Hearing the mama’s read those awesome letters that Philip wrote. Very specific to each child. What a wonderful man! Way to go Philip’s mama! The children was so very excited! What a truly spectacular evening!
Phillip's mom is truly incredible. The kids were adorable, and it sure sets the tone for Advent. Anna Lise looks gorgeous, and I miss seeing her on the vlogs. So it's a treat to see her here.
I just read Dan's vlog last night where he let us all know that he and Annalise were no longer together. Everyone was pouring their hearts out to him and what a good dad he is. This is in no way intended to take anything away from him but I burst into tears when in this vlog Stephanie introduced them as Annalisa's children. I am so glad to see that Stephanie and everyone from the Chateau has embraced her and the children and yet hopefully things will work out for the family to be united sometime in the future. Annalise is now a single mother in a country not her own, learning a language other than her mother tongue, no close friends or family to celebrate with. Stephanie & Philip, thank you so very much for the beautiful caring people you are. Much love from a Grandma in Toronto, Canada.
Phillip, you are so thoughtful. What a wonderful time the children had. Children are the greatest joy of life ! Merry sinterklass! Your mother made the night!
Oh my gosh!!! This brought tears to my eyes I absolutely LOVED this one! Philip you are truly a keeper! I loved watching the magic in the children's eyes! Of course, the magic in Amaury's eyes was also delightful!
Well done Sinter Claus (aka Phillip and his mom) It just warms your heart to see the joy in those boys faces. Thank you for a little more information on a Dutch Holiday tradition!
Magical! Well done, thank you Philip, Jared and Philip's mother and Amaury for creating this and Stephanie for filming. Made my day. How great to keep the tradition alive and bring these kids together.
This is the best day of advent yet. Somehow children make every holiday event more magical. How wonderful for you all, especially Phillipp and his mom, to include them in this special tradition.
Philipp you have outdone yourself!! Your mother is so sweet to have sent that. As a mother that would have been so lovely for anyone to have done for me and my children. 😊
So lovely to see the children taking centre stage.. and how well behaved they all were during the Sinterklass experience. All at an age when they can truley get lost in the magic.
Seeing Phillip running around telling the kids about Sinterklaas and seeing his smile as the story was read out. He's just reached new levels of sweetness.
How sweet this was for the kiddos! Philip is such a sweet man! Good guys get such a bad "rap" with the saying, "Good guys finish last." I believe good guys are the BEST! What I love about LaLande is that it attracts people who are beautiful inside - who are such lovely and precious souls. It's a gathering of people who aim to enjoy life, forge connections and make their lives and others better for the interactions between them. Merry Christmas!
I want you to know that the costs for the unexpected repairs will never outweigh the joy that you bring to this world. A world that needs that sense of peace, love, and joy so much.
Just seeing the joy on the childrens’ faces and hearing their delight is so heartwarming. Transforming a room in the chateau into a magical place for children made me smile. Thank you to Phillip, his mom and to everyone who made this video extra special.
Phillip has a wonderful heart! ❤ His spirit of generosity of his time, talents, and love is truly a blessing to see. I absolutely adore the Christmas series!
This was such a joy to watch! I always feel emotional seeing the pure joy and excitement in a child’s face during the holiday season! Philip and his mother are so sweet to share this beloved holiday with the children and all at LaLande! Well done to all who had a hand in creating this magical evening for the children!❤
I agree totally and did you see the look on Amaury's face he would make an excellent father. If they choose to have children together I think they would both be amazing parents.
Oh my gosh, Philip and his mom and SinterKlaus outdid himself again!!! How sweet! So nice to see Annalise and her boys especially with Marc and Amy and their children. Love and hugs from Mary in Southern California 💗🤗
I love Phillip having so much fun, being the secret Sinterklaas! That was fun to watch, so happy for the children. Thanks for sharing. Merry Christmas to all! (from Sandi)
This is one of the sweetest things I’ve ever seen. I’ve loved Phillip sense the beginning. He has such a tender heart! Kudos to Stephanie for supporting him in this. I love you both! As well as the whole LeLande family. And for you guys to make Annalise and her children feel so welcome 🥰
This was so heart warmingly adorable 😍. Phillip you and your mom made it so special for the children but also the adults. The children's eyes wide open were so precious.
What do you think Stephanie? Is that Philip a keeper? I sure think so. He is so talented, creative, sweet and kind on top of being fair, decent and honest....His parents must be so proud of him. The kids just loved every moment of it .......magical and fitting for Lalande, those that live there and those that visit. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you all!
Oh my goodness; Sinterklaas at the Chateau actually gets to be celebrated with kiddos this year! Both The Big Adult Ones lol, and the Littles. I wonder how Jack, Thomas, and Clement are getting along! They're the next generation of Chateau Owners after all, and will need to rely on each other just like their parents do😊.
The chateau glows with the warmth of not only the robust fire 😁 but by the joy in every one's faces, to watch those children be so immersed in the visit of SC
No matter how many or how fabulous the decorations, the joy and magic of Christmas is all about the excitement of children. That was excellent Philip...
There is nothing more beautiful than a children face full of joy and inocence. Its what I miss the most, when my sons were just an innocent children waiting their Christmas presents. Well in my country ( I'm spanish) we celebrate the three wise men, on january 6th. Kids left their shoes with some food for the camels before they go to bed early.
Phillip always knows when and how to use his Magic ! Hopeing that there is a little Christmas miracle or magic for Phillip this Christmas. He so deserves it ! ❤🏰
I'd say those kids are in great hands! I love seeing any adult get so excited for a child's own happiness. Way to go Philip, spoil them babies! 🥰🥰😊😊That was very sweet for the kids.
Philip your cards were absolutely extraordinary! What a fun time to watch the kids. They all seem to get along really well. That’s really a cool tradition was wonderful to see. I think Philip had as much fun as the kids did. Thank you for taking us along.🤟🏻💜🎄🎅🇺🇸
I grew up in Wisconsin where there is a large German population and the tradition of St. Nick's Day is still celebrated there. We would hang stockings by the fire on the night of the 5th and find them filled with a few treats the next morning as an incentive to be good through the rest of the month until Santa came back. I love the old tradition, so I brought it with me to Washington state and celebrate it with my kids (who are now all grown ups!) with hopes that it will someday be carried on to the next generation.
Oh this is the best! So sweet to see the simple joy and belief of the children. And Philip! And Philip's Mother! All of you are so thoughtful, right down to the last "detail" -- gifts for the grownups too.Thank you for this delight!
My father in law was Dutch and my mother in law always did St Nicolas to give the presents for the children and adults. It brings back such wonderful memories
Now we know where Philip gets his unique and lovely combination of care and precision, from his mother. What a wonderful party that the kids will remember forever!
Oh that was so lovely with the children young and older. What wonderful traditions to be cherished through the generations. Well done Phillip and his Mother to share such precious moments in time
Many years ago our neighbours asked my husband to play St. Nicholas. He agreed and I was invited too. He was given their heirloom Nicholas costume and a family Bible where the good and bad deeds of the kids were written down. When he rang the bell and entered the room I noticed the nearly 90 year old grandmother cowering behind cushions. When she was a child another figure accompanied Nicholas: Krampus, a devil who punished the bad children ! She was literally put in a sack and carried out to the barn !
Philip is really such a wonderful man; a perfect match for Stephanie and her joyous nature. I just love Amaury reaction to receiving gifts- like a happy young boy. I noticed his reaction last year at Christmas time.
Oh my heart, this was just adorable!!! This is the holiday to celebrate the child, in us of all perhaps, but actual children especially! This is thetrue magic of Christmas! The Dutch culture is akin in some ways to Scandinavian, interestingly. And the expectation, surprise and joy this whole ritual shows in the children couldn't be morr heartwarming! How lovely and thoughtful, so many lovely traditions under one roof at Lalande, I really live that. I saw this after the *stunning* mideval chateau tour and boy oh boy have you made today special! You put in *so* much work to make these videos, honestly, it's incredible and very appreciated. Good tidings dears, and thank you! ❤️
Love that Philip did Sinter Klaas for the children. I used to love that day. We would leave hay and carrots in our shoes for his horse. There would be a terrific banging on the door, startling us half to death, and one of his Piets would throw pepernoten into the room. We would all be too much in a hurry to gather as many of them as we could to ever get a glimpse of Sinter Klaas and his horse. Sooo exciting!
Philip has the biggest heart! ..what a beautiful. Kind , selfless human he is! ..always thinking of others to make them feel special...❤..this was so sweet..x he has a heart of pure gold ..❤
I love that the moment Philip started talking about the children putting their shoes next to the fireplace ,Amaury starts to take his shoes off.
I didn’t even notice that!
Yes, I noticed too. Made me smile. I hope he wasn’t too disappointed 😆
Hearing the mama’s read those awesome letters that Philip wrote. Very specific to each child. What a wonderful man! Way to go Philip’s mama! The children was so very excited! What a truly spectacular evening!

biggest little boy there was Amaury. He is going to be a great Dad someday.
Magical! Well done, thank you Philip, Jared and Philip's mother and Amaury for creating this and Stephanie for filming. Made my day. How great to keep the tradition alive and bring these kids together.

Lovely seeing the kids together. Annalise looks so lovely. I have missed seeing her on the Vlogs. They had a smashing time. Way to go Philip !!!
That was so sweet. Thank you Mummy Sinterklaas in the Netherlands. The surprise and happiness on the childrens' faces was lovely.
What a magical evening Philip and Mrs Janssen created for the children....and adults. This was beautiful to watch.
That was absolutely adorable. Well done Phillip for helping to keep the magic alive for the children and sharing your own traditions.
One of my favorite episodes!! Jack's drop jaw moment at 6:43 totally encapsulates the whole episode perfectly!!
Philipp you have outdone yourself!! Your mother is so sweet to have sent that. As a mother that would have been so lovely for anyone to have done for me and my children. 😊
I know it’s a ton of work for you guys but I am absolutely LOVING my daily dose of LaLande!
Absolutely precious!!! What an absolute gem Philip is!!!! He must be just like his mother. They both have beautiful, kind, big hearts ❤️❤️❤️
Just when you thought you couldn’t love Phillip any more. Such an adorable thing to do for the children. Real magic right there x
So lovely to see the children taking centre stage.. and how well behaved they all were during the Sinterklass experience. All at an age when they can truley get lost in the magic.
All future chateaux owners!
They were all very well behaved!
These children are living a magical childhood because their chateau parents & friends dared to dream
Seeing Phillip running around telling the kids about Sinterklaas and seeing his smile as the story was read out. He's just reached new levels of sweetness.
Christmas magic is invisible. You don’t see it. You hear it. You taste it. You feel it in your heart.
That is so very sweet!! I cried listening to the individual poems that Philip wrote to the little children! Absolutely lovely!!
Lovely to see Annalise and Amy and all the kiddos!! ❤ So sweet!!
How sweet this was for the kiddos! Philip is such a sweet man! Good guys get such a bad "rap" with the saying, "Good guys finish last." I believe good guys are the BEST! Jack's expressions says it all... adorable ❤
The children looked very happy. What a special treat for everyone.

Well done, Philip for organizing this. What a fabulous evening you created for these children. And a special thanks to your wonderful mother.
How sweet and thoughtful of Phillip and his Mom❤ To share all their holiday love with all of you, is heartwarming ❤️⭐️🎄
This was such a joy to watch! I always feel emotional seeing the pure joy and excitement in a child’s face during the holiday season! Philip and his mother are so sweet to share this beloved holiday with the children and all at LaLande! Well done to all who had a hand in creating this magical evening for the children!❤
SO good to see ANALISE and her boys all are so happy
Oh gosh, children with tiny British accents! The absolute cutest!
That was delightful. Their little faces and so lovely to see the next generation making friends.
Children’s excitement at Xmas is truly magical 🎅🏻🎄
What a lovely thing Philip did for these children. They will always have this memory of a delightful evening at your Château.
All the little boys together were adorable! How fun to see some little kids at LaLande for Christmas time.
I can’t be the only one who thinks Natti would be an Excellent mother!!❤️❤️❤️😊
The two of them would be wonderful parents, but not all couples with passion for creative work dream of children, and that's ok too. 😊
I agree totally and did you see the look on Amaury's face he would make an excellent father. If they choose to have children together I think they would both be amazing parents.
My sisters made great aunts but neither would have been great mothers. Not everyone has to have kids.
It's absolutely none of our business who we see fit as parents or not.
Totally presumptuous and not modern.
@@tiffytattoo2450 I totally agree. 💯
Oh my gosh, Philip and his mom and SinterKlaus outdid himself again!!! How sweet! So nice to see Annalise and her boys especially with Marc and Amy and their children.
Love and hugs from Mary in Southern California 💗🤗

How magical, the look on their faces when they saw their boots had goodies in them. thank you Philip x
We had Krampus Nact along with Sinta Klaus’ visit. We were gifted with a chocolate letter, a book, and salted liquorice. Lovely traditions!
How incredibly sweet of Philip and his mum. So lovely to be able to have fun with the kids (and then send them home with their parents)!
This was so heart warmingly adorable 😍. Phillip you and your mom made it so special for the children but also the adults. The children's eyes wide open were so precious.
