Next time you should throw polish kielbasa on a pan or grill (BBQ), as a polish person it always taste better when its warmed up and slightly fried Cold kielbasa is something you usually eat when you drink vodka, but if you want it on a sandwich, it's usually better to give it a fry
It's not an everyday thing tho, cranberries are eaten with camembert, which pairs up perfectly with kielbasa smoky nature, if there's cranberry and kielbasa, rest assured there will be a cheese in the mix too
Just wanted to say, I have been watching from day 1 and I love you! I am also a big fan of "Flats" and OW and love that he has videos of watching your content, too! Keep it up! I love your commitment, and episode is a Rollercoaster! I look forward to this every time!
Or better, put it on a BBQ, smokiness enriches the flavor actually and it's just delish It's also less chewy because the casing - thing that makes it chewy - is crispier and inside is softer - poles love fat in their food, if you eat polish kielbasa cold you're practically eating minced smoked meat with lard, that's why poles prefer to warm it up with boiling, putting it on a pan or throwing it on a grill
That's because you don't eat these cold, polish kielbasa is meant to be eaten warm, either by boiling or frying or grilling it, preferably with sauces You also don't eat MAINLY kielbasa, in polish culture it's more of meat you eat if you want quick easy food for if on BBQ, it's the quickest meat to make it on the table which works as a filler before better things fry up Poles always dull the smokiness with a sauce is all I can tell you, usually it's ketchup or mustard but since you're not polish, anything works, it's just poles prefer ketchup or mustard over most things

Do the thing where you make it so you can toast or do other things but instead, saute the kilbassa with the mustard greens and the kraut (also toast the bread still).
I found some great kielbasa at a little store in Toledo. Warmed my Polish girl heart. And that cranberry goat cheese is one of my mom's favorites, gonna recommend this combo to her. 😂
You should try to BBQ it, polish kielbasa is the best when grilled, kielbasa is meant to be eaten warm most of the time, unless you wanna drink hard spirits like vodka or on snacks like some ingredients on a toothpick thangy
@@Starlysh you mean sour rye soup (called white borscht)? You don't add meat to beetroot soup (borscht) You can also just boil it and have a quick dinner or breakfast meal, you just want to eat the kielbasa warm cuz poles love fatty foods - kielbasa is basically a bar of minced smokey meat and lard
@@Thispersonisreal Nah, there's so many different recipes, you can def add keilbasa to borscht. It's way better with it! Only way I'll eat beets haha.
Can't speak to that particular brand but a basic pad thai sauce would contain sweet, sour and spicy elements (eg palm sugar, lime juice, chillies), usually along with some base flavours like onion/shallots and garlic. The bottle there lists tamarind prominently on the front, so I imagine that's pretty prominent in its profile too. :)
My problem with kielbasa was its texture. I dont dislike the taste but for some reason i just dont like chewing it. I cant explain it other then im weird
that's why you eat kielbasa raw only when drinking vodka - so you can have sth chewy while drinking some alcohol, if you want it not chewy, you give it a fry or a grill (poles usually prefer grilling if theres a season for it), all because kielbasa is stocked with fat and the casing (the reason its chewy) gets crispier
And also to add to the comment above, poles love fatty foods, if you eat kielbasa cold, it's like you're eating a bar of lard and minced smoked meat, give it a boil or fry or BBQ treatment, lard enriches the meat and it's actually so good
well, its sometimes eaten raw only when having strong alcohol like vodka to drink, to drown out the burning feeling off yo gut with smokiness but all is true, poles usually put kielbasa on BBQ mostly around late spring, throughout summer all up to early fall if its warm enough, however if you dont have access to BBQ you can still give it a fry on a pan or boil it to soften it up
whoever at D&W decides to sponsor this show every month or so is a marketing genuis.
Those Kari Kari chili folks probably owe our boy a few pennies while we're at it.

It blew my mind that he didn't cook it at all! 😂
Big time agree. I know he has to roll for it to be grilled, but outside of the show what you said is absolutely the way to go. I love kielbasa.
I can and have eaten an entire thing of cranberry goat cheese by itself, it's that good
Kielbasa and cranberries is actually a thing in Poland, good taste, dice!
It's not an everyday thing tho, cranberries are eaten with camembert, which pairs up perfectly with kielbasa smoky nature, if there's cranberry and kielbasa, rest assured there will be a cheese in the mix too
Thanks for adding that salt, bae.
Thanks for the $500

Did you hear that Heinz released a combination of all their 14 sauces, called “Every Sauce?” I think it would be a good addition to the show.
This ranked below the sandwich made of cookie sandwiches for bread. Surprising!
Next time, if faith brings you the Polish sausage again, do not eat it "raw" like that. Give it a 3-3 minute fry on both sides.

HECK YEAH
sandwich time!
Never had that pad Thai sauce, anyone know if it's pretty good? And what it tastes like?
Maybe good for me, maybe disgusting for you. One way to find out! ;)
you should try polish kielbasa and grilling it on some BBQ, nothing beats grilled polish sausage
