I love it! ⛪
We have very similar foggy pictures from Baden-Baden. I actually found that village footage very beautiful. No fail there. All weather can be beautiful if you dress for it. Even snowy Saskatchewan, Canada when it's 40 below 0 centigrade.
I love the walks around villages and any other part of France since I won't have an opportunity to go there. I enjoy seeing things that are far different than anything I am used to. I appreciate you sharing.
It seems I've seen this village before. It is very nice and the fog didn't ruin it at all. The church was pretty as was the garden in front of it. Keep looking and you will eventually find the right place or maybe it will find you when you least expect it.
Thanks for taking us on a tour of that village in the middle of nowhere. The church door was gorgeous. Very nice and quaint and I liked a few of the buildings there too. Great video Ryan regardless of the fog 👍
Loved the 🌫️ 🌫️ 🌫️ foggy, quaint little village! Simply beautiful! Thank you for sharing! P.S. I really hate to see your channel suffer from you putting all the effort and energy in to 'The Pethericks' channel. I subscribed because of the amazing videos you make and I miss seeing them. I hope you can get back to where you were when I first found your channel.
I loved the fog over the pretty village. The river and path along it are very charming so don’t apologize for the fog, as it enhanced the character of the village. The front of the church is very beautiful. Keep up the good work. xx
I was expecting this update : Santa Claus , the real owner of the property, will give you the keys, for your Christmas present ! Because you really love the mansion and annexes and a wonderful family lives in the neighbourhood ♡☆♡ Merci Ryan pour les videos et nous faire partager ta belle amitię et vie avec les PETHERICK S. MERRY CHRISTMAS to you all.
Great to see what you see, behind the scenes and filming. Village was a great little tour and it’s lovely to see in different weathers. As for the house you went to see with Billy it’s like you said “it wasn’t meant to be!” However there will be something better waiting for you. Great video and carry on being you. ❤
Ryan, I loved your walk through the village. It was beautiful in the fog. Looked very peaceful. The fog added to the atmosphere, especially around the river. Pity for you that you didn’t see any properties for sale. But definitely not a fail.
Ryan, you need to be reminded that you are extremely talented when it come to creating you tube videos, and FOG does NOT = FAIL! I enjoyed this very much because let's face it, a dose of reality mixed with chocolate box rural France is what we all need in the lead up to Christmas, to distract us from the stress of commercialism and remind us that simple pleasures are what will keep us healthy in mind and body, and grounded, no matter where we are on this crazy but enchanting planet.
Great video, Ryan!! It's always a pleasure going on little adventures with you. The little town you took us to was very charming, even under the blanket of fog. Add some mysterious music to your footage, and you've got yourself a spooky walk-about for those who love mystery and paranormal content. Anyway, I still think it couldn't hurt for you to keep tabs on that Manor house at least until you see someone has moved in. You are well versed in how long these deals can take, and there are plenty of things that can still go wrong for the potential buyers. You never know, Ryan. You could be blessed with a Christmas miracle. You have been a very good boy this year. 😇Sending you a big hug, buddy. I hope you and Billy have a great week ahead. 💌💗🫂💗
I loved the village in the fog. Mysterious looking. Hope you find exactly what you are looking for. I truly believe that things happen when they are supposed to happen no sooner and no later.
Ryan I really enjoyed your vlog even though it was foggy but that's okay it is a beautiful town. Sorry about the house you liked but remember the perfect house for you is just waiting for you to find it. Lots of love, Kathy USA
So good to see and hear you, Ryan. You’re looking as handsome as ever and your smile is looking so fine! Loved the walk. Someone got a nice place. You’ll find the right place at the right time. See you soon. ❤😊
I love foggy days. They are rare here. The village is adorable. Have you ever considered photography? Then you could sell to us. That church door is gorgeous and gave me the photography idea. Also a nicely shaped tree behind your left shoulder across the foggy river could lend itself to a good photography shot. So could possibly the fire station. You just have to get the angles and what to include and not include right.
Thank you Ryan for your tour of this village. That looks like a Norman tower on the church. Some lovely buildings along the riverfront, I can see why you'd prefer that. Hang in there. The right house will come along. I put a picture of my ideal home on my fridge. It wasn't long before the exact one manifested.I had to move 150 kilometers for it and change jobs so it is possible.
Wandering in rural France how could I not enjoy that Ryan. It is places I will never travel to so you are showing me great wonders. Of course I am speaking on my behalf. Thank you for sharing them.😊
Ah well, Ryan, this really wasn't a fail, you know. If you want to live near a river, though, you'd better get used to the fog! I grew up near the Ohio River (Northern Kentucky, US), and trust me, fog was a fairly frequent visitor, especially in the fall and spring. You have all of that nearby moisture, and when you've got humidity and a decent temperature difference between the air and the water, fog will be your friend! That said, we still got a lovely view of the river, the path, and the village itself, so I call it a win. Thanks for taking us with you! 😊
Morning Ryan, the video was lovely. Loved the village it is very beautiful and the camera work was very good. I enjoyed it much I am sure so did all the other viewers. Keep safe, be alert. Kind regards
Beautiful town, beautiful fog. I loved the church, and the town looked charming. Please, did something happen to one of the Petherick Jack Russells? Thank you for your vlog💗.
Fog adds a nice bit of mystery and declutters the landscape. The old buildings, homes and infrastructure in Europe always blows my mind. Good luck on your hunt. BTW the 360 go footage is perfectly fine for UA-cam with a bit of light👍👍
Lovely to see you back on UA-cam Ryan instead of behind the camera for Billy which you do a fantastic job at by the way 😊 Hope to see you in a few more videos for Christmas. All the best ❤
Love the Foggy village. Too bad there were no properties for sale. Glad you filmed anyway. And that manor home was bought. Wonder who bought it. You can find out in the future. Stay safe and glad you're posting on your vlog too. 😊
Not a fail!!! I really enjoyed your video of the small town! It gives a great prospective of life in small town France. Maybe you could add the top 5 historical tidbits of the towns you visit? Looking forward to your next adventure! Thank you so much!
Definitely not a fail. I enjoyed seeing a french village and going for a short walk with you! Even though it was foggy, it was gorgeous. Really enjoy your content Ryan! Stay awesome friend!
The church looks as if it was a castle/mount & Bailey at some point. Just from the strange construction & add ons, as well as the hill to get there. Beautiful village.
I'm just happy whenever you upload. A foggy walk is still lovely. Thanks for making videos on your channel when you can. It's always a nice surprise when I get to see a Pethericks video _and_ one of yours.
Ryan, this was one of my favourite videos yet. I loved the fog and your walk, brought back memories of France and walks in crisp foggy mornings myself. It's enveloping and very real. Great idea to buy a place within reasonable distance of Billy and Gwen. Keep hunting and keep showing the different villages and properties for sale. 👍👍
I enjoyed this video - I really am enjoying see France in all it's weather. That little village was so pretty along the river. The church door was lovely with the pretty hanging flower planters. Just lovely! I might move to France 😉
I thought that was beautiful the village was enchanting. I didn’t see it as a fail at all. We don’t have enchanting in California. Not like that anyway. I was really sorry to hear that the property had sold. With that said, I love your attitude. You are always the most upbeat, positive person. So some thing even better is waiting for you. Thank you Ryan for all your hard work. Love from California.💜🤟🏻🎄😎🇺🇸
The video of your walk thru town was very nice. Looks like a nice place to live. Sorry your manor house is no longer for sale. You just have not found the place that will make you deliriously happy and it will be easy for you to buy.
Thanks for sharing yet another great video , Ryan!! Loved the fog! The fog provided great footage!! Keep this kind of videos coming!! Best regards from Norway!
Wow! Wow wow wow! Daon looks beautiful even in its winter veil! I bet its absolutely GLORIOUS come summer time. Makes my artists heart ache to travel there and live quietly. What a find! That's definitely not a fail pal!
The tour of the village was so nice. I was wondering if you all just had sun shine and lolly pops all the time or real weather like the rest of us have. lol. I really enjoyed the video. Thanks.
Hi Ryan, let’s face it you are a brilliant camera man, you could get a job anywhere, I think you are amazing and I love ya! I thought it was nice seeing the village in the mist, it looked quite romantic, you never make a bad video Ryan you don’t know how to, I agree with you, when you find your forever home, it will be the one you were meant to find all along, much love and seasons greetings xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx😘❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
What you call a video fail, I find charming! Maybe next time the bakery staff will allow you to film inside? Would love to see the different breads on offer. Oh, and I agree that church door was great. They even had blooming flowers in the box outside. Pretty remarkable in December after a snow!
I enjoy your walks through various villages and this one was quite nice and less fog would have been picturesque. You find something for you that calls you to it, so keep looking. 😻😻
Not a fail! Very nice video of this cute little town. I think the fog gave it a kind of mystical look. Very nice. I think if that house is sold, then I hope the new owners get busy and renovate it. Otherwise it will go to ruin. It has a lot of work to be done, but, all it takes is hard work and enough money to see it through. Maybe you can ask to film the renovation if it happens. I enjoyed all the content and thank you for taking us along.
I think I can speak for many Americans and say a random rural French town to you is enchantingly beautiful to us! Fog and all! Thank you for taking us along!

I totally agree with on this comment. That you Ryan for this vlog.
Wish we had more gentleman in this country like they have in France
I don't think this was a fail at all! You still showed us around a beautiful village with lovely buildings that we probably would never see otherwise. I think it was great!
People always complain about fog but I love it. It gives everything a magical mystical dreamy look and feel. ♥️
I don't get out much these days so your little walk through a quaint little French village was just what I needed. Thanks!
Even on a foggy day it was a very pretty Village and I love the bridge over the river! Thank you for taking the time to share this with us
Beautiful Ryan. You are a natural tour guide and historian. You make it both fun and interesting in all sorts of circumstances that you encounter. I love watching your videos 🎄 Merry Christmas 🎄
What a beautiful village! Love the church, river, fog and tour. Thank you Ryan.
As someone who lives in the desert I really enjoyed the fog!!! No fail for me. I loved the look of the village in fog. Mysterious and romantic! ❤️
Not too shabby at all Ryan. It is a beautiful little village even in the fog. Thanks for taking us along🎄❤️🙏
I have never seen a little French village and I LOVED it, thanks for bringing us along, please show us more! Thanks

Same! I stay up to watch the Tour de France just to see the scenery. I was into the sport but Floyd Landis ruined that for me 😂😂😂
I honestly enjoyed the video. The charm of the village was not lost due to the fog because your filming of it was amazing.
Ryan, i really enjoy your visits to other villages. This video with the fog and country feel is great. More visits, with driving through scenery that you take for granted but we love…please.
Ryan this isn’t a fail, this is very interesting seeing French in a different season, love your city walks..exploring a village. Love it, thank you.
Love your town and village walks/tours! It's nice to see the French country-side. 💖✨

This was not a fail Ryan! The village looked mystical in the fog. It was a lovely village. 😁
Loved seeing the village and the fog just gave it a bit of a mystery feel. You had to wait to see what it looked like up close not all in one shot.

That front door is gorgeous. Lovely quaint French village. Being so close to the river is one reason for the fog.
You make such lovely videos Ryan. You made me laugh when you said ‘I do agree with myself’….that’s always good to hear!

Well I don’t know about anyone else, but the town in the fog was beautiful. And a perfect place and weather to take a walk.
