Always looking for something fresh & this is fresh. Different variances in the song is really interesting and I like it. My homie calls stuff like this " fairy metal". Told him " what? because he can actually sing??" I can appreciate a metalist who has vocals, but can can turn into a fucking metal beast is an impressive feat. Singing takes skill & screaming takes skill. Word up...

2 years that I'm a fan of Oceans Ate Alaska . Their EP ''Into The Deep'' is my favorite EP of all the time and I was thinking that their first/debut album will be insane but ''Blood Brothers'' and ''Floorboards'' were both disappointing for me :/ I still wait for the full album but ....... I don't know , those both songs doesn't sounds like OAA this sounds more like Struc/tures and other bands like that
I think that the structure of the song is way too "messy" I like it but I don't if this is even playable XD, but whatever, I'm still stocked for this album :D
Everyone is complaining about the drastic time changes but I personally think they pull it off well. It's heavy then melodic then chorusy it's very sparatic but not in an annoying way. It covers a lot of ground in this song. Definitely one of my favorite newly signed bands for sure.
The time signature changes place them in a subgenre called mathcore. It's really cool!
Yeah these changes guarantee these dudes are here to stay. So good.

This is one of very few bands where the vocalist keeps his accent as he sings. That alone makes them unique and to top that off, if this was on my phone and it was on shuffle, I would NOT mistake who this is. Two, of many, reasons to love this band. I have always loved their work and they STILL haven't let me down.

I can't help but to like this super disorganized sound and structure. Plus, I think the instrumentals are fantastic.

I do have to agree with you, it sounds rather disorganized when compared to other bands but it sounded like this way off of the EPs and they can actually pull it off.

Evnoiia I downloaded and listened to the whole Hikari and I don't even noticed I past 3 songs. Very technical.
Sounds like some mathcore bands, sometimes the tempo makes no sense but at the same time it makes total sense. Reminds me alot of Reflections.
this band is like structures meets rings of Saturn meets parkway drive. there time signatures and aggressive drumming are so tasty to the ear

i agree, it has a circle of contempt song structure too, all of their instrumental work is amazing, the vocals fuck it up soooo much, ive learned to just tune them out....i dont think this vocalist fits this band at all tho.... even his chelsea grin shrieks and lows are a bit sad... and then the blink 182 singing just fucking makes me pause the song, then search for all their instrumental work cuz it really kills the vibe for me... its soo fuckin gay sounding like starting 3:12 i just cringe and go to whitechapel, all shall perish, or whithin the ruins to shake it off holy shit it sounds fucking gay
not that i hate blink 182 or anything but it just doesss not work with the way these songs are written, because OAA songs are masterpieces instrumentally

This is such a rewarding song to listen to again. The first listen was hard to get into but the second time it sounds so so good.

Honestly I usually like when this genre of music has cleans. But am I the only one who feels like they are to heavy/instruments to crazy to have cleans? Like the cleans seem to be there just to be there.. Idk. There slower parts it makes more sense. But right when the first clean chorus came in it was just like.. wut..? The old stuff they did was ok with cleans. But this shit just needs no cleans for the most part.

I have high expectations for their next album. I loved their EP Into The Deep. It was one of the best ep I ever heard. I love how they combine progressive metal with that metalcore style both them and Erra.

This band continues to impress and amaze me. To Catch A Flame is my favorite by them, but Blood Brothers and this song are just mind-blowing. I can't wait to here more. Fearless, you will not be disappointed by these guys. :)

Got my brother obsessed with this band because of this song, it's so good so who can blame him? The accent in his vocals really adds to the whole feel of the song.
Followed OAA since the beginning, I remember jamming to clocks and taming lions when they had less than 200 views, they're an amazing band and watching these guys grow and get the recognition they deserve has been rewarding and has made me so proud of this group of fellow English lads :')

I love this. But it will probably sound bad live trying to sync up the guitar and drums.. vocals will rock. They're simple.. but the guitar and drums will probably sound a bit sloppy live. But that's what the live experience is about. Noone is perfect. Great band. Thumbs up!
That was actually awesome! The way it changed pace/tone instead of going with a typical core instrumental pattern. The vocal range was amazing, I especially loved the highs! And the lyrics were far from typical (in my opinion). All in all I personally thought this was an amazing song, I'm so glad I decided to check it out :)

The way this song is organized can be seen as a reference to how the emotions of the singer are. For example the heavier parts are showing anger. The fastest part as a plead for help and last more melodic can be for giving up or into the feeling or just as a venting. But i don't know im high sooo
