this is the only band I know that hasn't made one bad song. every one of them has unique sounds and some sound mashed together, but they're sound is so different. I love it
is it bad that i left a tear from my eye listenig to this song for the first time? man! there's so much feeling in Oceans ate Alaska songs! this one and Vultures and Sharks are my favorite! :D
Well, they've tuned to 432hz which has plenty of listening benefits to the human mind as well as easy on the ears. It is said to unlock plenty of emotional blockages so it is no surprise! c:
Man I just realized how much post hardcore influence was in that chorus, sounds sick. I miss when band mixed Metalcore and Post Hardcore, probably my favorite sound ever.
I think what really pulls me into this song is how it doesn't sound like other post-hardcore songs. like how it's organized and layered and everything. the creativity is awesome.
I cant recall why this song was recorded at a different studio, but mannn i wish it was recorded again these days with the clarity we have now. Such beautiful melodies
just clicked on this band and they have some sweet shit happening there and i think if they get to the big leagues they will have a great chance at getting big. LOVE IT!!
I absolutely love this band. In the last year, not ONCE have I ever gotten bored of their songs. They're just amazing. Definitely one of my favourite bands. And the insane part is, they don't even have a full length yet! Can't wait for that though! Keep it up guys!! :)
Am I the only one that likes the cleans in this album more than Lost Isles? Like, the screams sound better in Lost Isles, but these cleans are heart warming!
Oceans Ate Alska, the pioneers of Wherethefuckisthebeatcore
boi
+HyDrolik true story xD love 'em tho!
so accurate :') haha
Haha so true! When I first heard high horse I kept trying to find a way to jam but the beat is so inconsistent it's impossible lmao
Hey Gus ;)
i swear a breakdown and melodic picking sounds so fucking amazing when put together
The drummer's rhythm patterns are crazy. So dope.
Tommy Pickles It goes with his hair.
Tommy Pickles do you even vildhjarta, buh?
MALKton Dude do you even fucking Vildhjarta. Lol JK Traces and shadow is my favorite by them.
His understanding of complex polyrhythms and metric modulation are very good.
Baby Chris.
CHRIS TURNER IS THE BEST TECHNICAL DRUMMER ALIVE RIGHTNOW, CHANGE MY MIND
chris turner is dope asf 🔥 but i gotta give it to the drummer Aaron Kitcher from Infant Annihilator

Their drummer is hands down one of the best I've ever heard in a post hardcore band. I can't wait to hear a full LP.
Korbin Perry they aren't post hardcore tho? 🙃
how do you feel now
they are a bit posthardcore especially the chorus
this is metalcore, also known as djent

I feel the same way five years later. Can anyone find a bad song from these guys? Cause I cant!
Never heard any negative feedback about this band. Every song is a banger. They need more recognition. Please tour the US
Did anyone else cry at the very end with the scene of the dog looking over the lake? So heart warming.

Listen to Sound Of Silence by Disturbed and then say that.
Dude I just love this band sick asf
With how “deathcore” this band is getting now I wouldn’t be surprised if they released a song called “one string”, cos you know 😉
I wish they had it on Spotify
The ending riff of the song is sooo emotional!
Chris Turner's understanding of complex polyrhythms and metric modulation are very good.
This is by far my favorite OAA song, and it shows how much of a complex range James has on vocals.
1:10 is still my favourite part about this song, reminds me of like an All Time Low from 2007 low key, idk why, James has amazing cleans
2020 sigo escuchando este arte
1:05 Eu adoro essa transição com o cachorro correndo na quebra da música
He has some of the best sounding high screams.
