The amount of stuff we’re going to be able to get done before we race again is crazy. I’ve already got a decent amount done. Can’t wait to see the finished product
No kidding! I haven't really touched the 300. Just the Grom. What all have you been working on? Also, were you running a 360 cam on the back of your bike at NOLA?
Tony Generali We put some brembo brakes, got a new exhaust system, and got a nice throttle master. I also have to put a clear coat of paint on my bike. And yeah, i have a GoPro Fusion, but i didn’t get any footage sadly, i forgot i had taken out the sims before i got on the bike 🤣
Thank you! The 300 was my first "real" at home paint job. It came out pretty dang good... The Grom on the other hand came out AMAZING! If you havent seen the finished product there, check out the last paint video. It's nuts... and it legit looks like the 300s little brother. Thanks for taking the time to comment! I appreciate it!
I just got a grom and want to do this, the dude I bought it from dropped it and where the front turn signal goes its chipped pretty bad. Would you recommend trying to use like filler or something before I try and paint it?
If the paint is chipped, I'd start by sanding through the paint in that area to get it as smooth as possible. If needed, some bondo filler would be a good option to smooth it out. If it's cracked, I'd personally hit it with some fiberglass filler... sand it smooth. Then finish with a super light layer of bondo to fill any pinholes. Sand everything with 6-800 grit. Spray a high fill primer. Let it dry. Then lay color. I'm NOT a pro, but that's how I'd go at it!!!

are you gonna end up doing anything to your 300?
Probably not. The 300 is in a really good place. It's ready to go when this blows over.
Tony Generali ahhh okay that’s good. i’m aching to get back on track already
Can’t wait to see it finished.

Yeah man. I'm ready for it to have my black and red color scheme!!! I'm also ready to get out on the track!!!

does this paint it looks like flat color ?
That’s the primer. So yes, in this stage it’s flat.
